eat at joe's!. after hearing about joe'sfarmgrill, we were curious as to whether it lives up to the buzz or not. the food was delicious and the menu reflects a creative view toward many diner staples.
the setting is refreshing, on the edge of a vegetable garden. we felt like we had entered a park. on the day we visited, the outside dining area was inundated with flies. but then again, it is outside and beside a garden... so that is to be expected. there is the option to eat inside, which we chose.
the food was delicious and the portions were very generous. the fontina burger was better than the menu description, and that sounded great!
the person who took our order at the window seemed like they couldn't have been less interested in being there, and rather than telling us that the drinks and condiments were provided outside, left it to us to search for them. admittedly, if you dine outside, the location of these items is obvious as soon as you step out the back door. but for those who choose to dine inside, it is not so apparent. there were more than a few puzzled patrons wandering around with empty cups in their hands...not a big deal, just awkward.
despite the lackluster cashier, the food, atmosphere, and overall experience were very enjoyable.
they also feature a really inviting breakfast menu. can't wait to return! prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity served.

not worth the hype! we went there for breakfast with high hopes of freshfarmfood and got cafeteria style scramble and bland potatoes. the pancakes were ihop style and nothing special. the best part is the location of the restaurant and frankly the only thing they have going for themselves along with the pseudo pc concept of "fresh food right from the farm". if you look around the actualfarmyou can see that they really don'tfarmmuch usable food for the restaurant. all in all just glorified cafeteria food hiding behind a great concept.

for a place the boasts freshfarmproducts, i was surprised by the level of fried foods. the salad certainly tasted fresh, the onion rings were firm but tasty with a great breaking. bbq was fine with the shredded pork being the star. plenty of outdoor seating but very little lighting. overall a disappointing experience not worth a long drive to.

recently i went
to joe’sfarmgrill, it is this little restaurant in gilbert arizona. my friend
and i met there for brunch and it was amazing. very family oriented and kid
friendly.  there were a lot of families,
even some pets and kids playing.

i found a few
things kind of off about the restaurant. the set up was a little weird. i didn’t
like how the drinks and silverware station was outside. i found the wait kind
of long, but manageable.

i did happen to
love the food though. it was a good southern tasting meal. i got a vegetable omelet,
pita bread, and a side of fruit. it was amazing! also, the staff was really
nice too. i would recommend joe’sfarmgrill. you should go try it.

long lines, too much hype!. i don't know what the big deal is about with regard to this place... everything on this menu is just "ok..." well except for the onion rings... those were better than average... otherwise it isn't really worth the wait in line...

also... in terms of the line... they have one person taking orders!!! the line is huge, and they have 2-3 registers... they could easily make it go more quickly if they were organized... but it appears they like to make their customers wait for mediocre food...

the shame, is that a lot of things on their menu sound and look good... but the flavor isn't there overall, or it has a tgif friday's kind of vibe to it... just havingfarmfresh ingredients isn't enough joe! where's the flavor? where's the technique?

i had their famous burger, it was thin and in need of seasoning... my fiancee had the bbq pork sandwich... which tasted like chain bbq... not a "bad" meal, but definitely not worth all the hype... or the line... or the price tag...

overall, it should be three stars, but i'm giving it two because it doesn't live up to its own hype! if you're gonna talk the talk, you need to walk the walk!

i love going to joe’sfarmgrill for my birthday. they give you a free meal. joe’sfarmgrill serves common food like burgers, pizza, french fries, etc. they use the freshest of ingredients because they grow their own produce in the farmland of agritopia. the johnston family bought thefarmin the 1960’s and have been there since. joe’sfarmgrill has been featured on many food shows like diners, drive-in’s & dives.

joe’sfarmgrill at agritopia is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, serving meals made with as many local products as possible. the milkshakes are refreshing in the hot sun, especially when the medjool dates (the trees are in sight of the restaurant) are in season.

joe’sfarmgrill it took me almost two years after moving here to find this hidden gem of a restaurant in gilbert but it became one of my favorites right away!  their focus is on common food done uncommonly well and served quickly.  and they hit the nail on the head! common foods such as burgers, fries, pizza, salads, and ribs are made into masterpieces at joe’s! not only is it gourmet fast food dining, but they use as much as they can from the organic garden on site.  what they can’t get on their ownfarm(i.e. the beef), they get from local, organic or natural suppliers.  you never really notice how fresh something is until you have something prepared that was picked that day. wow! atmosphere:   with your choice of inside or outside dining, you can enjoy joe’s year round.  the restaurant is placed in the middle of thefarmwhere the food you are eating is grown.  it might be in the city, but it feels like the middle of nowhere and has the peacefuln

love the greens. i absolutely love joe'sfarmgrill! i've had pizza, burgers, bbq, salads, fish, and hot dogs. every item is great. the salads are especially good, probably because they grow the greens right there on the farm. if you like joe's you should try the sister restaurant in downtown gilbert joe's real bbq.

was joe'sfarmgrill wildly popular before it was featured on a diners, drive-ins, and dives or did the exposure up the long lines to crazy long?  i can't say as i became aware of joe'sfarmgrill only because i was in search of great burgers in phoenix and thus a visit was mandatory.

located just west of the corner of ray and higley in gilbert, if you are in the area, joe’sfarmgrill is hard to miss, since it has a rather large neon sign, and is basically a large “retro-futuristic” building nestled in amongst the citrus trees at the edge of a working farm. thefarmisn’t a new thing, it’s been there since the 1920s, with the johnston family being there since the 1960s. the restaurant is actually constructed around what’s left of the 1960s ranch house, although the reno

see you at joe's!. this place is at a great location. not a convenient location for me, but eating at afarmis quite charming. i really like that you have the option to eat indoors or a number of different places outdoors.

the facility is such a futuristic looking building, yet it's on a farm. quite trippy. the bathrooms are clean, and they have a convenient hand washing station located near the restrooms.

the food tastes fresh and tasty. i just had a cheeseburger, garlic fries, and a soda. some say it's a little pricey, but i think the prices are on par with carl's jr. believe me, you'd rather be eating food from joe'sfarmgrill.
