normally burgers kinda bore me, you've had one you've had them all, but jo' burger's really different and very very tasty.menumight confuse you a little at first but the staff are very friendly and helpful. worth sitting outside too so you can watch passerbys as you devour it. but the interior's pretty funky too.

jo'burguer, i have to admit, was perhaps the biggest disappointment in dublin.
when i went there i was looking for something quick so i ordered the hummus, caramelized red onion toast. first the toast took arround 20m to be made and once i tasted it the bread was completely cold. as for the taste, sadly, the only thing with flavour was actually the caramelized red onion, and i was so looking forward for the hummus...
i also had a lemonade and that was well done.
looking at themenuthe prices seemed pretty reasonable.
the place itself has good decoration but it was a bit chilly and the music on the background didn't fit the space.
a couple arrived 2m minutes after us and it was only we were leaving that they finally received their meal.
maybe it was just a bad day but i didn't feel like coming again.

the wife and i went there one wednesday evening.

given the name, i was expecting a south african menu. besides the south african names, there didn't appear to be a big san link. this doesn't matter though, themenuand the venue are great.

our server was very and friendly. i had a lamb burger, which was juicy and tasty.

we'll definitely be back

what a spot, great burgers always provided. themenuitself is so broad and varied with many creative options. i got a jabaluani beef burger, half nude which had egg and bacon, whereas my girlfriend had a chicken dobson. i found the burger meat in mine amazing. the only downside is the price being a bit more expensive than gbk and aussie bbq, but you pay for quality!

this blog is beginning to make it painfully obvious that i spend the majority of my time eating. however, i am on a mission to bring you the best grub in dublin and so, duty calls. and yes, it is a real excuse!!

so this weekend, my fabulous friends and i ventured happily to jo’burger which is situated in castle market, just off south william st. jo’burger is the sibling eatery of skinflint, bear and crackbird – all of which have a great reputation for using wholesome irish ingredients to produce high quality meals. i have yet to visit these restaurants but after this weekend, i cannot wait to sample and review.

so, back to the place in question. we arrived at jo’burger at around 2pm, narrowly missing the lunchtime rush and were seated outside to admire some surprising irish sunshine. choosing to order from the lunch menu, i selected the ’10 euro jo burger’ with fries, while my friends both opted for the ‘chili chicken, coriander, pickle, mayo sandwich’. the lunchtimemenuis excellent value for money.

my friends assure me that their sandwiches were great saying that combination of ingredients were filling and flavoursome. they were also big fans of the ‘hot curry mayo’ which was ordered as a side. but, in my opinion, it is all about the burgers. love the burger, be the burger.

hands down, one of the best burgers i’ve sampled in dublin to date. it was positively huge and yet, i ate every bite! cooked to perfection, the meat was juicy and tender while the bun was soft and fresh. and, that wasn’t even the highlight! jo’burger produce their own relish which is absolutely perfect – i was tempted to ask to take a bottle home. actually guys, if you’re reading this – can you start sending it to supermarkets?

one last shout out for the homemade ‘soda mint lime’, which i may or may not have added a measure of rum to, creating a pretty awesome mojito. jo, you have my heart and more importantly, you have my belly!

went here for a burger recently with a friend!  being a fan of burger joints, its been on my list for quite sometime.  it was a cracking burger(i had the moroka) and the options were vast as you pick and choose each level which is a great way to get the burger you're looking for!  i had the sweet potato fries which were delicious but slightly on the expensive side(€4.95)!

if i had one complaint it was that the music was a bit on the loud side but service was great and it was a pleasant burger mission!  i'll certainly be back to sample some of the other burgers as themenuis great.

jo’ burger is small but trendy restaurant on castle market street that has some of the best burgers dublin has to offer. there is an excellentmenuto choose from that leaves you struggling to pick one. i decided to go for the zola beef burger, half naked (with only 1 bun) and a side of fries. i also added some melted brie cheese! my burger came with a large roasted pepper with an almond pesto spread, it was unbelievably tasty. one of the best burgers i’ve ever had!

jo’burger on castle market is a nice cozy place where you’ll find some of the best burger in dublin. it doesn’t seem like much from the outside - very similar to most of the restaurants in that part of town, but the food does the talking here! there’s something about places that have exposed brick walls on the inside that adds a unique charm to the place, and it’s no different here.

so it’s all about the burger here (and beer, but let’s not get distracted now). they have a lunchmenucombo where you get a burger with a lemonade or with fries for 10 quid, or 11.95 for the fires *and* the lemonade. and of course, their regularmenuis filled with burgers and a bunch of sides that pair up nicely with them. i had the morako - strips of bacon and brie piled high on a lamb patty with relish on top. it was a mighty impressive ‘stack'. the burgers was quite superb, and everything about the burger was quite awesome along with the relish. i do like my burger with a touch extra seasoning, which was lacking here, so be sure to let them know to be a little liberal with the salt & pepper while making the burger. the side of onion rings we ordered were quite delightful as well - crunchy and without a lot of oil having soaked into the batter, these made for a perfect accompaniment along with the burger.
