normally burgers kinda bore me, you've had one you've had them all, but jo' burger's really different and very very tasty. menu might confuse you a little at first but the staff are very friendly and helpful. worth sitting outside too so you can watch passerbys as you devour it. but the interior's pretty funky too.

a perfect place if you want to wait for an hour, be abused by the manager and go home hungry

i was really looking forward to a great burger. i went to jo'burger near st steven green. it was around 7:30 pm. as it was pretty full inside (it is a small place), i chose to sit outside. i ordered straight away - just a burger, no sides, no extras, no drinks and then waited patiently for the food to arrive. after 1/2 hr, i asked the waiter who was serving next table how long was the order still going to take. he said i"t is coming now, let me check." he never came back.

after 15 or so more minutes i went inside and said to one of the servers, admittingly with some irritation in my voice - "this is bordering on ridiculous. how long does it take to flip a burger?". the guy said that he was sorry, that they were very busy and the food was coming now. so i went back to the table. after maybe 5 minutes some guy (i have no idea who he was), charged out of the restaurant and screamed at me in front of everyone "if you are ever going to abuse my staff again, i am going to throw you out. " and he run back to the restaurant, without letting me say a word.

i was dumbfounded. who was he? i presume he was in charge. i followed him inside and tried to get an explanation what prompted his abusive behaviour. he was not prepared to say it, to explain, to call the "abused staff" so we could sort it out. he was cocky and arrogant. i said i don't swear in public, so i really would like to know what was it all about. he still would not tell me. i said i will post about this on social media - he just laughed and said that i could post whatever i wanted. then, like nothing happened, he said that my burger was coming now. i was lost for words. i wanted to tell him where to stick it, but i just said that i didn't want it, then turned and left.

i can't believe that a person like this is allowed to deal with the public. he didn't want to know my side of the story, he didn't ask - what seems to be the problem? he just attacked and abused me. if the restaurant was really busy (which it wasn't), the waiter could have told me that there will be close to an hour wait for the food and ask me if it was ok and i wanted to wait for it. those guys just don't give a damn. i will never go there again. you can at your own peril. the food looked good, but so are many other places in st stephen green. not worth the hassle and aggravation. go elsewhere.

great restaurant to dinner with friends, with great atmosphere, nice service and decoration.
several options to please everyone, for me specially, it has 2 veggie options and i choose the one with sweet potato. you can choose between the type of burger (several meats and so), bread and filling.
the burger is very big but quite cloying, that is a bad point for sure.
we also asked for normal and sweet potatos, that were really good.

great choice of burgers, friendly staff, seating isn't that comfy inside as you might have to disturb some fellow diners to get to your seat and vice versa. service is quick and you get some good beers and wines to accompany the burgers. this place is run by same guys who run crackbird and skinflint in the city.

loved the burgers here and the fact you can basically compose your burger! cool place also, with the murales and the dj. the service is very basic (not rude but don't expect the treatment of a french restaurant) but that's the style of the place and i like it.

jo'burguer, i have to admit, was perhaps the biggest disappointment in dublin.
when i went there i was looking for something quick so i ordered the hummus, caramelized red onion toast. first the toast took arround 20m to be made and once i tasted it the bread was completely cold. as for the taste, sadly, the only thing with flavour was actually the caramelized red onion, and i was so looking forward for the hummus...
i also had a lemonade and that was well done.
looking at the menu the prices seemed pretty reasonable.
the place itself has good decoration but it was a bit chilly and the music on the background didn't fit the space.
a couple arrived 2m minutes after us and it was only we were leaving that they finally received their meal.
maybe it was just a bad day but i didn't feel like coming again.

the wife and i went there one wednesday evening.

given the name, i was expecting a south african menu. besides the south african names, there didn't appear to be a big san link. this doesn't matter though, the menu and the venue are great.

our server was very and friendly. i had a lamb burger, which was juicy and tasty.

we'll definitely be back

so good! got the "pimsville" i think it was called.. avocado & salsa, and i chose the chicken. it was quite a busy time and they had actually run out of the normal buns so had it all wrapped in a tortilla instead which i would actually recommend! was a good option :) the sweet potato fries were yum however maybe toooo sweet? you also get plenty portion-wise so pretty good value.
nice vibes all round too, lovely staff & a dj playing the good stuff to add to the atmosphere :)

thought we'd go for the healthier option which was to go half nude with our burgers!! super filling in a good way and never leaves us with disappointment.

i went to jo burger for the first time and had a great experience! i was still a little full after breakfast so i opted for their warm potato salad which was so tasty and well prepared. the staff were friendly and attentive and the service was very good. i will definitely be taking a trip back their soon to try out their vegan burgers (yes plural!) :)

what a spot, great burgers always provided. the menu itself is so broad and varied with many creative options. i got a jabaluani beef burger, half nude which had egg and bacon, whereas my girlfriend had a chicken dobson. i found the burger meat in mine amazing. the only downside is the price being a bit more expensive than gbk and aussie bbq, but you pay for quality!
