i was at the store in new braunfels and everything was fine i saw myorderup it was a to-goorderthat already been paid for the girl who was supposed to be getting at was being really rude to someone on the phone and then just walked off and then she came back and walked right by myorderand i said there's myordershe goes i will hold on i have another one before yours but mine was sitting right there ready to go and i thought that was very very rude

tired of calorie-laden, heavy meals, our party of six adults decided to go to jason's deli for a change of pace. this location sits on a corner within striking distance of costco on a busy intersection of 1604. parking is limited and a bit strange as it angles around the shopping center. we parked and went inside toorderat the counter.

jason's prides itself on fresh organic ingredients, non-gmo and local when possible. they offer low cal, vegan, organic, meatless and gluten free items--the menu is quite large and filled with interesting salads, soups, wraps, paninis and sandwiches. chili, muffulettas, chicken nuggets and desserts are also included. we tried a trip to the large salad bar, the nutty mixed up salad, a cup of organic veggie soup, an amy's turkey-o sandwich with pepper jack cheese and avocado on an onion roll, chicken pot pie soup and a quarter turkey muffuletta. once youorderat the counter you're given a number and drink cups to fill at the serve yourself soda and tea bar.

all the food we tried was very good if not excellent; the salad full of nuts, cheese, dried cranberries and leafy greens; the sandwiches stuffed with meat and toppings; the soups mild but hot. even the tea and sodas seemed to be a cut above the usual serve yourself restaurant.

the space is clean and airy with some outside seating. prices are higher than subway but in line with other more organic places like panera bread. total for three entrees with soup or salad and a regular drink was $28.84 no tip required.

i only step foot into this place when i take my grandmother out to lunch. grandmother gets what grandmother wants. not sure why she ever wants this place though. all of the food is bland and nothing more. the wait toorderis always incredibly long due to inefficiency at the cash register. every single time i have been here they never bring out the correctorderthe first try. so be prepared to wait some more. i will give them this, the fruit plates are always delicious and the free ice cream is always a plus.

wow, we have been on a jason’s deli tear! this was another positive visit at what is becoming far and away our favorite deli in the area!

om: seems like i have written so much about this place, all positive…and this is going to read about the same! good service? check! the guy who took ourorderwas very friendly and helpful, we’ve noticed this to be a trend at every location that we have visited. however they are training their employees is definitely working. good good? check! i’ve had the club royale every time, and it’s been consistently a delicious sandwich. love that buttery croissant! chicken noodle soup was tasty. i saw my beautiful nom’s kids baked potato and i ordered one too, my first time ordering this item. first, the kids baked potato was huge!!!! totally worth it. second, this thing was delicious! loaded with bacon, cheese, and a pad of butter, i loved it! i’ve never seen a baked potato where the skin was crispy! i want more of this! every location has been excellent, and the mckinney one is no exception. we need to search out more!

nom: have you ever been someplace hoping they still have something on the menu from long long ago just to have toordersomething and it’s a blessing that comes from a moment of disappointment? yep…that happened to me at jd’s when i tried toorderthe long extinct deli cowboy! does anyone else remember that delicious saucy, cheesy sandwich? i do…but now they can make a “thing” and yes i’ll keep calling it the “thing sandwich” which has shredded (ick) meat in bbq sauce. doesn’t that sound delicious? yeah, not to me either. “meat” soaked in bbq sauce…hummmmm…sounds like a middle school cafeteria thing. pass!!!! so what to eat? what to eat when your dining dreams are dashed? i know!!! a kids baked potato!!! oh, but can you add extra butter and cheese? yes please!! this potato could feed two people. two!! i know the plain jane is the size of a small charter plane but this thing is ridiculous too! anyone say leftovers? but so so so tasty…crispy skin! with a delicate and fluffy inside, tons of butter, cheese and bacon. that’s right i said it…bacon!!! holy cow, just thinking about it makes me hungry…i think my handsome love really enjoyed his too!!! winner winner!!!

did not like the service. april 24, 2015,orderwas placed at 10:40am pick-up time scheduled for 11:00am. when i arrived myorderwas ready as usual. upon leaving i decided to check theorderonly, to find that it was incorrect. the manager tried to adjust the order, but it only caused more confusion. i thought it was the only one, but it appears that it was more than one customer.

frankly, this is the only time i have had a bad experience with jason's deli. so, overall i guess everyone is entitled to more mistake.
food and service is usually on point!

highly disappointed. i place an to-goorderover the phone with jason's deli, people are very friendly over the phone, i love mrs. karen she always greet me. today i had an problem with my food and called to inform a manager, the lady manager was very nice and was replacing my order, i called back to inform her that the person who was picking up my food, had left the establishment already, but the general manager got on the phone instead of the manager i talked to today, so i explain to him what was wrong with my food, and instead of apologizing he stated that he sold over 300 potatoes and had no complaints. i informed him that i frequent jason's deli often and never encounter an problem before, so he keep repeating himself, so i told him i didn't have to lie over an potato. so basically he did not want to replace my order, so i will never ever eat at another jason's deli.

jasons deli. i love their food and the prices are good, not to high.. but not cheap!! the staff is rude, like they dont care. when i make a to goorderthey always put me on hold and forget? i tried to get a to go box and they were very rude, and said no!! i used to eat their twice a week, but not so much anymore..for the price, i can get nicer service!

solid deli food. went here on a sunday night for dinner - the restuarant was quite busy, surprisingly.

nom'd - club sandwich

last time i ate at this location was well over three years ago, so i forgot what the food tasted like. service at the counter was friendly and the employee offered us a menu to look at while we decided. total cost was arounf $20 i believe, verty reasonable considering the amount of food we got. ourordercame out within 10 minutes.

this was probably one of the best club sandwiches that i have had and certainly within the top three. what made it good was the amount of meat that was used (a lot) and everything tasted fresh. the beefeater sandwich was also excellent, again tons of meat and smothered with cheese. there's also free ice cream as well! it's not the highest quality stuff, but it's free!

jason's deli supplied some surprisingly good sandwiches and would recommend to others. a "like" from me.

don't get delivery!. we have ordered from jason's deli four times. the first time they forgot one of our lunches (group order). the second time they made usorderextra to meet the minimum and then didn't send the extra. the fourth time they quoted us 35 minutes. an hour and 15 minutes later i called to see where the food was. i called for 10 straight minutes before anyone answered. i was offered nothing and told the driver was 1 minute away. that was 10 minutes ago... worst delivery ever. the manage said, "i can offer you..." (pause). "she will be there in one minute." we are teachers so we lost our lunch break waiting for food and never got our lunch. guess we will eat after school. send someone to pick up the food...ororderfrom a more reliable place. boo!

conveinent but not exceptional. we get take out from this place occasionally. they're close to home and have a wide variety of options to make everyone happy. they will deliver if yourorderis over $25. they have something for everyone, even the kids. however, nothing is exceptional, everything is pretty good. my biggest problem with the place? there is something wrong or missing from my to goorderevery time!

i now know to double check every little item when i pick it up, but it's super frustrating. the times that i haven't double checked and just trusted the people that handle to go when they reviewed myorderi almost always ended up going back for something. if it is something of mine that they have messed up or forgotten then it is annoying, but at least i can pick it up and have it hot. but it seems most often it is something for one of the kids and then my food gets cold as i drive back and try get it replaced. that is twice as annoying. they give me the food or fix it, but only once did they offer any type of compensation. and this was after i called in and requested to speak with a manager.

she was very apologetic and i explained how this was the umpteenth time this had happened and on this particular day i did not have time to go back and get my food replaced with the correct item. she told me that she was sorry and was going to give me a gift card that i could pick up any time. i went in 2 days later and no one knew anything about it. another time they left out an item and we couldn't go back so the wife called and they told her they would put her down for a replacement at her convenience. she tried to redeem it the next day for lunch and the same thing happened. no one knew anything about it.

the place is just poorly run. if it wasn't so close i would never use them, but if they would improve their customer service i would definitely use them more often.

great sandwiches and po-boys!. their sandwiches and po-boys are terrific.

the sandwiches iorderare full of meat. awesome. one po--boy is enough to feed two people, in my opinion.

their salad bar is very good as well.

i keep a jason's deli menu handy. when i don't have time to cook, iorderfrom jason's deli and have the food delivered.
