fantastic jasmine experience

amazing food and even betterservicefrom gio. he provided a warm and friendly atmosphere - we will definitely be returning!

food is well prepared but not exceptional or to remember.serviceis poorly to say the least. whatever we need we have to follow the waiters and have the luck that they come near to stop them. overall overpriced and a place to not comeback.

where to start! my entire jasmine experience was very unpleasant. we chose this restaurant as were looking for cantonese food and this popped up on many of our search results. so we went ahead and made a reservation. even though we had a reservation, when we actually showed up, we were made to wait for a good few minutes before we got to our table. one look at the menu and we realized this place is way expensive than the other restaurants in the resort with much lesser variety. we went ahead and placed an order for dim sum basket and wok fried udon noodles. the basket cost us $28 but came with only 3 dumplings of 3 kinds - like how does one have 3 dumplings between 2 people. lol! we anyway had half of each dumpling and moved on with our shock. a dim sum platter from lemongrass which is around the same price comes with a handsome 15-16 dim sums and tasted much better. anyway, the udon noodles was quite good and the quantity was good too. in between, a lady with a camera came over and offered to click us a picture. thinking this probably s complimentary for all guests, we agreed, little did we know what we were getting into. so she makes us do a couple of standard poses and then we realize that this probably is not complimentary. so we let our hostess know that we are not interested in the pictures but her response is that we have to let her know ourselves - weird!! you have allowed her to entertain your guests and you cannot even inform her. we did not see her for the rest of our dinner, so we assumed she had been informed. we then tried to put the bill on our room number at the mgm and they were unable to do so. they did not even try to resolve the issue and we had to pay at the restaurant thereby losing all those precious points. we left the restaurant quite annoyed at the lack of good customerserviceand started playing the slots nearby and this lady who took our photograph finds us in all this crowd to show us our pictures, we found this very creepy and strange that the staff did not inform her even after we left. and how the heck did she find us!
anyway, all in all, never going back to this place again - neither for the food nor for the experience.

floating island – soft meringue, rice custard, crispy rice, jasmine pearls, chocolate shell, warm caramel. in a city blessed by one of the most underregarded chinatowns in america locals are, perhaps appropriately, rare to consider las vegas boulevard asian eateries for a special occasion meal, but previously having only visited jasmine for the now-discontinued fountains brunch a recent look spurred by the year of the monkey celebration proved that the oft-overlooked destination for foreign tourists remains worthy of its reputation while elevated prices are largely justified by an unmatched view, exotic ingredients and the sort ofservicebefitting clientele with net-worth not infrequently in the millions.

all good but for the entree. great atmosphere andservicewas good. the main entree of kung pao chicken was tough and tasted like it wasn't that fresh. the egg rolls were good. for the price of the entree (~$30.00) just was expecting better.

went to jasmine for a nice weekend lunch and was spoilt for choice with starters!
instead of going for heavy mains, me and my friend just ordered lots of delicious starters to share.
the food is very fresh and authentic and theservicewas amazing, they even packed our leftovers for us and threw in some extra flat-bread.

very lovely, can't wait to go back and tuck into some mains!

the zagat reviews are right on. sorry i didn't read them before i went.
the room is gorgeous, and the view of the fountains is great. the food is good to very good, but no better than a good chinese restaurant in any big city in the country. theservicestarted out slow and went from there to worse. i believe they send their staff home half way through the evening to save money.
having said all that, this is a great place for an event. birthday, anniversary, rehearsal dinner or important customer.
everyone will enjoy the fountains, and be impressed with the peking duck.
i cannot conclude without saying this is the most over priced restaurant i have ever eaten in. $140.00 per person for pretty good chinese food.

where's theservice????. the best french fries i ever had crisp on the outside , tender on the in side. not even a hint of oil. wonderful.
that was the highlight of our dining. my coffee was old.
our greek waiter was too concerned with leaning on the counter than taking care of the diners. water glasses not refiled , coffee only refilled with a request, he never ask if our food was o k , i tried to get his attention several , he looked straight at me and walked in the other direction.
i asked another waiter for help and he was very attentive to our request. i ask our shaven headed waiter for our check and another 10 mins. wasted waiting on him . to say the least the tip went to the young man you took care of us, i have dined here several times , with goodserviceand good food. a nice quite place to sit back and
re-charge before hitting the tables again. i will dine here again , but not with a thankless waiter , there are hundreds of other places that would love to have my business.

i've always relied on the cafe bellagio for good breakfast when i'm in town. i was really disappointed this time though. my fave is the salmon lox bagel: the cream cheese was barely enough for one side of the bagel, and for $15 i would expect another dollop. but it was theservicethat was really unfortunate. i was greeted by a polite but very stoic unsmiling hostess. i waited for 8 minutes to get a glass of water or even acknowledged after i was seated and then another 10 before my order was taken. everyone looked stressed, run off their feet and grouchy. the only saving grace was the size of the side of bacon i ordered...enormous. i will likely try somewhere new next time.

so, so.. after a very late night, we went for a quick bite. the quick bite turned into an 2 hour affair.serviceat 2am wasn't the quickest. the food was so, so. but it was nice having it close by.

great service!. with all of the cut-backs las vegas casino's have gone through, it seems theservicegets worse and worse each time we come down. the only exception we have found is cafe bellagio. the food is good, but theserviceis great.

beautiful restaurant, lovelyserviceand menu. a lovely setting with views of the lagoon. staff is gracious and menu is very, very good.

the ambiance is great however theservicewas poor. the waitress was forgetful and unatentive. many items were forgotten including dinner salads and coffee. ice water was spilled in my plate before i finished my meal. spaghetti bolagnase was salty and the beef was of poor quality. the fish and chips were average at best. we ordered four meals and only one tasted good and was somewhat unique. the salmon dish was overcooked. all in all not a very good dining experience in las vegas.

love this place. everything is good here. their pad thai, chicken curry and pineapple fried rice are excellent, though i like the pineapple fried rice better without the raisins or cashews.serviceis a little bit slow at times but food comes out quickly...overall my favorite thai restaurant. i'm so glad it's close!
