we were in town for a wedding and looked for a place to eat after checking into our hotel. we came here and ordered a lot! ilovethe nigiri sampler. but my dad didn't like the spicy tuna roll. he's half japanese and doesn't like these odd variations. but the food was good and the service was too. just be sure to bring a sweater; it's freezing in here. :)

california roll. i adore this place. having limited funds and an appetite for sushi don't mix very well, so i order california rolls. funny enough, they've become my favorite! at only $3.50 each, it's tough to beat. i've never had a better california roll, especially not for the amazingly low price. iloveit and have it delivered at least once a week.

great food!. if youlovesushi this is the place to go and you can bring your non sushi loving buddies with you because there is something for everyone! so nice inside, the service is great and overall a nice place to eat. i have tried so many things and everything was great. they have such fresh sushi and i also like the fried rice and lobster. everything i have had was great, great menu selection.

really good sushi for sm. ilovejapan latino! before this restaurant opened there was only kobe which was awful. at japan latino the fish is always extremely fresh and the rolls are so yummy and creative. there are always new specials and rolls every time i go in and they are the best combinations of fish and ingredients that i would never have thought of. the owners are super nice too and remember you if you go there often. i really like japan latino for a sushi place in central texas. it has a nice romantic atmosphere and is always a please experience. the only thing is bad location. it is a bit hard to see and find the first time since its right off the interstate.

ilovethis place! we eat here about once a week and had our graduation dinner at japan latino and it was fantastic. i think we will probably end up eating there tonight again.

good sushi!. what a great little find this place was! just off ih-35, the location is odd, but the food is excellent! sushi was really good for san marcos?! way better than hong kong or kobe. everyone should give it a try, i wouldloveto see a local restaurant make it in this town!
