not bad for sushi in sm. it is better than kobe with the only drawback being a bad location and an atmosphere that is bland. i would definitely urge a visit if you are craving sushi and you want something that tastes better than heb's. they also have a grill selection which i have yet to try.

great sushi. homemade soups with every meal. the rolls are fantastic. my favorites are the sex on the beach, pollo loco, spider roll, and tokyo roll

i would definitely return here. especially for the great service!!!! we live in new braunfels where service is subpar so eating at a place that made us feel comfortable was such a good feeling. the sushi was fresh and filling and our plate was fresh and yummy (chicken terryaki, veggies and fried rice)

hmoyer. fantastic food. my favorite place to eat in san marcos. the food is always fresh, delightful and filling. the service is always excellent and the price is just right. our favorite date night spot, happy hour is the best. lunch is also a great deal. you can't go wrong here.

dont allow people to order online when not open plz. ordered online for first time and put in all the information and checked out. only to find out they weren't open that day after waiting an hour

delicious, good presentation, nice staff, professional. we had the shrimp tempura roll (soy wrap, since i can't do seaweed) and it was fabulous. teriyaki beef is great. yakisoba very nice too! my 4 year old was gobbling up the teriyaki beef and fresh veggies! yum! oh, and fried rice is excellent!

we were in town for a wedding and looked for a place to eat after checking into our hotel. we came here and ordered a lot! i love the nigiri sampler. but my dad didn't like the spicy tuna roll. he's half japanese and doesn't like these odd variations. but the food was good and the service was too. just be sure to bring a sweater; it's freezing in here. :)

yum.. we had the shrimp spring rolls, miso soup, onion soup, the high roll(er), and some roll that was a stuffed, fried jalapeno. everything was absolutely delicious and the service was great.

california roll. i adore this place. having limited funds and an appetite for sushi don't mix very well, so i order california rolls. funny enough, they've become my favorite! at only $3.50 each, it's tough to beat. i've never had a better california roll, especially not for the amazingly low price. i love it and have it delivered at least once a week.

wow! great sushi in san marcos! try the ninja roll. also teriyaki chicken and fried rice was exceptional. we will be back!

great food!. if you love sushi this is the place to go and you can bring your non sushi loving buddies with you because there is something for everyone! so nice inside, the service is great and overall a nice place to eat. i have tried so many things and everything was great. they have such fresh sushi and i also like the fried rice and lobster. everything i have had was great, great menu selection.

really good sushi for sm. i love japan latino! before this restaurant opened there was only kobe which was awful. at japan latino the fish is always extremely fresh and the rolls are so yummy and creative. there are always new specials and rolls every time i go in and they are the best combinations of fish and ingredients that i would never have thought of. the owners are super nice too and remember you if you go there often. i really like japan latino for a sushi place in central texas. it has a nice romantic atmosphere and is always a please experience. the only thing is bad location. it is a bit hard to see and find the first time since its right off the interstate.

had 5 rolls all delicious! cucumber paradise really unique; if you dont like crab then the ninja roll good alternative to sex on the beach. tempura banana and plum ice cream are both very good too. :d

the people here are so nice! the free soup is a great starter, and they have a nice selection of delicious rolls. it took people a while to catch on to this place because of the location, but now it gets busy. great happy hour as well!
