you have got to love this restaurant. even though the whole thing is a bit confusing when you enter from the mangroves promenade - we had to search for 5 minutes before we found someone to show us the way to the restaurant. the food is delicious - hereby i mean the food in the asian part of the restaurant. you can literally feel the ingredients, so the restaurant undoubtedly lives up to its name! the service is very gentle, too! the chef came to introduce himself after we were done eating - this had never happened before in abu dhabi and was very much appreciated. we'll be back!

this is a cool breakfast outlet located in the anantara hotel of eastern mangroves. the outside seating here totally does justice to the location!

we went here for breakfast during our stay. this restaurant is only open in the morning, so perhaps they should keep the buffet open till a bit late. we sat outside on a table facing the mangroves and creek. the breakfast spread was good. eggs like you want, yoghurts, fruits, cold cuts of salmon & turkey, assorted breads, thai & chinese variants is just some of the items. my most favorite were the waffles and more so the syrup options to go with it. the service was good too.

i have had better breakfast buffets in terms of spreads, but this one has it's own charm mainly because of the location. do try!

i experienced some good food with ingredients open buffet, the variety is good and most if not all of the items are fresh and tasty. but i have to say it's a bit unorganised, i don't know if that was because i went during ramadan or that it is like that most of the time.
service is great as expected and the price is reasonable
recommended and i would definetly try it again off peak timings

and now they’re experimenting with a limited, exclusive, even almost intimate live sushi experience whereby two couples sit directly at the live sushi station!. close to the natural mangroves, ingredients restaurant is famous for its weekend brunches, where sushi and other live-cooking stations entertain the palates of the fortunate diners – but the sushi station serves as part of the immense buffet – now, instead, the luckiest of the fortunate can actually interact directly with the sushi chefs and enjoy an evening of customized sushi delights made just for you.

i had the brunch today and the selection of food is amazing. staff are very friendly and very allert toward the customers, the view is amazing and the embiance is stunning. you can't get enough of this place of the food sections that covers every appetite. thank you ingredients stuff for being so welcoming and made my experience very special. see you soon.

i went there for buffet lunch. the food is good. i really liked sushis. i will recommend others to try and i will personally will go there again.

we recently had the chance to try their iftar buffet and it was beyond exceptional! they have live cooking and cuisines ranging from japanese, thai, lebanese, indian, grills and salads. everything was finger licking good! they also have an extensive range of desserts. my favorites were the cheesecake, butterscotch pudding, honey cake, brownies, umm ali. the only disappointment was the tea with milk, the red tea provided to us wasn't strong enough. however, i can't deter away the attention from the remainder of the great evening! we are coming back soon!

during my recent stay in anantara, we got a chance to try on the breakfast buffet they serve. and i must say, it was the best breakfast buffet we had till now. it was so elaborate and detailed that it felt like they have taken care of every single individuals choices and preferences to serve on the platter. it was a continental menu with extensive choice of breads, waffles, crepes, french toasts, pancakes, sausages, cakes, cereals, fresh fruit juices and many more. i would surely recommend this place to all the breakfast lovers who like to start their day in a lavish manner😄

we all know anantara so very well located! valet service is fast and smart (someone finally understood that the weather is becoming hot and turned the ac on making the car cold and comfortable).
once inside you notice the beautiful colors of all the sweets, very well displayed, and you say "mmm see you soon sugar ;)"
they have plenty to choose from!
will not talk much about the stations, they have steak/ sushi / mexican / thai / grills and the salads...
i can not talk enough about the steak cuts i've had! just great.
the sushi was sublime
the mexican was bad did not like what they served at all.
the grills are very good as well, had some jumbo shrimps & felt those beasts were going to retaliate biting my head off!
in short, it was war between stations fighting for first place.
finally they had a beautiful live music band of 2.
this is definitely worth the money and definitely a must try. enjoy

we were seated outside, it was a beautiful table location with the dock & mangrove view.
the food diversity was exquisite! from seafood, to live cooking stations, shawarma, roasted duck, pork, steak, mexican food stand, sweets section. all was perfect, food looked delicious, tasted good, and charging plates were generous.
the only drawback (and hence the 4.0 instead of 4.5) we encountered was weak service. we had to remove our finished plates & glasses by ourselves after several attempts at calling several waiters. when we complained, we were politely & apologetically informed that our mishap was due to fewer than usual waiters, and there was simply not enough of them to wait the outside area! not a smart answer for a 5 star hotel charging 326aed per person! but i would visit one more time just to be fair.

last week i was able to enjoy a lovely lunch at the eastern mangroves hotel restaurant, named ingredients. we were a large group of over 40 ladies, since it was a weekday lunch, there were little to no other parties in the restaurant. the staff was kind enough to guide us from our conference room to the ingredients restaurant. once we arrived, i felt like i had to seat myself and no direction was really given on which tables were reserved for our party.

i like almost all restaurants of eastern mangrove because of peace and serenity. it was last dinner to the guest from serbia. we have ordered thai food . they gave us additional menu for other asian meals as well. taste was upto the mark and juice and beverages were also great.

tried the breakfast buffet at this restaurant during our stay at the hotel and were very impressed with the massive spread and the variety of options. they had pretty much everything you can think of .. live cooking stations for eggs, waffles and pancakes, separate counters for arabic, asian and continental breakfast dishes, choice of fresh juices and other beverages and great selection of breads and cheeses. we certainly had a delightful start to our day.
