indigo

indigo was great, i went there with my sister and had a really good time. it had brilliant service. i loved it. it was a good atmosphere and thefoodwas delicious i had butter chicken and a sundae and both were so yum! overall great place to go for a nice meal.

further to my review of january, this restaurant continues to improve from an already high base. they have finished renovations, now expanding to a further room along transvaal. thefoodand coffee are superior. quality ingredients; excellent preparation and plating; and service very attentive. i really like this place. keep it up!

this cafe would have to be one of the best in the eastern suburbs. oh, to own it!! i regularly savour their deliciousfoodand great coffee. the staff are very friendly , and make sure you are well looked after. today, i ordered a super sized bircher muesli and my colleague, sourdough with vegemite. what was nice, was the staff were willing to serve my coffee in takeaway cups so as to preserve the heat better than serving in a cup.

as a local i have breakfast and lunch here often and i've always been happy with the greatfoodand service. they have a big selection and good quality food. the service is usually quite good, the only thing i'd fault them on is that it's a bit pricey but then again they do serve decent portions! would recommend eating here especially on a sunny day sitting outside!

wow, what a fantastic experience and not the usual curry house i am used to! great atmosphere and especially like the fact(i presume) they had created their own winelist without the price being over the top.
thefoodwas fantastic. the samosas are made on site i was told and they were so fresh and tasty. and a great twist on the onion bhajis too. then, the main of lamb jhalfrezee was something i would recommend to anyone. so tender, so good. and the plates were warm!
the presentation of thefoodwas also very creative which left a great impression. we were visiting from christchurch and the meal was so good we went back for lunch the next day!

came from out of town, saw the eating here and thought we’d give it a try. they accommodated us without a booking and boy were we impressed. fantastic service and thefoodwas absolutely top notch - and we eat a lot of indian. recommend highly

was on expensive side for breakfast. had to wait a long time and service was slow.foodquality overall was good but not entirely convinced it is worth the price.

what i love most about this place is that it’s dog friendly and the service is great. however thefoodis not as good as the service. i ordered the salmon cake which tasted great but the portion was so small and the salmon was mixed in with the cake so there was hardly any salmon... for $24 i expected more.

awesome! was told to head here for breakfast from a close friend and boy did it not disappoint. great service, trendy atmosphere & amazingfood- what more could you want?

in conclusion, i won't recommend the place if you have other choices which i am sure you can find plenty in this area. thefoodis good but the service is horrible. the whole time i was there i felt like i have to beg them to serve me. the minute i arrived i stood there waiting to have someone find me a table until i don't think they even noticed me so i walked to one of the waitresses to ask for the seat. ok maybe they were busy so i was happy to let that go. when i sat down, the waitress came to take an order. she was friendly enough with us. i thought ok everything should be better from here. but no. the whole time after thefoodarrived, the waitresses kept squeezing through a small gap to get to the table behind us and bumping all over my friends. i found that pretty rude as clearly there is another way to walk to the table behind us without having to interrupt our eating which i can tell you it was often enough to annoy us. the worst part is when the store manager lady came to set up the table in front of us and want the chairs from the table behind us, they lift the chairs over my friend head while we are eating. i swear the chair was so close to my friend head i felt like it could knock her. and yet no sorry word came out of either of the staffs. if they really need the chairs, why don't they just ask us to move out of a way and quickly move the chairs?? it is so simple. we really had it after that and quickly paid our bill and left. it was such a nice day and will be a good opportunity to chill out and order some more things but i don't think i will ever step in this restaurant again.

i love that you can sit outside, soak up the sun and people watch when you eat at indigo. it’s the perfect spot to hang out on a saturday or sunday if you are in the double bay area. the menu is extensive, catering for those who want comfortfoodand cheat day meals and for those who are health conscious and want, for example, a superfood salad or almond crusted salmon (pictured). #indigo #doublebay

one of the best breakfast cafes in sydney. massive menu - all of which is top shelf. don’t be scare of the lines for tables. the service is great andfoodcomes out rather quick for always being busy. can recommend the pancakes, omelettes, eggs benedict - can recommend it all :)

strolled in here for breaky sunday morning, service was great and thefoodequally as good! ordered a breaky bruschetta, along with a fresh juice and coffee... everything was delicious! a little pricey but overall would definitely return!!

really yummy food. i had the chana masala which was great but perhaps a few too many chickpeas haha. the second time i had the pea rice with sides of aloo gobi and the lentil curry, such a great way to do it if you want to try more than one! also the garlic naan is great. perhaps could look into more eco friendly alternatives to plastic containers? free and promptfooddelivery which is awesome!!

in the heart of double bay , was very easy to get to (and close to the beach!) and thefoodwas such an experience! we got the avocado toast which arrived quickly alongside with the french toast which was completely decked out. it was so fun to eat it and definitely brought out the child with in me! always excited whenever i go to indigo.
