incline public house

bestplaceever. my husband wanted to take me to a surprise restaurant that we had never been to before, and all i can say is how impressed i was with incline public house. we got there around 6 oclock and were seated at the last open table. they had a great beer selection and the set-up/decor of theplacewas super neat. there is a big patio that overlooks the city and we would have chosen to sit out there had it not been a little chilly outside. my husband and i split the margherita pizza and the roast beef and cheddar sandwich... both were awesome (especially if you like pesto, the pizza is the way to go). for the view and the food i was expecting to pay outrageous prices, but thisplaceis not overpriced at all. honestly one of the coolest and best places i have eaten at in cincinnati. eat here!!! just make sure you get here early!

the prices keep relatively reasonable, and even though there is a long wait for theplaceon the weekends, it’s still an experience worth having.

thisplaceis great! super view of the city and really cool eclectic menu! david, our server, couldn't have been better! a "mistake" that we would never have known about turned into an extra beer for us! we had the brisket poutine, meatball pizza, mac & cheese, kale-berry pizza, and the short rib grilled cheese. everything was fantastic! the desserts were great too! (yes, we ate a lot... it was the last day of vacation!)

eating outside, a gorgeous panoramic view, good food, and service with a sense of humor.  these are a few of my favorite things.  just so happens, incline public house has all of these!  i discovered incline last summer and even though there’s usually a wait, here’s what i absolutely adore about this place: you get the most breathtaking view of the city while you enjoy a tasty, casual dinner …nothing too fancy or too pricey. this is a nice change of pace.  often times, restaurants with a view like this are either super stuffy or super costly. now, there is indoor seating at incline public house, and you will get seated faster if you take indoor seating, but thisplaceis all about the view.  don’t give in.  plan on getting a drink and enjoying some good conversation.  there are a couple high top tables and some benches-  it makes the perfectplaceto wait.

greatplaceif you're looking for a change from the ordinary! one of the best views of the city, so take advantage of their huge outdoor patio. had their mushroom pizza as they only serve pizza late night and it was fantastic. only complaint is pizza could've been larger for the cost.

nice addition to the westside. went to the incline house 10/29 with a group of 8. they do not take reservations but we did not have to wait long for a table. my friend and i split the cast iron brie, it was good but a little heavy on raspberry coulis and light on brie for $8. i had the duck blt with fries, it was very good. my friend had the blackened salmon. he like the salmon and spinach but wasn't a fan of the red peper coulis that the fish and spinach sat on top of. i thought it was good, he is just picky when it comes to sauces on his food. everyone else enjoyed there food as well. our server, amanda, was great, friendly and fast and, of course, the view is breathtaking. it would be a great first dateplaceor aplaceto bring out of towners.

one of kind local, great food, friendly staff. i used urbanspoon to find this place, and was not disappointed! just walking up to the restaurant the view hits you of the entire cincinnati skyline. we tried the creole sliders, which were scrumptious, for the first course. then i got the grilled cheese sirloin and my friend ordered a pulled pork sandwich. both of us were very happy with how everything turned out. and the staff was nice and helpful from beginning to end. out-of-towner? this is yourplaceto get introduced to cinci.

shhhh - don't tell - thisplaceis the best kept secret in town!. the incline public house is becoming our favorite hidden gem in cincinnati. i debate between raving about it to friends or keeping it to myself! the view is incredible and the food has always been excellent. i highly recommend the sunday brunch - the omelet with goat cheese is amazing and the hangover cure is my boyfriend's favorite! their mixed specialty drinks are always fresh and if you like bloody mary's the ultimate bloody mary on the brunch menu is a meal in a glass (made with bacon flavored vodka). good rotating craft beers on tap as well.

named after the cincinnati incline that traveled to price hill long ago, the incline public house sits in the same spot as the price hill house that opened in the late 1800’s and closed in the 1930’s. boasting a view that is arguably better than even mt. adams provides, an expansive deck, several taps of local and national craft beers, and a kitchen that has both a smoker and a brick oven, i had to check thisplaceout.   being one of the hot spots in the cincinnati lately, i’d been waiting for a weeknight where both myself and my wife were able to get home at a reasonable time (which means we’ve been trying for two months, basically, to line up our schedules) to miss the large weekend crowds. thinking we had out

thank you to whoever's baby this was. i grew up in the area and have seen mostly negative changes. thisplacehas a great atmosphere, beautiful view of the city, delicious food (thats not all fried bar food), incredible drink selections, good service and convenient location. only negative..... bad acoustics....it gets very loud & noisy inside.

visiting from out of town and thought thisplacelooked like a good choice. it certainly was! the fantastic view, excellent food, and above average service made this a wonderfulplacefor dinner.

greatplacewith an awesome view right next door to prima vista. there's a nice 2 level outdoor patio that will be great in warmer weather. very decent craft brews on tap(locals too), and a good bottle selection too. menu features hand tossed personally sized pizzas, innovative sandwiches and tapas sized appetizers of pretty decent variety. honestly, the prices are very reasonable too.

the history of the location is definitely a draw, as it is on the location of the former price hill incline. i assume that the high ceiling emulates the old incline house. cool lighting, polished concrete floors, it has a "hip/cool/neu" feel. it was about 2/3 the size i thought it would/should be, so there was a decent wait for our party of 6.

overall impression: i liked most of it. food, beer, view, atmosphere, all thumbs up. one weird thing i never thought i'd comment on was the bathroom. very bright and sterile (with a urinal hung by a very short person). with the hip/cool look of the place, the baño looked like a bathroom in a mall or office building. just being honest.

soooo, being the first reviewer, i say go! i rarely go to that part of town, but this is a great spot for dinner and drinks with friends with a really great view. i think it's only been open for a week or so, so any kinks will be worked out. greatplaceto take out of town friends to show off a different view of the cincinnati skyline!
