had the inline public house on my list because it was supposed to have a fabulous view andgoodfood. it did not disappoint on either count. we dropped by for lunch as a storm was rolling in. we chose to eat inside, but there were great outdoor tables under a awning. next time that is where i want to sit. the storm clouded our view at first but it cleared up nicely! ok, on to the food. i had the short rib grilled cheese and a local brew. my daughter had the grippo mac n cheese. my wife had the chop salad. all were well prepared and very tasty. the rib meat or the caramelized onions were a little greasy, but very good. service was friendly and prompt. prices were not overly high, but i felt my sandwich was a little spendy. i will definately be back!

eating outside, a gorgeous panoramic view, goodfood, and service with a sense of humor.  these are a few of my favorite things.  just so happens, incline public house has all of these!  i discovered incline last summer and even though there’s usually a wait, here’s what i absolutely adore about this place: you get the most breathtaking view of the city while you enjoy a tasty, casual dinner …nothing too fancy or too pricey. this is a nice change of pace.  often times, restaurants with a view like this are either super stuffy or super costly. now, there is indoor seating at incline public house, and you will get seated faster if you take indoor seating, but this place is all about the view.  don’t give in.  plan on getting a drink and enjoying somegoodconversation.  there are a couple high top tables and some benches-  it makes the perfect place to wait.

don't order the salmon pizza!. second visit to incline. this time we only waited 45 minutes to be seated.goodbeer and a great view helped with the wait. made the mistake of ordering salmon pizza with capers, not agoodidea. everything else was great! macs n cheese, calamari, cajon egg rolls, fish n chips. service wasgoodconsidering the crowd.

nice addition to the westside. went to the incline house 10/29 with a group of 8. they do not take reservations but we did not have to wait long for a table. my friend and i split the cast iron brie, it wasgoodbut a little heavy on raspberry coulis and light on brie for $8. i had the duck blt with fries, it was very good. my friend had the blackened salmon. he like the salmon and spinach but wasn't a fan of the red peper coulis that the fish and spinach sat on top of. i thought it was good, he is just picky when it comes to sauces on his food. everyone else enjoyed there food as well. our server, amanda, was great, friendly and fast and, of course, the view is breathtaking. it would be a great first date place or a place to bring out of towners.

good beer, goodfood, nasty service.. worst restaurant experience i've had in recent memory. my friend and i showed up early. there was a retirement party happening in the bar area. so my friend and i grabbed a couple of beers at the bar and headed out to the deck. we were there way ahead of the crowdso there were very few people there. we were never approached by the staff so we continued to get our beers on our own. after a few hours and a few beers, we were told by a waitress that we had to leave, there were people waiting for our table. we were a little confused, so we asked if we could at least finish our beers. she said she would ask. a few minutes later, the host showed up and again told us we had to leave. we offered to buy some food (in fact, we were waiting for someone to take our order). she insisted we had to leave the table but offered us a couple of chairs against the wall so we could sit, finish our beers and leave. after a couple minutes against the wall, we were told to move down - we were in the wait staff's way. eventually, the manager showed up, he apologized and offered us a couple of beers. sorry, too late - they already made us feel like a couple of homeless squatters.

i think i’m the last westsider to eat at the incline public house  - i told you all that i was a horrible westsider, didn’t i? but, we, finally, got there, last saturday. i hear that the outside is hoppin’ during the warmer season (of course, lord knows if we’ll ever get to that weather, any time soon!). and, with this view, i can imagine that it’s quite the hot spot, to enjoy some craft beers, goodfood and lively conversation. (please imagine this picture with some sun, in it!) the menu is a lot of fun and i love that it’s simple and compact. (i told you that i get menu add when they’re like a novel) i’m, also, a big fan of the jumbo water bottles – i’m a simple girl (and very easily amused) what to get? what to get? i had a hard time deciding – it was between about 5 things! ugh – the pressure of being a foodie! we all began with and shared a side of fries  (the boys are fry addicts – of course, they consider the crinkle fry, the master of all fries) they weregood– nice and crispy

shhhh - don't tell - this place is the best kept secret in town!. the incline public house is becoming our favorite hidden gem in cincinnati. i debate between raving about it to friends or keeping it to myself! the view is incredible and the food has always been excellent. i highly recommend the sunday brunch - the omelet with goat cheese is amazing and the hangover cure is my boyfriend's favorite! their mixed specialty drinks are always fresh and if you like bloody mary's the ultimate bloody mary on the brunch menu is a meal in a glass (made with bacon flavored vodka).goodrotating craft beers on tap as well.

we'll be back. we are new to cinci and experimenting with new restaurants (for us). incline public house was a great find. the views are incredible, our server was excellent, and the braised short rib grilled cheese with fries out of this world. the craft beer selection was impressive. we will be coming back here for sure to try more items that lookedgoodon the menu.

no large parties. my group and i attempted to eat at incline house tonight after i told everyone howgoodit was and how great the view was. we informed them ahead of time that it would be a large party of about 20 people arriving at 6:30. by 6:30 we had filled all of one table and most of a second one. the manager came out to tell us he would only serve the full table and would not serve the other table. when informed that the few remaining people would be there within 10 minutes, he said he didn't care. he was not going to serve the second table. by this time 17 people of our party of 20 had shown up. all 17 of us got up and went to rio grande in newport who have never had a problem with our large group meetings and who are glad for our business. if you do decide to take a large party there, make sure you wait outside until your entire party arrives.

been twice, loved it. went on a tuesday night at 6pm the first time. it was packed but the turnover was reasonably fast and worth the wait. i was told i could get a first available table (not specified inside or outside) in 35 minutes. met a friend at the bar and a brilliant brunette bartender made some fabulous lemon drop martinis.

we ended up with an outdoor table and ordered the fried calamari. it is rarely my first pick, but the dish was done to perfection. crispy, light, flavorful without the rubbery texture. i would order it again in a heartbeat. we moved on to the w8th st pie. hand-tossed crust with a really kicky pepperoni and sausage toppings. reminded me of homemade pizzas dad used to make.

the next visit was on a thursday night at 8:30pm. we dined inside, and as a result of the hardwood, boisterous crowd, high ceilings and the cement, it was loud. but we had the same view and it was still agoodexperience.

we each had a full caesar salad (the full is a nice size without being too large, the half is truly a side dish portion), and shared a w 8th st pie (asgoodas the first time that i had it), and the house burger. the house burger is not to be missed. it was possibly the best burger i have ever had. juicy, perfectly done, fresh toppings, tall, cheesy, bacon-y goodness. i wasn't crazy about the fries, but that didn't stop me from picking at them as we chatted.

just go knowing that you will wait and plan to enjoy the wait, and get a table outside if weather permits.

great view, great food. we went on a friday night. were told the wait for a table on the patio overlooking the city was an hour but only turned out to be about 15 minutes. the lamb sliders were great. the view is great and the prices are not bad. we'll go back but probably only ingoodweather when we can sit outside. it was much too noisy inside.
