such an incredible japanese restaurant with a huge list of options on their menu. great for birthdays and small catchup with a beautiful interior! i love the sashimi platter we ordered and the entrees and matcha dessert. everything was fresh and tasted amazing with great flavours! they also take bookings online or by phone.

their karaage is my favourite!
soba salad is bit weird taste for me tho but generally so good.

highly recommend to people who loves japanese cuisine!

went here for my birthday and it was a really nice experience. the cocktails were delicious and the overall vibe of the restaurant was really relaxing. initially they sat us outside which i was skeptical about because it was cold but after dark, they close the roof and it was a lot warmer.
the service was ok and the price in my opinion was a bit high hence my rating.

great food, great people, great venue, great everything!. servings are on the small end but quality. just came in for a snack and beer, possibly be back if i wanted to impress someone on a date.

the atmosphere in the store is very good, staff are friendly. they have all the traditional japanese food in the menu, all you will see in other japanese izakaya restaurant as well. i was look forward about maybe they have something different can surprise me...... yes, i found it, the dessert that we ordered.

first time visit with my boyfriend, the atmosphere is good, very relaxed! we ordered salmon salad and tuna tataki, the entree is okay, nothing special. but we really like the beef curry, they have fair portion of beef. the highlight is the sushi roll, we order wagyu roll and volcano roll! impressed by the volcano roll, it tastes amazing!

3.5. came for a weekend lunch and was seated in the lovely outdoors area of the restaurant. had the karaage tori, soft shell crab tempura and wagyu shabu shabu roll which were ok. the volcano roll and small sashimi were delicious and the highlights of the meal. would come back to try more of the sushi and sashimi.

jan 2020: came back again to try the dragon roll, pork belly and sushi sashimi platter. again, very good food although on the expensive side. the matcha cheesecake and chocolate harumaki desserts were ok.

highly recommended place. food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic.
would recommend the $100 sushi/sashimi platter - plenty to go around. the pork belly was also amazing, super tender and flavoursome.

i used to love this place as it is different and easy to book. however the last time i went with other people i was extremely dissatisfied with the experience. the waitress we had rushed us and made us feel nervous about every order we made. we were rushed out of the restaurant even though we were bringing a large amount of money to the restaurant. when we brought this to their attention at the conclusion of our meal, we were dismissed. i will not be returning

my friends and i went here for a birthday. the atmosphere was good. at first they put us in the “cable car”, it’s quite catastrophic in there. the waiter then realised that we did make a booking and moved us to a better outdoor table. we started off with some cocktails, they were all delicious! we ordered quite a lot of food. my highlight was the volcano roll and the wagyu steak. i would probably come back as we had a very enjoyable night. only downfall was that i felt like we were forced out as we were given our bill as soon as we finished eating.

stand out dishes were the ebi mayo prawns and pork baos; everything else was a disappointment!

i have returned to this restaurant many times and enjoyed my visit every time. love the cocktails. my go to dishes are the beef takaki, ebi mayo, tuna takaki & the chef selection sashimi platter.

cool venue with multiple levels including restaurant and rooftop bar. i found the menu a little bit limited but most offerings were appealing. between two we shared the ma hor, the kingfish sashimi, the fried chicken, the duck bao and stir fried greens. the ma hor and the kingfish were amazing. i found that the fried chicken was a bit dry and lacked enough meat. the duck bao were tasty but fairly standard. wine list left a little to be desired (each bottle we ordered was out of stock).

funky japanese restaurant with very cool seating arrangements especially in the fully enclosed courtyard! all the food is super fresh particularly the sashimi and sushi. cocktail menu is also a plus. will be back again
