not to bad. the décor is kinda cool. kind of industrial with wide open spots. very close together seating. my son and i went today to try it and have to say i'm pretty disappointed. we were asked if we wanted the buffet right after we walked in the door. we said probably and i wish we'd said no. the buffet is tiny. 1 station for the food and a tinierplacefor the soups. the food was pretty warm but not much variety at all! i wish i could say we were itching to go back soon but i'd be lying.

best chineseplacein town. i've been coming here since i was a kid, and it has always been top-notch. their buffet is delicious- the house chicken is a favorite of mine. their eggdrop soup is also great. i haven't ordered everything on the menu, but everything sounds delicious. the beef and broccoli is simple, but great; even better paired with the house spicy musterd. in the running for the best restaurant in fayetteville, imo.

best chineseplacein the area!. the best way to eat here is order from the menu and bring a group of friends to share the entrees. it's awesome! love the crispy beef and they have the best crispy tofu too.

this is a greatplaceto get chinese. unlike many other restaraunts of this kind, hunan is very clean with piping hot food!

once a favoriteplacequality has fallen greatly over the past year. last meal was inedible. the smell of the shrimp alone was sickening.

bestplaceever. seriously my favorite chineseplacein the entire world.
my mom used to take me here when i was a kid and i remember it being just as good. i crave it all the time.
all of the servers are so nice. it is priced very well.
and you certainly get what you pay for and more.
unlike most chinese restaurants, they have a small buffet. i find this better because food comes out more often and it is always fresh. i have sat there and watched them snap green beans and cut up fresh broccoli for hours.

tasty and cheap. went for the first time two days ago, because i was really craving chinese food. thisplaceis so tasty and gives out large portions. i was also surprised at how well everything was priced.
i definitely will be back!

hot n sour soup. i can't believe no one has mentioned the hot n sour soup, it's the best i've ever had. when the temp dips below 50 degrees, i drive over and pick up some soup. i love thisplaceso much that i would drive from lowell to fayetteville during my lunch break...it takes 52 minutes, round trip, from jb hunt to hunan and back. i'm a big fan of the kung pao chicken and cashew chicken, extra extra spicy (which they will oblige). my guilty pleasure is their chow mein; crunchy noodles on top of cabbage, mung beans, and celery in a light, white sauce...i doubt this dish pops up on tables in "china proper," but i dig it nonetheless.
i hate it that they're closed on tuesdays, as someone else mentioned.

pretty good!. thisplaceis really good!! only thing is, i always seem to crave chinese on tuesdays and they are closed on tuesdays. other than that i always leave stuffed and happy!

love this place!. greatplaceto eat and great serves too! the menu is great.love their spring rolls too.i would never go anywhere else but this place!

missing thisplaceso badly!. i first ate at hunan manor something like 15 years ago (at the college ave. location) and it remained a favorite until i moved to houston one year ago. the last dinner out that my wife and i had in fayetteville before moving was there. our absolute favorite item on the menu was spicy tangy wontons. apparently no one in texas knows how to make them. i miss the restaurant, the always-friendly wait staff, and those incredibly savory spicy tangy wontons!

general sao chicken.. terrible and salty. a heart attack on a plate! man-o-man where do i start. general soa chicken is supposed to have a nice sweet and slightly spicey red sauce glazed over chunks of tender fried chicken pieces. thisplacehas it all wrong. my wife ordered it, she loves general sao and has had it many times at various resturants from oregon all the way here to arkansas. order general sao at thisplaceand what will come to your table is a pipeing hot platter of jerkyfied over cooked chicken pieces fried in a black soy sauce bath with tons of grease. oh yea, topped with green onions lmao, not sweet or spicey at all, just pure nasty ass salty.... gross... never going back.
