ordered food there once since i just moved into the area from little rock which has a bounty ofgoodchinese restaurants.  the food tasted like what my mom made a s a child when eating chinese food was the new rage and soy sauce was this mysterious condiment.  i believe her recipes came out of a newspaper in albuquerque nm in the 60's.  i think the chef must have subscribed to the same paper.  do not waste your money at this excuse for chinese food.  one star just for surviving this long as a restaurant.

hunan manor is what you would expect from your typical americanized chinese joint, but it seems to be more consistantlygoodthan most in town and the staff is always very polite and attentive. the dumplings this time were surprisingly good, do i detect some anise?

portions are humongous.

great veggie fried rice!! the sweet and sour chicken is verygoodas well. the take out drive through is very convenient. will be back again.

we have been eating at hunan manor since they were on college. they always had the best food around. we've stayed loyal and eat at their new location even though it's all the way across town. we always order house special chicken and cashew chicken. we ordered yesterday and pulled through for pick up, as usual. we got home and the two of us eating house chicken looked at each other and said, "this isn'tgoodlike it used to be."  the other person eating cashew chicken said, "this is terrible! i can't eat it." one of us tried the cashew chicken later thinking it just needed to be doctored up a bit. it was absolutely horrible! we will never eat at hunan manor again. don't waste your money! at $25 for three takeout dishes, you might as well flush your money down the toilet.

our favorite nwa chinese restaurant, well worth the 20 mile drive from rogers.goodfood and service with large portions. try the crispy beef, you'll be hooked.

this place is amazing! it is beautifully decorated, you feel like you are in a place that costs 5x the price! the food is great and presented so beautifully. wonderful wait staff! so friendly andgoodlooking guys too! :p

lack luster for sure. saying that hunan manor is the best chinese food in fayetteville isn't saying much, considering there is nogoodchinese food in fayetteville. it's a tolerable restaurant, but it's not something i would consider "good." i have tried many things on the menu in hopes that i would finally find something tasty, but so far i have failed. if you want chinese food, drive over to mission and crossover and go eat at that one. it's better, but still not amazing.

def. not overpriced....and great food!. i don't always take what i read in consideration. i have read some really bad reviews on this place. i know you cant please everyone and someone will always have something negative to say no matter how hard you try but i was shocked by some of these reviews. i've ate here for years and i usally don't opt for buffet just for the simple fact i like fresh hot food. the buffet isgoodthough. with that being said..we always enjoy this place and overpriced? noway....it's one of the most reasonable places we eat. wow... just please go try it for yourself...if you dont like it then just dont go back...but give everything one chance.

go with a group!. the first time my husband and i stopped in we each got one of their meals…where you get tea, soup, side item, and large entrée on a plate, enough to share. if you can get agoodsized group together and want to sample lots of different things this is definitely the way to go. or if you just really like one dish it also works out well. we had lots to take home and we have enjoyed going back. every time the service is great, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the food is fresh and fast.

yummo!!. this is by far my most favorite asian place in fayetteville to eat. the lunch buffet is small but everything is sogoodon it that it doesn't matter. the service is great and the prices are the same as every other "chinese" buffet in town... but this has all them beat by a long shot!

best chinese food in town. just my opinion, though. :) the buffet is small but hasgoodoptions. besides, we can't make than 2 rounds through it anyway! the house special chicken has to be horribly fattening but it is spicy and delicious- my favorite. they haven't had crab rangoon and that is about the only negative thing that i could possibly say about hunan manor.
