lack luster for sure. saying that hunan manor is the best chinese food in fayetteville isn't saying much, considering there is no good chinese food in fayetteville. it's a tolerable restaurant, but it's not something i would consider "good." i have tried many things on the menu in hopes that i would finally find something tasty, but so far i have failed. if you want chinese food, drive over to mission and crossover and go eat at that one. it's better, but still not amazing.

best chinese food in fayetteville. i always order off the menu because i don't like buffets, so i can't speak for hunan manor's buffet. the staff is friendly and the atmosphere helps you forget you are in arkansas. arkansas is great, but it's nice to have a break from all the razorback stuff sometimes. anyhow, try the crab rangoon and the crispy bean curd. all their tofu dishes are great! cheers.

so- i live huban's food we have been going there for 10 years but, today, we had such a bad experience that we left. we were ignored, forgotten, and they wanted to charge us full price for the 4 year old? we even asked...we left and spent our money somewhere else..

odd taste. i don't know if this is just me, but everything i've ever had at hunan manor tastes like...sanitizer solution. or something weird and chemically. that seems to pale out all the other flavors in all the dishes i've tried there. it also makes everything taste the same to me, which is sweet, salty, and - of course - chemically. i'm not sure what it is that makes everything taste that way, but it definitely keeps me from wanting to go there.

general sao chicken.. terrible and salty. a heart attack on a plate! man-o-man where do i start. general soa chicken is supposed to have a nice sweet and slightly spicey red sauce glazed over chunks of tender fried chicken pieces. this place has it all wrong. my wife ordered it, she loves general sao and has had it many times at various resturants from oregon all the way here to arkansas. order general sao at this place and what will come to your table is a pipeing hot platter of jerkyfied over cooked chicken pieces fried in a black soy sauce bath with tons of grease. oh yea, topped with green onions lmao, not sweet or spicey at all, just pure nasty ass salty.... gross... never going back.

def. not overpriced....and great food!. i don't always take what i read in consideration. i have read some really bad reviews on this place. i know you cant please everyone and someone will always have something negative to say no matter how hard you try but i was shocked by some of these reviews. i've ate here for years and i usally don't opt for buffet just for the simple fact i like fresh hot food. the buffet is good though. with that being said..we always enjoy this place and overpriced? noway....it's one of the most reasonable places we eat. wow... just please go try it for yourself...if you dont like it then just dont go back...but give everything one chance.

you can’t go wrong with the house special chicken or the lemon chicken, both dishes feature chunks of lightly battered breast meat with unique sauces with flavors that are addicting.

great alternative to the "mega bufftet". fresh, friendly, fast, hunan manor is great for lunch or dinner. must try the hot crispy beef, house special chicken, lemon chicken.

not that great. i purchased the lo mein, and it seemed too strong in a certain flavor. this was the second time that i had a strange flavor to it. probably will not go back.

3 words: house-special-chicken. this is quite simply the paradigm of saucy fried chicken. and get this, they have it on their lunch buffet too! service is also among the best in fayetteville.

go with a group!. the first time my husband and i stopped in we each got one of their meals…where you get tea, soup, side item, and large entrée on a plate, enough to share. if you can get a good sized group together and want to sample lots of different things this is definitely the way to go. or if you just really like one dish it also works out well. we had lots to take home and we have enjoyed going back. every time the service is great, the atmosphere is wonderful, and the food is fresh and fast.

eh.... i eat here because it's by my house, and it's quick, but i don't really like it. it's pretty sad as far as food goes, and it's kinda overpriced. especially gross when they give you a container of super old rice...

gotta love it. i have been eating at hunan manor since well before they switched locations, and i love it. i can't say it is the best chinese food i've ever had, but it is definitely my favorite in the area. there are some specific dishes i enjoy more than most, however: the spicy tangy won ton appetizer is the one thing i always get...i've never found anything like it anywhere else. i enjoy their general tso's chicken and their egg foo yung, but my favorite is probably the crispy beef...thin slivers of beef fried up in a light batter till pleasantly crispy. it is delicious.

i hope you give hunan manor a shot...they serve great food and the owners are some very genuinely nice people who try to make everyone's experience a happy one.
