it's ok.... this place gets a "like" vote because it's ok. it's over-the-top, in your face "1980's lunches" like where you'd expect to see gordon gecko on wall street.

the long and drawn out process of getting a meal is made more ridiculous with the whole process of mixing your salad at your table. yawn. old.

not worth the rip-off prices. it is vegas, afterall.

...the tableside whole duckling a showstopper gathering looks from around the room while the wellington rivaled that at ramsay steak beneath a pile of mushrooms and foie gras. truly a class act it was prior to desserts-proper that a trio of chocolate dipped fruits arrived to be dressed in hand-whipped cream...

went here for my wife's birthday with a group of eight. from the drinks to the salads made at the table, to the prime rib, everything was outstanding. the service was great as usual. it never disappoints. one of las vegas' hidden gems.

a very disappointing visit for a repeat guest of 30 years.  we arrived on time for our 6:30 reservation and i let the hostess know that the reservation was on open table under rick, lee, or leroy.

the hostess replied that no such reservation was made. i showed her the open table  confirmation on my phone and she said it was not submitted, but a table would be available at 7:30, which we took.

meanwhile, open table  contacted me stating that i had not honored my reservation. i responded with a summary of the events. when we went back, i showed the hostess the email exchange. she said she didn't know i was the rick on the reservation, as she had three other ricks... sure.

best part of the meal: the salad cart.  the steaks were bland, only mashers and fingerling potatoes, no baked.  a bland assortment of mixed vegetables. 

after our order,, the waiter all but disappeared. we were served by bussers and helpers. the waiter didn't even show to present the bill.

no apologies, nothing. a table in a corner with a waiter who served us at his convenience.  not worth it.

hugo's was recommended to us by the doorman at golden nugget as vic and anthony's was booked up. the host found us a table despite being quite busy! definitely an old school steak house! the meal began with assorted rolls and bread. the salad was mixed at your table individually giving each person a choice of their toppings! a nice lemon sorbet cone to clean our palate's. then the main course! two had prime rib, one filet mignon and one had tart cherry chicken! all were excellent! a nice dessert plate of dipped strawberries, figs and apricot! great service, taste and quality!

hugo's cellar is located in old vegas in a hotel named four queens. once you enter the hotel casino you walk towards the back right and walk down a set of stairs to an old tavern feel restaurant. if you are with a lady, she will receive a rose. an excellent wine list with a table side salad selection. high-end prices with a slightly above average meals.

hugo's is always fabulous but in a very traditional way. one feels as if frankie and sammy might be dining in the next booth. lobster bisque and beef wellington are still served here and most excellent. not trendy nor inexpensive, just real fine dining.

don't get thrown off by its location in the 4 queens! this restaurant is beautiful and classy. truly a throwback to a bygone era. old school vegas at its best. each woman is handed a long stemmed rose by the maître d. once you are seated, the service is beyond reproach. i have never had better wine service at any restaurant in the world. the sommelier is knowledgeable, personable and makes the experience great. the food is wonderful. old school steakhouse with table side salad service. have never had anything short of an excellent meal. highly recommended!

downtown and want an original classic 'fine dinning' dinner.  this is the spot for the hand made salad spinner "table-side", classic steaks, or the banana foster and cherrie jubilee "table-side" deserts.

when i think of fremont street, the last thing that comes to mind is fine dining.  now don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of great places to eat in downtown las vegas, but they tend to skew more to the casual side.  however, after a recommendation from one of my boyfriend’s coworkers, we ventured down to hugo’s cellar, a hidden gem in the four queens hotel.

all we can say is wow. we have eaten at a few other steakhouses on the strip, but nothing had the character of hugo's! our waiter has been working here for over 30 years. each lady is greeted with a red rose. the salad is made table side and it is impeccable. we all ordered steaks and they were cooked to perfection! i highly recommend hugo's!

exceptional meal!. i do not normally review restaurants, but we had such an amazing meal at hugo's i just had to! service and staff was amazing, timing was perfect. but the food.... it was exceptional!! i cannot wait to go back. this is now a yearly vacation stop!

took my daughter here for her first seven-course meal, and hugo's delivered in a grand way. our meal was fantastic. salad very fresh, main course outstanding, and the bananas foster served over vanilla bean ice cream was a delectable finishing touch. great meal and dining experience.

the first time.... i ate here it was the best ribeye i had ever eaten. the second time it was better. some of the best food i've ever had and the staff is great too! my absolute favorite restaurant.
