disaster. ordered 2 chicken breyani , 2 lamb breyani , 2 lamb curry and 2 chicken and ate on saturday night.

no frills no fuss curry place on the busy florida road. the lamb chips and cheese roti is massive (even the regular) and so yums. i literally make a turn here every time i’m in the area.

ordered a beef roti today. full of potatoes, tasteless and dry. after eating here for years won't be back.

i have always enjoyed their chicken rotis and recommended them to all my friends.

all good things come to an end.

confirming what everyone has been told... this place has the best roti wraps!

service is pretty good and fast. prices are reasonable. located in a lively, trendy area.

great spicy food with lots of flavor. one of the best chicken samosas i have ever had. could have done with some naan though. the durban curry was absolutely fantastic

on our recent trip to durban we wanted some bunnies. now i have been to hoc a few times and i’ve never been disappointed.......till yesterday

we wanted some take always so we stopped and ordered.

bean bunny - we never received this and my vegetarian daughter didn’t eat
chips and cheese roti - bland and flavorless
chicken bunny - this was actually the best tasting of them all
beef bunny - i found it to be hot, but bland. the potato’s were good
lamb roti - this is a house favorite and i can see why. it was full of flavor and tasted amazing.

service......the lady at the counter was more interested in her phone than in the customer, no wonder she got the order wrong. next time i will have to double check my orders myself before driving off.

the house of curries, located on florida street, does all kinds of indian food but is noted for its rotis. i had a regular size veg roti and it was more than enough for one person. i am told that the lamb rotis are especially good. this is also a great place to relax with a cold beer of your choice

never had a complaint here. the curry is some of the best i’ve had around — big portions and always delicious.
certainly no shortage of flavour. a nice casual place for a beer and a bunny.

the food is okay, the portions are massive but the curry is a bit bland however the atmosphere is always great and the drinks aren’t badly priced.

watered down curry, pretty bland and tasteless.
if i tasted curry for the 1st time in my life, i would never want to eat it again.
got a take away and went home to find the incorrect order. decided to take a bite anyway, was really not worth it.

although the food is good, the menu on zomato and they didn't care that the prices are different. they say there is nothing they can do to change the prices.

my boyfriend and i shared the large chicken, chip and cheese roti wrap and to say it's value for money would be an understatement. it is huge! the taste of it is average, nothing spectacular but for the quantity and price, i'm really impressed. we could barely move after finishing it, 3 people could share it!

visited this slightly eclectic place with some work colleagues as we had a hunger for a curry.

the menu was a little limited in terms of indian food would have really loved some naan but alas.

we had a starter of samoosas which went down beautifully. i had the lamb roti regular but was massive and they still had a large (which is for sharing we were told later). colleagues had bunny chow which were they raced about.

the drinks were okay.

it’s a place to visit with some friends looking for drinks and a hearty meal.

lovely service, decent atmosphere, below average food.

from the bunny chow to the biryani, it all fell flat. there was heat but no flavor. wouldn't suggest it to anyone.
