this was a lot offoodfor four people but we enjoyed it! the service was quite good that night (i guess it can be hit or miss with the attentiveness) and thefoodwas flavorful and well cooked. the prices were reasonable and i’m sure the husband and i’ll be back again in the future!

pros and cons.. we have been there twice. once as a group of 4 and once as a group of 2.
pros - 1) thefoodis very good. 2) the service is fast (not to imply it is good).
cons - 1) with the group of 4 we ordered 2 bbq dishes, a soup, and a pancake and were told by the waitress "no. it is dinner. 3 bbq dishes." with the group of 2 we ordered 1 bbq dish and 2 bowls of rice and were told by the manager taking our order "no. 2 bbq dishes." when i said "no. 1 bbq dish" we were told "ok for lunch. not for dinner. if you come for dinner you must order 2." this con makes diners feel really comfortable? no. they want money - plain and simple. 2) anything you ask for that takes time, like more napkins, gets a smirk as in "no time."
in summary, thefoodis good and comes quickly but the orders to the workers are sell the "correct" amount or the customer isn't worth our time.

always a good experience here. the prices are a bit high but thefoodquality is really great. i like the pork belly and marinated pork. their mandu (dumplings) are some of the best in the area. i wish they would refill banchan and tea without asking.

my experience here has been great so far! honeypig is open 24hours. good for late nightfoodtrip. i always order the spicy pork belly. its cooked right in front of u, server lets you know when its ready to dig in. i also order seafood pancakes, this is the best pancakes so far. servers are nice and pleasant. it gets busy during dinner time and weekends. i go around 12mn and service is stil wonderful.

perfect timing. was in town for a film shoot and wanted some late nightfoodso we went to double t, which was closing early (on a friday night? wtf!) so we stood in the lot debating where to go when we saw honey pig.

it was everything i wanted and more. loved the bulgogi and spicy pork belly.

my wife lived in korea for a year so i took her there and she loved it. its just like stepping into a restaurant in osan. great food, open 24hrs and not expensive. love it!

so, what do i expect those of you who read this to do with this information? well, whatever you like. there's a very good chance that your visit will be nothing but good times. as i mentioned in the e-mail thefoodwas good and the restaurant experience itself was very fun. however, if you happen to have something disagreeable take place during your visit be aware that you will most likely be summarily dismissed and that they will do next to nothing to make sure you leave there feeling like they cared about your business.

excellent. best koreanfoodi've had outside of korea. i would say that bulgogi is even better at honey pig. very reasonable prices, and of course soju.

i have to say this place is about 75% success for me. i've been here about 5 or 6 times. the atmosphere can suck a bit, but i'm also willing to say that i've came the wrong time of day every time. the upside to the hours of this place is that it's open 24 hours. can't beat that! you get more than enough to eat here every time you walk through the door. my wife (she's korean) does all the ordering, and it varies all the time. it seems that everytime i've come here, i've had sucky seats (twice by a trash can in corner under a very loud speaker, once at a table in the middle of incoming traffic, another time in the room off to the left of the entrance where it was freezing....). also, going here when it's really busy means pretty terrible service, and the last time thefoodwas actually pretty substandard. you have to time this place right if you want to enjoy it.

honey pig is a fantastic korean bbq close to baltimore, md. it's apparently a small chain, even though it doesn't appear to be. it's setup as a classic korean bbq place, with gas heating elements built into the center of each table to cook the meat on right in front of you. korean hibachi, of sorts, but with the rest of the table also a beaten stainless steel, giving it a sort of post modern look. each dish is a different cut of meat, usually from either beef or pork - ranging from boneless short ribs (galbi) to pork bellies. besides that, we had also ordered the classic bulgogi, translated as "fire meat." two of some of mans' favorite words, if i may say. glass noodles with soy sauce and vegetables, some soups, steamed poached eggs, and the classic sets of korean picked appetizers were also included. more than enoughfoodto kee

overcooked!. i ordered an octopus dish, and it was so overcooked and so fishy tasting i couldn't eat it. it was like chewing on a tire. we tried to turn the cooker off because we knew ourfoodwas going to be overcooked, but a waitress ran over, told us to stop, and just stirred the food, leaving it on there for another five minutes before they dished it out. probably one of the worst meals i've ever had. i want to go back but i found better korean places nearby, where they take the time to explain how the meal works if it is your first time there.
