this is one of my two favorite brunch places in louisville and it’s the only one out of my two favorites that has retained their brunch menu during this pandemic and is my go to for take out on sundays for brunch. all of the food is delicious (i think i’ve tried most of the brunch menu if not all). i’ve dined in before pandemic and everything was great, excellent service. the take out has been excellent so far. everything was accurate, fresh, and high quality. i haven’t eaten their dinner yet but i have heard great things.

another new-age religion..... ...and i'm a convert

various very interesting brews that aren't to be found elsewhere, and some truly inspired menu items...all in the confines of a 19th c church (we were in the choir loft) made this a rather soul-lifting experience. the fellow manning the bar where the organ had once been expounded on the role of beer in the catholic church in centuries past.

another excellent and unique l'ville gem. check it out.

the food is great but the service is rude. they are always acting like they're doing you a favor by getting you what you're paying for. if you don't mind people treating you like you're bothering them then it's worth it!

had a nice, cozy atmostphere very secluded, quite and private on the back patio. if you're into a wide variety of beer and food i highly recommend it. limited food menu, but very delicious

overpriced for mediocre food.

i really like this place. fries and sauces are so good. 🔥 🔥 🔥 only complaint i have is that they dropped their wings off their menu.they were my favorite. pork belly sliders are yummy too.

this place has a great vibe and wonderful selection of beers, the problem is the staff is rude and not customer focused- i waited for 15 minutes to be served at the bar while personal favorites were served ahead of me.  beer was then warm to mildly cool temperature.  someone needs to do some serious customer service management and look at the cooling on the beers - at these prices its not a pleasant experience.

i'm pretty sure i just had the best burger i've ever eaten! visited with a friend for lunch and tried their 3d valley farm burger--unbelievable (even though it was delivered to the table close to well-done when i ordered medium). expensive at $15 (with no sides) but worth every penny. the place itself is small but pretty cool. wait staff will suggest beer to match the food. very nice outdoor patio area that they share with their sister place, gralehaus.

we practically live here. we consider the bar tenders our friends as we know them all by name and they know us. we never have to look for a beer we might like because they know what we like so we just ask them "what do you have for me tonight?" nail on the head pretty much every time. the food is to die for. it's got the pub food feel with a gourmet taste & presentation. the eclectic specials are always yummy and the frites are known around town, as is the burger. one of my personal favorites is the dill pickle soup. ok so the green salad with goat cheese, candied pecans and apple cider vinaigrette is right up there also. wait! the mussels are yummy and my hubby loves the thai spiced chicken wings when they have them on the menu. the ambiance takes the cake. as a pastor it is very cool to go to church to drink beer and hang with my favorite bar tenders in the city! we went to the new years eve 7 course beer pairing event this year and had so much fun! we will be celebrating 2017 with the crew next dec 31st for sure!

the building this restaurant is located in is incredibly eclectic as it is an old church. the brews are good but i would consider the food very overpriced and different. not a place to take a picky eater or someone on a budget. definitely a great spot to grab a drink and play catch up with an old friend.

the burger is the best burger i've had period. there's other places in town that claim to have the best burger. thg only has one burger and i promise it whips them all... badly. it's ridiculously priced but i still get it. how on earth someone can justify charging $14 bucks for a burger i have no idea. i guess i'm the idiot though because i keep going. 🔥💰
i must also add that i don't like places that don't make it perfectly clear where to order or what to do. if you've never been there everyone will know it but no one will tell you what to do. give peas a chance!! table service upstairs i guess??

burger-outta this world on taste, quality, and price

beer cheese & pretzel - amazingly delicious

frites (steak fries in my neck of the woods) - hot, made to order, and extremely delicious.. one question.. can i just have some ketchup with my curry style please? yes, i know what a frite is. i also know i'm in america.

wings - did not do it for me. whole wings? nah

they also have an ever changing craft beer selection that most of my beer snob friends love. if you're that person you'll love the beer too.

it's small, cramped, confusing, sports a gravel patio, buys locally sourced food, has a wide selection of craft beers, employs several dudes with beards, chicks with tats, and you may see a few knit caps but make no mistake, the food is very very very good and you should go. you won't fit in but who cares?
