went for a drink with office colleagues in happy hours. although we generally went to some otherpubbut it was near to home and highly recommended by one of our office friends. so, i’ll start with my first impression as soon as i enters in the pub. it feels like i entered in some gothic club which i really like. ambience was quiet casual and perfect for when you go for drinks with friends. they offer variety of beers but few common beers were missing. but their food options were limited and they haven’t had chicken wings which was quiet surprising.
but still we had great time there and we love to come again.

very good forpubfood. my husband and i each started with a beer. they have a good selection. we shared the gravy fries which were delicious and smothered in cheese. then, it was brunch time so i had the eggs florentine and my husband had the brisket hash. it was all good except i didn't care for the homemade hashbrowns which were chunks of potato. then we ended with the icebox pie which was amazing. it was super rich and chocolates with baileys in the whip cream topping and pecans on top. i highly recommend it.

brew ha. looking for great food and beer to match, this is the place. great selection of beers and super food to to go with what ever style of brew you like. the braised pork sliders make my day. the food is creative, not just a bar grill. i enjoy stouts and there are several to choose from. if you enjoy discussing craft beers the staff has plenty of cool trivia and facts. the atmosphere is kicked back, and what apubshould feel like. so if you can't be in durango colorado and your stuck in texas this is the place for you. i dare say even worth the drive to plano.

disappointed.. we always wanted to go to the holy grailpuband they advertise that they have the bestpubfood. the place is very small so we sat outside, but the service was slow and we both ordered a hamburger cooked medium but they came very well done and neither of us could eat them. we were very disappointed with the food and won't be back.

i'm an ex pat from the uk, who makes regularly visits dallas area pubs (idle rich, londoner, thepubetc). the food at the grail is ahead of the other pubs. i was impressed that speckled hen was available on draft.

tonight was my first night at the holy grail. i really enjoyed the wide variety of beer. milton and jason both seemed very knowledgeable about the beer selection. i was intrigued with their beer collaboration they had going on today. i took a glance at the menu, and will definitely be back to enjoy some upscalepubfood. thanks for the great experience and welcoming a new face!!

what a pleasant surprise! i walked in to the holy grail expecting a typical "pub" with genericpubfood for the menu. not so! the food selections are, for the most part, typicalpubitems - fish and chips, meat loaf, burgers, etc. we ordered the hummus appetizer, the gravy fries, the meat loaf, and the monte cristi sandwich. all items were well prepared, and delicious! the monte christo (basically a toasted ham and cheese sandwich, deep fried, served with a blackberry jam, and dusted with powdered sugar) was like christmas in my mouth! i could see myself going here many times! first to sample the huge selection of bottled and draft beers, and again to nurse the hangover with the bestpubfood around!

first class pub!. during a recent night out, we forayed to the holy grailpubfor our first time.
dim lighting, soccer game on the television in the corner, large wood tables, and a duo performing a variety of folk/rock on acoustic guitar.
the beer list was impressive and sophisticated, and i was pleasantly surprised to see bottles of dogfish head 120 and even a flemish sour (duchesse de burgogne) on draft!
the crowd picked up as the evening drew on, but it was a civil group - no obnoxious, screaming drunks.
we were fortunate to meet the owner that night... brian was very pleasant and extremely knowledgable as we discussed interesting beers with him.
the food was moderately priced, around $12 for a large plate of very good fish and chips. the burger looked delicious, and i look forward to sampling other items in future trips.
the grail hosts a monthly food/beer pairing with a full course meal and a beer-theme.
they're open late (2am) and serve weekend brunch, too.
will definitely be returning often.

awesome burgers. we tried the holy grailpubfor the first time last week. the atmosphere is the standard dark-wood and high-backed booths you see in traditional pubs. the menu has some diverse and reasonably-priced items. i had the house burger with smoked cheddar cheese and it was phenomenal. they mix ground pork in with the beef to make a super tender and flavorful burger. the fries were homemade and really good. our server recommended some beers that i didn't end up liking much (arrogant bastard was one) - plus they were expensive, around $6-8 for import drafts. for dessert we had a neat coffee-flavored cream with tiny homemade fried donuts - delicious! i'll definitely go back for the food and just drink a beer i'm more familiar with.
