i have been going to yogost and enjoy a purple rice yogourt.
i witnessed multiple times, the female staff who served me touched the inside of the cup. i had to mention it to a girl there once and told her not to do so nicely - i waited for the moment none is around. but she did not take it well and never apologised. i went to yogost queen street shop and saw your staff still doing so. i did not want to care much up until today. the girl who served us 2:03 pm today, 5 feb 2021 at the queen street shop, she wore a mask and touched her tablet with her fingers entering something. when i ordered, she put her fingers inside the cup to take cups from the pile and gave them to another staff inside. i did not want to make a scene in front of many people there. i realised that this business does not have agoodpractice. considering covid-19 is coming back, and we talk about social distancing, i can not take it any more.

if the owner is reading this, please do change your entire process.

those who are reading this review, when you go there and order your favourites see what the staff is doing - i think you will know that they do touch inside of the cup with their filthy fingers.

even if you installed your cctv, you may not capture how your front staff handles the cups. or perhaps from now on you should install your cctv from the angle to capture how the front staff handles the cups.

although i respect you trust your staff, she may not even know she had been doing it. it is because your staff were never trained about it and have been doing it for so long without realising!

since this review affects your business negatively, to be fair with you, i will ask my friends to visit your shop this & next week to see whether this practice is changed.

if it is changed i will change my review or even remove including my google review. i promise it!

perhaps you should test your front staff with people you hire to try drinks at your shop to see how it is being handled.

i have no intention to damage your business but knew i had no other ways to stop it.

i love your product but i can not possibly buy it from your store any more due to this practice so please you must train your young staff right now to make sure it will never happen again. put the procedure and cautionary action in place. so i can go back and keep enjoying my drinks there!

therefore please do not try to find ways to conceal it or intimidate me.

i trust other people who read this review will watch how your staff touch the cups too.

please this is a serious matter especially under covid-19. thank you for your attention in this matter.

the one star is only for the yoghurt drink as it is the onlygoodthing from this store :)
as you can see from the order page, "purple rice topping" is clearly stated that it is included in the drink. so as a normal person, you would assume that this drink includes purple rice. however, this is not the case, the purple rice costs an extra $1 which is perfectly fine, but it is not stated there. when my drink came without the purple rice, i walked from a far distance in the hope of an addition to the original drink i purchased, i did not even request a new drink as their menu promised purple rice.
if you weren't going to make your menu clear, at least have clear communication to advise customers on how you are selling your products. no one informed me of anything that's why i assumed there would be purple rice in there as it was stated. on top of that, i received a terrible response with a dismissive attitude. there was no attempt to clarifying the issue that i presented and i felt brushed off. as a consumer who is paying $12.80 for a 400ml drink, the least i could expect is an apology.

purple rice yogurt is pretty good, service nice friendly, but waiting lane always long. prettygoodchoice when you feel hungry, it's like a bowl of porridge lol

i went for the dango soymilk 🍡 & rice coco 🥥 and they were soooo good! they are actually pretty foamy but because i had to takeaway, by the time i got home the foam was gone 😞 but omg my favorite was the dango soymilk (and i am normally super picky with soy milk) - the dango was chewy and perfect when dipped into the slightly sweetened & nutty milk 🥛 legit so in love 💓💓 the rice coco was also very creamy, and even though i’m not a coconut fan, i must say this one was pretty yummy 😋 i went when they just introduced these new winter drinks so got 30% off - such agooddeal ✨ the staff was super accommodating and explained everything to me nicely. i mean i’ve always loved their purple rice yogurt drinks and have been a regular for that but after this experience i’m even more in love with them 😊

new drink shop in town, they still have bubble with yoghurt instead of milk. i like their brown sugar pearl yogost. and thegoodnews you can get 15% discount with special gold promotion

possibly worst staff i've ever met. they are more engaged in talking to each other, gossiping etc, rather than serving customers. first time i went i had to (i kid you not) 5 minutes for the cashier to stop talking to her coworkers before she served me. second time instead of warning me previously i tried to order but agood5 items in the menu were out. please inform the consumers before we hope and get disappointed

it taste exactly like normal yogurt you can buy in the supermarket in nz. the portion size is not wroth the price of the yogurt. from manygoodreviews i felt like i got scam, pretty disappointed :(

the strawberry lemon drop taste sogoodand refreshing! the reason for 4 points is we also tried their top 1 ,the yogurt and rice one, but my boyfriend and i had a stomachache all night, the rice in the yogurt was too difficult to digest.

tried the purple rice yogurt and brown pearl yogurt - both tastegoodand fresh. they’re not too sweet as well; def will be back and try another flavour

tried this on friday night because they had a free purple rice yoghurt drink meal on wechat. the combination tasted surprisinglygoodbut like everyone else has said, it can be made easily by yourself at home and the price is not too worth (most milk tea stores, i guess). but overall, the drink was really enjoyable. queue was actually quite long but understandable because of the free drink deal.

first time ever trying this purple rice yoghurt drink and i can see what the hype is all about. the combination of the refreshing yoghurt with the chewy purple rice leaves an interesting (and personally) quite nice taste in your mouth. considering the portion given, i feel 7.80 is a little bit steep but other than that, service wasgoodand the drink was yummy!

i do love the yogurt drinks but their consistency is weird. sometimes the yogurt will be pretty thick and sometimes it’s watery. sometimes i run out of rice pretty quickly and sometimes i have heaps left at the end. most of the time it’s prettygoodthough.

i usually just get the classic purple rice yogurt drink since it’s simple and good. a little pricy for what it is but worth it. have been meaning to try some of their other drinks for a while but its hard to bring myself to pay more than $10 for one drink.

staff is usually pretty friendly, wait time isn’t too bad but could be faster. one thing is that they don’t seem to prepare drinks in any kind of order. a few times i see people that ordered after me getting their drinks before me when we ordered the same thing, and not even like one or two people after but once people 10 numbers after me got theirs first. i thought they had forgotten my order for a while.

everyone was posting their 1+1 yoghurt drink and that made me want to try also. (there is no more 1+1 deal anymore) went there at 9pm and still there was a big queue lining up. got the 3 drinks under sweet honey yoghurt (orange sunrise was a typo there, that should be all that jasmine) and the classic purple rice yoghurt.
first sip was weird because my brain couldn’t process the fact that there was rice in the yoghurt drink but it was surprisingly alright. the rose one had a strong rose smell which i personally like but my friend said it tasted like drinking rose infuser🤦🏻‍♀️ the two jasmine drinks had really nice jasmine smell also but the all the jasmine had a weaker jasmine smell. classic drink was just yoghurt drink with purple rice without flower smell but i personally like all 4 of them:)
tbh i think if it wasn’t 1+1 deal, it would be too pricey but people will probably get full after drinking it because there is carbs inside😅
the seal seems to be in verygoodquality so no need to worry about failing to poke the drink with the straw.

𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐠𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐭($7.8) : i have sky high expectation for these as i loveee purple rice. the yoghurt have a very watery consistency and is quite sour (i got the standard one & staff didn’t ask if i want any sugar/ice adjustment). i can taste the ice crystals (not super fine) blended with the yoghurt. the purple rice is cooked very nicely and is v chewy! (need to use a spoon to scope out the left over purple rice caz i finished yoghurt first) prefer this over bubble tea as it’s quite refreshing and slightly guilt free!⁣ overall prettygoodbut i wasn’t fascinated.

𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐞 ($12.8): the pineapple is so good!! such agoodcombination, better than what i expected! ⁣however, there’s no doubt that it’s overpriced

one other thing to mention: their matte cup seal seem to be very tough (prettygoodquality) than those original ones, no more accidents when inserting straws yay⁣

update：tried out the date one today with less ice, sweeter than original, rich in date aroma, my fav one so far! would be better if they remove the seed before blending it in.
