stayed at the hilton and we were hungary! i thought i remembered te food being good, mistake. derfito got the fajitas, thechickentasted like it had been cooked in chinese jar sauce, not good. my pie was not a pie but a stew with a bit of filo pastry on top. it is what it is, average pub grub. the place is too smokey, even though we sat in the back, it affected the meal. might come in to watch sport however nothing more

hemingway's is located in radisson blu hotel, abu dhabi on corniche road. it is one of the oldest pub's with character. it has smoking, non-smoking and outdoor seating options.

the staff were courteous and polite. we ordered a whiskey cocktail, gin with tonic, lamb chops andchickentikka makhani. whilst the lamb chops was steeply priced for the portion served, thechickentikka makhani was delicious. they offered us "beat the heat" promotion where you get a discount in percentage according to the temperature outside.

we were there on a friday afternoon and it looked quiet deserted, just 3 or 4 tables were occupied including ours.

overall we felt it was once a popular pub but they now need to keep prices in line with their competitors.

the food was delicious today night. we ordered vegetarian nachos grande followed bychickenfajita with couple of beer and soft drink. the service was excellent as well.

we mostly go there for couple of drinks. but this time it was a horrible experience. thechickenwings we had ordered was not smelling fresh. on top of it the white ranch sauce was so pungent that i had to ask for the ketchup and other sauces. the prices are way too much if we see according to the price. people go to such places to have good food and we are spending that money to get quality food and service. they should check their quality of the food.

me and my ladies really felt like chilling and getting some drinks and good food. so we decided hemingways , my friends said the food is good and its ladies night on thursday,definitely felt like a good deal. c
we reached there about 10 , the vibe was good .they were playing classic 90 songs , good memories rushed in . the ladies night drink were only gin and vodka,wished there were more options . whenever we did order drinks , it was served at least 10-15 mins late, the place was not jam packed for this delay. the management should find a solution to this .
now the food is the best part, we had a voucher so we went forchickenwings and jathans platter from the quick bites list. it was fresh and delicious.
in short a good venue to chill and relax.

server was nice and that's only good thing i can say about the s place. caesar salad was very bland even with extra dressing.chickenfajita had absolutely nothing to do with real fajitas, was more of a sizzling sweet and sourchickenwith lots of tomato sauce and hardly any veg. choice of music is a pure mystery for me, i'm guessing they trying to make guest ears bleed for some reason. never again and will strongly advice everyone from visiting it.

hemingway's is just average in every possible way. it needs a bit of an update for the decor and seating set-up, and also for the menu and promotions. it's just gone a bit stale in the last 8 years.

i ordered the cajun wrap, which wasn't bad. it also had no hint of being cajun in any way. the steak inside was fresh, warm, and cooked nicely, it just didn't match what the menu said. sazzy saz order thechickenwrap which was supposed to include pesto and mozzarella, but actually was coldchickenwithout any sauce at all.
