the service and food was excellent. the burgers were bursting with flavor! if you're in the area definitely take the time to check them out. they are new but they're on the way to establishing a great reputation! check them out!

finally, something "uptown" in sw clt!. i live in steele creek, but i admit... i am one to drive out of my neighborhood for some good food and drink (ie- southend, dilworth, uptown).

finally, something in my backyard that accomplishes that "uptown" feel, without breaking the bank. the bartenders are friendly; the pours generous. the food (from what i've had so far) is great. can't wait to try some of the other items on the menu and come back for a john daly or two (or 5).

edit: this place continues to deliver! whether your choice is a "burger of the day" or a filet, harry's delivers a delicious, consistent product with great service to match. looks like they have a solid crowd, which is good- i want to see these guys do well so i can keep coming back!

we ate at harry's while stopping in the charlotte area on a two-day road trip with a three month old. though we were at first hesitant because it looked way too nice for two road weary parents and a baby, the manager actually waved us in and welcomed us into the bar area. from that point on, the evening was just what we needed. the staff was friendly, the service perfectly attentive, the drinks strong and smooth, and the food delicious. the fresh catch of the day was a perfectly seared striped bass, the bison bacon meatloaf was flavorful and tender, and all the sides were standout - particularly the brussels sprouts. and the brownie! - perfectly fudgy and rich. the staff clearly takes pride in the restaurant and enjoy each other as well, making harry's a great place to spend a couple hours whether you're just passing through or a soon-to-be regular. highly recommend!

we ordered for all the small plates since we were a group of eight. crab cake, cheese platter and flatbread with hummus dips were my favourite. i was also introduced to a new cocktail called cocotini which was super awesome.

clean nice environment. nice hostess, quick service. good service. still trying to decide if unlike the jicama pear slaw. balsamic vinaigrette a bit too acidic. could use a milder vinegar.

don't go there. the bartender served my drink and made me sit there for 20 minutes before asking for my food order. he spent more time in personal conversations with a pair of other patrons than he did servicing me. i got so disgusted that i told him i didn't want to order and to give me a check for the beer. the tab was $5.49 and that's exactly what i paid him. and get this. i saw one of the waitresses sample a customers drink with a straw! i have had terrible experiences in restaurants and this ranks up there with the worst.

well worth it. friendly, fast service, classic rock playing in the background, reasonable prices and excellent tasting food. 5 stars.

best spot in steele creek!. i have been to harry's several times since oct 2013....each time a great experience. bartenders/staff are friendly...feels like a true "neighborhood" bar/grill. nice local beer selection and cocktails. atmosphere is inviting and relaxing....no loud music so you can carry on a conversation ....has "uptown" feel, but very laid back - not at all pretentious. every food item on the menu i have tried has been excellent! crab cake (and i'm picky about crab cakes!), sweet potato fries, lobster mac all great. the other day i had the sliders, jicama slaw, roasted brussel sprouts & duck wings...all were amazing. i could live on those brussel sprouts.
love this place and that they're in my neighborhood!! will keep supporting because i'd really like them to stick around and thrive. keep up the good work harry's!

i realized this was one of the best burgers i’ve tasted in a while. the all-star of this burger was the mozzarella, which was fresh and thick and incredibly tasty. take a look at that thick slab of cheese on there.

good bar food, fun atmosphere. i come here every time i'm in town.

bad experience. the place looks like a really nice tavern and i was looking forward to trying it out. i so wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, we had a bad experience. it was a quiet night there, and our party of four waited 30 minutes for drinks to arrive. the waiter had to come back to our table to confirm our order three times, and the third time, came back only to tell us they were out of the beers we ordered. we waited an hour for dinner and a rare steak came out charred. the waiter never offered an apology even though the rest of us had finished our meal before another steak was brought out. even though we were really cordial about the incident, he never even came back to the table again. i cannot believe the poor service when they boost upscale food and impeccable service on their site. maybe we just tried it on an off night, but i don't think i'd try it again unless the service and chef change.

slow! waited an hour for food on a monday and left. also, waitress tried to pass off sprite w/splash of coke for ginger ale...i'm not stupid!

for the location and quality bar food, which is better than typical .. good crowd bettrr than wild wings if you are in mood to chill

perfect!. this restaurant/bar is absolutelutely, positively perfect! i can't say enough good things about how fantastic our meals and drinks were. i went with my wife and two friends of ours last thursday night, we were all very impressed by the quality of the food, and the wait staff. i had the shrimp and andouille sausage pasta, it was delicious, my wife had the surf and turf and said the crab cake was the best she had ever had. our friends were equally impressed, we all plan on returning to this restaurant very soon.
