best sweet potato fries in town! friendly staff! always willing to go the extra mile to make the dining experience awesome. will def be bringing friends and colleagues in for more!!

sweet potato fries = heaven. i ordered the crab cake sandwich (ridiculously tasty) and the waitress asked if i would like regular or sweet potato fries. i was feeling a little adventurous and went with the sweet potato variety. from the first bite i knew it was love! they were the best tasting french fries i have ever had in my entire life. harry's is one of my new favorites, after the sweet potato affair, i took a group of friends there after for an after work cocktail and it was perfect. a nice soft seating area allowed us to sit back, relax and enjoy the 'fizzy flower". well done harry's, you've earned yourself a regular ;)

(especially thursday nights when bottles of wine are 1/2 off!)

too much customer service?. in addition to visits from our waitrees, jeff - the manager(?) - visited our table three times to thoroughly review the entire menu, ask how we heard about them, ask if we liked the restaurant, ask if we would come back, etc. it was pretty intense! we got the burger and the grilled chicken entree, and they were fine, but the tables felt really close together. based on all the fantastic reviews, maybe my expectations were too high, but i doubt we'll be back anytime soon.

great place!!. harry's is one of the best places i have eaten at in a long time. the food was excellent-- delicious, creative selection without being trendy. great switch from the usual chain restaurants! reasonably priced, professional wait staff-- a great find. i hope others discover this place-- wasn't too busy for a saturday night which was a shame-- it is a real treat!

harry's is exactly what southwest charlotte needs nice variety of good solid american dishes, interesting small plates, and a groundbreaking top shelf burger local beers and desserts round out the menu nicely i love my little neighborhood...but a dining mecca it is not. if you live in the steele creek area, you feel my pain. while there are plenty of casual options (think chain restaurants and bbq), there's nothing great on the higher-end of the dining spectrum...until now. harry's grill and tavern opened in march, and i have to say i was ecstatic to welcome them to the 'hood. per the website, harry's is "reminiscent of one of new york city's finest gastro-pubs." the menu is mostly classic american, and offers a selection of hot and chilled small plates along with a traditional full menu. interesting menu fact: harry's has recently developed a "top shelf" burger, which is made with lafrieda beef. as in, pat lafrieda the nyc "meat magician" whose show, meat me

good new restaurant. harry's is very close to where i work and i have been for both lunch and dinner. the prices are a bit high for lunch in ayrsley, but the food is usually very good. the cobb salad ($9) is excellent and a good size. i do wish there were a few more lighter lunch selections.

as other reviewers have noted, the crab cake is excellent, but warning: the small plate crab cake and the crab cake sandwich are the exact same price ($13), but the crab cake in the sandwich is nearly twice the size and comes with fries and our waitress had absolutely no explanation for this. the small plate crab cake is not nearly enough food for a meal.

the filet sandwich is terrific and so are the sweet potato fries. regular fries are good. the cheese small plate was a bit dull - three fairly small pieces of cheese, and the flavor choices weren't popular with my group. the waitress could only identify one of the cheeses -- after checking with the kitchen, she was able to name one more. the third remains a mystery, but it is a very new restaurant and a very new staff .... these things will work themselves out if the restaurant can stick out its growing pains.

the drink menu doesn't list prices, so you may want to ask if you are on a budget. we were a bit surprised to learn when the bill came that my martini was $8 but my friend's glass of pinot was $9.

yummy scallops. you gotta try the scallops, they are delicious. i have been to harry's five times now. it is great to hang out with friends or entertain clients!

a great place to have in sw charlotte. a great addition to south west charlotte, harry's is a place i recommend for you should try. i rarely suggest fish dishes for others (i am very picky about fish), but i highly suggest the seared salmon. its a great place to have a lunch meeting, my guests rave about the burgers and i have enjoyed the cobb salad a number of times. after hours, their comprehensive craft beer menu is a plus and the bartenders know how to make a cocktail. there really is not anything like this place it in the area.

harry's is great!. we have had dinner there twice and were very pleased both times. the lobster mac and cheese is the bomb! over all nice place to hang out at and enjoy conversation. the drink prices are very good and food is very reasonably priced. it is a gem to add to the area!!!

love it! it's not the same ole chain restaurant. just what this side of town needs. you have the bar, lounge, and restaurant feel all in one! and the service is awesome

harry's is awesome!. we have been wating for a great spot like this to come to ayrsley for a while and harry's was worth the wait! the burger is to die for and the sweet potato fries are amazing. will definitely be back!

harry's is awesome.. the sliders and the pork tenderloin were so good. my girlfriend got the filet which brought on some entree envy. great place, will be back!

delish!. friendly service, nice ambience and delicious food. we will definitely visit often. so nice to have a good dining experience before or after going to the movie theater across the way.
