good food. ridiculous amounts of it. if four people all want to eat the exact same thing, knock yourself out. if not be prepared to take whatever you order home and eat it for a week.

~cd~. ridiculous sandwiches. just like carnegie deli in the city. went there on the way up to saratoga in '08 with summer and her family. 1 sandwich feeds like 8 people

new jersey turnpike in edison, new jersey, sits a quiet, plain white restaurant with green trim, next to a holiday inn, flanked by nothing but a large parking lot. but inside this nondescript building lies a wonderland called harold’s new york deli.

to summarize my katz’s deli experience, i would put it this way. top quality pastrami, low value. as much as i love top quality experiences, deep down, i’m a sucker for value. let me introduce you to value – jersey style.

the best sandwiches anywhere!. harold's is an institution. spot the first-timers at the tables, there the ones who order a whole sandwich just for themselves! the pickes here (especially the garlic dill) are the best you can find. best of all is harold himslef, he makes you feel like family each and every time you come.
