really great prosciutto pizza. very thin crust; if you like that, you should come here. great drink creations as well along with great wine choices. atmosphere seemed a little too dressy at first but you dot need to be completely dressed up to go here. had a great time!

i’ve never been so offended before.
we came to hannys and we get a $200 bill,leave a $20 tipyou and server comes back really mad i mean very mad that her tio should be $50 and she wanted it corrected! i’ve never been anywhere where a swrvws tells me how much i should tip.
she’s been the worst server ever. like she gave us awful service. this place has lost my business for sure. i will never ever go back and will be sure to tell my family.

we stopped in as a group of 3 for dinner. the atmosphere is nice but a bit dark for reading menus. the service was quick but the staff was not very friendly. the food was just ok but nothing to write home about.

the place would be a 5 star if the employees weren't so damn rude,  we talked to the waiter 10 minutes ago and still no food. we will no longer recommend hanny's as a great place to go in phoenix.

you learn to know what to expect from hanny's. it looks cool and feels fun, but when it comes to food, drinks, and especially service, you soon realize that this place has some issues.

hannys, hannys, hannys aren't you glad i said hannys? i love this place, this is the place that makes what you call living in phoenix a dream. it's what all city's need at night. you walk in, you wait to be seated and what do you see wonderful service, people in classic white restaurant attire it's very classic. you get more of a new york or downtown la feel with the dim lights and live dj spinning above you. it has a clean and simple menu, one for drinks one for food! what you should expect is that it's very good in its portions. a personal pizza is good for two unless your greedy, then get one for yourself! awesome sandwich choices and if you still are indecisive get one of each, like a pizza and an appetizer or a sandwich or an appetizer! bring friends the more the merrier or sit at the bar either way is the cool way to go. i personally love their pizza and you have no wrong way of choosing definitely tho, try the onion strings so good! i always try to stop by for a martini too, the drinks are fantastic! overall enjoy! and keep staying hungry phoenix!

i love me some late night eats at hanny's. i frequent here often because it is located in the heart of downtown phoenix and opens pretty late. the restaurant itself is housed in an old international style building (built in the 40's) that used to be a department store. i love ambiance of the bar area and it even has a meat slicer present to slice up some thin slices of prosciutto. some of my favorites are the porchetta, giardiniera & rossa bianco pizzas. check out sunday nights for $10 pizza nights and drink specials. make sure you check out the basement area and get a look at the creepy dolls on display.

my #1 place to go in downtown phx! the vibe is stylish and sexy, feels like your in the big city :) the cocktails are perfection!! pizza is always great! plus one of the only places  you can get absinthe and they serve it right!

the environment at hanny's is great. the pizza is delicious. when i eat pizza here it's pretty much guilt free, i don't fee like i'm over eating!

there are better places to eat. my husband and i wanted to try hanny's after seeing a review of the restaurant and food on "check please, arizona". the description of the food and showing of the plates of food looked great and huge portions ........that is until i ordered the exact same thing at the restaurant. very disappointing. the roast beef sandwich was not nearly as big as it was shown on "check please arizona". it was squished down . i got the 1/2 order of onion strings which were okay and half order of the gorgonzola slaw salad which was not crisp and cold but warm and soggy . there was no flavor to the food which was quite bland and very disappointing. my husband ordered the americano pizza which i will say was a hearty size but again no flavor and douced with onions and tons of mushrooms but very little if any sausage. his martini was quite small as was my wine pour. the atmosphere was nice and so the dj music mix. i know we won''t be going back again. there are places that are much better.in town.

phenomenal scotch and borboun selection with excellent bartenders who know their craft. kitchen is open till 1am making it a convenient stop for drinks and a snack.

pizza was great! our waitress was an airhead though. i think her name was marva. don't sit upstairs.

awesome gorgonzola slaw. last night my husband and i went to hanny's with some friends. the atmosphere is great and the food was even better. i had the blt supremo with the gorgonzola slaw which was to die for but next time i am going to get half onion rings and slaw as my side. my husband had it and it was so yummy. all i can think about today is driving back downtown to just get this. all other food was good as well. others had the pizza, chopped salad and porchetta sandwich which was all so good. service was top notch as well. all in all a great experience.

great drinks, bad food. i like to stop by hanny's before a big event downtown. the drinks are very, very good. the mint julep, the old fashioned, the absinthe... all perfectly made and delicious. the food, on the other hand, leaves something to be desired. the chopped salad is bland, the appetizers are mostly deli meat, and the onion strings are way too greasy. eat before you come, and enjoy the cocktails while you explore the building.
