went with friend for iftar at hakkasan abu dhabi, a chinese fine dining, cozy, classy restaurant in abu dhabi at the 7 stars emirates palace hotel🌟

such a beautiful place, everything was exceptional, outdoor veranda seating😍 very friendly staff, very attentive, they ensured we had all what we need and more!

the iftar set menu is one of the best, very creative and delicious😋 everything we has was very delicious, add to this the very creative mocktails and the um ali eith dates ice cream dessert😋👌all yum yum 😋 have a look at the pics they speak ❤️😍

as a belated mother day i took my mom to hakkasan for afternoon tea.

it was quite lovley actualy. when you see it at first u think it's not as extensive as other teas but once you try the food you realise why. the ingredients are really good quality and the flavours are on point.

the fried dim sums were good and different. my only con would be that all 3 types tastes pretty much the same; so they could maybe improve on variety. the presentation is cute though.

the deserts were also nice. all the vanilla were authentic french vanilla and ofcourse gold playing ( can't be emirates palace without some gold)

the teas were also so lovley and delicate and again very authentic.

service and ambiance were good too and price was pretty decent at 98/person (pricing is per person and not per rack of tea)

definitely a good place to have a ladies day out

finally authentic hong kong style cuisine in abu dhabi. i have been looking for so long and never quite satisfied with many of the chinese restaurants in uae. every year i go back to hong kong to get my fill and satisfy all my cravings. but a short car ride away, you can find authentic cantonese eats at this well known 7* star property known as hakkasan. we delighted in the hakkasan brunch on their newly opened terrace. read on further for my experience and photos from my blogger friends.

okey, this is going to take some time for you to read :p.

first, hakkasan is one of the best restaurants i have tried in the "uae" not just abu dhabi.

service: emirates palace restaurants share the same quality of service, you always feel at your him from the moment you step inside, everybodey is helpful, smiling and professional. everything is put in an orgnized fashion, you reach the door and somone will open it to you from the other side and direct you to the seating team, the seating team will have your info if you booked earlier and will direct you to your table and introduce you to your waiter, the waiter will hand out the menu and will help you if you need any help and will always now the menu and dishes like the back of his hand.

food: authintic chineese food and will always be made of top quality ingredients. i have never ordered somthing that was bad or badley made, even if i didn't like its taste it is always obvious that it was well made.

drinks: hakkasan is one of the places where you cant go wrong with any drink you order. you will find your regualr mojito, pinacolada and you will always find somthing different which is always an extra point to any restaurant.

dessert: well, this is where i deducted half a point. hakkasan has one or two good dessert dishes, but they lack the options. i wouldn't blame them becouse chinesse cuisine has a very limited dessert options.

recommendations: mango duck and fried dim sum for starter, a selection of thier signture beef, duck and seafood dishes with some noodles or rice and souffle for dessert.

and this is coming from a person who does not eat sushi, dum sum etc.
there are other food in the menu that a person like me will eat.
but forget the food who everyone says it is amazing...the ambiance and atmosphere and service will just make you go wow.

hakkasan is a fine-dining-chinese restaurant. i always enjoy my time at hakkasan with their amazing staff and good chinese food!
i wouldn't say that it is the regular street chinese food; however, it is chinese food with a very luxurious twist.

i was recently invited for the afternoon tea tasting at hakkasan located at the magnificent emirates palace.

the afternoon tea which is available between 3 pm to 6 pm everyday is priced at aed 98 and offers a selection of teas, sweet treats & dim sums. also if you fancy a glass of louis roedere brut, you can opt for that for an additional aed 100
the beautiful dessert & display stand reminded me that of the aldar building located in abu dhabi (look at the picture & you would agree with me *wink*)
this stand however comprised of vanilla cheesecake with raspberry sauce, chocolate macaron, truffle, fruit tarts, chicken taro croquette, crispy box dumpling and squid dim-sum (had to give this a miss as i'm allergic to squid, sigh! yes, life is not easy without squid in it)

but i absolutely relished everything else, my favorites being the truffle, macaron (hakkasan always does this right) and the chicken taro croquette
now since i had already tried & tested the jasmine green tea which i loved, i opted for the silver needle which found its origin in fujian (china) - it was light, refreshing & rich on the palette.  

i don't even need to get into the ambiance bit because it's hakkasan we are talking about and hakkasan is probably now a synonym to royalty which is depicted through its interiors largely.
special shout-out to akheel, who took good care of us & made sure we had a good time.
i would rate this a 4/5 - definitely recommended for an afternoon out with the girls/ family

hakkatini nights is a concept introduced by hakassan, where guests can enjoy selected cocktails along with three signature dimsums for just aed 80. they have it every night, however, we visited hakkasan on a saturday night ... when we needed those drinks the most .. to survive the long week ahead. hakkasan is located inside the luxurious emirates palace hotel. people who opt for hakkatini nights have a choice to either sit in the lounge or at the bar. we chose the bar - firstly, because it had better lightning (for pictures), secondly because we could get in on the action.

one of the best places for a romantic date .... i visited with some friends .... the ambiance was superb..... the best chinese food i ever had ..... a big big thums up for hakkasan.

my all time favourite joint. love everything about this place. staff service ambience food and drinks. the beauty is despite being vegetarian the server really tailored made something for my taste buds and it was a complete delight. looking forward to visit again.

terrible service, hotel staff does not have knwoledge about reservations and request. informations about the brunch, itens included and time are all confuse. the worst i have ever had in the uae, definetly not an emirates palace kind of restaurant.

today we had a chance to fine dine at a
3-starred michelin contemporary cantonese restaurant @hakkasanabudhabi inside @emiratespalace. we had the dragon 🐉 signature menu which includes:

appetizers:

*supreme dimsum
- gold leaf har gau
- abalone chicken sio mai
- wagyu beef black garlic dumplings
- chilean seabass dumpling
* jasmine tea smoked wagyu beef ribs
* crispy duck salad

main course:

*charcoal grilled chilean seabass w/ honey
*roasted chicken in satay sauce
*wok-fry tiger prawns
*three style mushroom stir fry
*edamame egg fried rice

dessert:

milk chocolate and hazelnut parfait

drinks:

shanghai iced-tea
lemongrass spritz
kowloon cooler
voss water

the venue was incredible right after entering we were whisked through a geometric grid of neon blue alleyways to our table for the night. the low lighting, deep house playlist and permeable partitions that surround the dining nooks provide a pleasant balance between a privileged sense of seclusion, and vignette views of the busy restaurant beyond. it is its own vibe.

verdict : rating a, we love the vibe, we love the food , we love the atmosphere, it’s about the holistic experience. the chef is speaking through the food, and whilst we can try to describe it here, the only way to hear this beautiful mantra is to try it. which you really rather ought to.

hakkasan abu dhabi was celebrating the group's 20th anniversary with a specially curated menu featuring their all-time classics and the food was absolutely amazing

great food, good service. the presentation and the taste was impeccable. great ambience for celebration. we were advised correctly over the portion sizes and were able to order accordingly without wasting anything and leaving enough space for their dessert. will go there again to try out their varied menu.

this place has amazing ambience and the food was just simply outstanding. the waitress happened to be very friendly and welcoming. overall experience at hakkasun was wonderful. i loved it.
