hakkasan - emirates palace

one of the best places in abu dhabi. as with the dubai branch, stick with the starters - duck salad, jasmine-tea smoked wagyu beef ribs (although portions have shrunk recently), dim sum etc. the decor and ambiance is fantastic, as is the service. also a great place to people watch (on the sly), you will see all walks of life from abu dhabi's 'elite' circles - which can be rather entertaining at times.

i would say this is the best chinese restaurant in town! located in the most prestigious hotel. i experience this restaurant regularly as part of my dining routine. their foods are fantastic and attentive waitress. always manage to sit on their bar to sip refreshing cocktails before eating. their bar probably has the most complete range of liquor.

hands down, one of the best restaurants in abu dhabi.  the service is excellent the food quality is superior ( my favorite dish is the black seabass) and the atmosphere is elegant, but charming and warm.  the price definitely reflects the high-quality meal on offer, so do not expect any extraordinary value.  i would also recommend the bar, as the cocktails are incredible.  my favorite is the smokey negroni.  it is an experience.  
   dai pai dong has been compared to hakkasan, but with the prices so similar, i would rather spend my earning at hakkasan, as the food is slightly better and the location makes it feel more luxurious.  i would especially recommend eating outside at hakkasan when the weather is tolerable. there you will have a view of the iconic etihad towers while the sun sets over the city.

one of my fav places to ho for dining!!! had gone out for a date over here!!! just loved the ambience an trust me its worth every penny you spend over here. the quality an service is simply amazing. non- alcoholic drinks are been served here. you"ll live the crowd over here. i had reserved a table before entering it! cant wait to go again !!!!

probably my favourite restaurant in the world. decor, music, atmosphere all add to the amazing food and great drink selection. my only issue, which is an issue most places in abu dhabi unfortunately is that it can get very smoky but if you go early it's usually fine. expensive but i don't have a problem paying as it's absolutely worth it.

this place no matter how many times i visit it every year it still remains my best chinese restaurant , especially the one in abu dhabi . the staff the ambience all were amazing. will definitely come here again. go for the deer meat , wagyu beef , prawn toast , udin noodles , sanpei chicken , blue tea . its just too expensive for the portions they serve.

i really enjoyed our dinner there. i recommend the shaokin cocktail, the dim sum seafood platter, king prawn black pepper and the sweet and sour chicken! my minus goes to the dessert - chocolate fondant with banana ice cream. i asked to replace the ice cream with another flavor (i don't like banana) but then i got surprised because the fondant includes banana flavor (which i dislike!).
otherwise i loved it and loved the nice atmosphere!

the loss in 1.5 stars is due to the fact that i had taken a bunch of people there for my dad's birthday. the server helped order the food and i kept telling him that we don't want to order too much. well he ordered too much for us.
several of the dishes were untouched. what annoyed me is that he later said nothing could be taken home.
he should have told me this when ordering or should have added more quantity when items were running out. very tacky - looks like he just wanted me to run up a tab which was in excess of aed 6000.
i have been to the bar a couple of times but not dined there since it left a 'bad taste in my mouth' so to speak.

finally went back this last weekend and decided to give them another .5 stars because of the sheer luxe feel that you get at the place compared to the numerous other restaurants that try to provide this same experience in abu dhabi. had it not been for my dining experience a couple of years ago i would probably rate hakkasan 4.5.

oh my duck... the taste makes me fly. every thing in their menu taste good. however, the ghazal's meet is a bit spicy. the dumplings need to cool down before eating them. don't forget to order the duck salad. have a great meal dear foodies.

great atmosphere. great service. great food. in love with their crispy duck salad, jasmine beef slices, sesame shrimp rolls. and this is only the appetizers! honestly most of the time we don't get passed the appetizers lol. this place overall puts you in a happy relaxing mood.

loved the food, the portion was perfect, ambience to  perfect, awesome dumplings and chicken was just too perfectly cooked.  did visit this place a number of times. roast chicken with sesame is just  too good.

booked the table for 5 chefs through our colleague who used work for hakkasan london and doha. the dinner was absolutely phenomenal. very friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. you do not feel rushed and you have plenty of time to enjoy the dinner. i can bet with anybody the desserts are the best in abu dhabi!!many thx for chef lee for looking after us.

loved the food and the portions were perfect! the soft shell crab for starters was mouth watering ....

main course- the crispy noodles and black bean fish were our favorites! the homemade chilli sauce prawns were kind of bland. a must go especially in the winters to enjoy good fusion chinese food outdoor!

went for brunch with my wife and was a little disappointed to be fair. with all the stiff competition for brunchers on a friday, hakkasan falls a little short of its attempt at haut cuisine. first, we were presented with a set menu and were told, to our dismay, that we could only order a small number of dim sum plates each. no unlimited dim sum here! the drinks were all very sweet, unless you were in the mood for beer. we arrived at 1 and were gone by 3, an almost unprecedented move for us at a brunch. all in all, i didn't feel it justified the combined bill of almost 1000dhs for 2.
