haagen dazs

i ordered a cake for my son's second birthday from haagendazs. the cake looked extremely impressive on their menu and thinking that it would be as good in reality, i placed the order. the cake which was delivered to me was nowhere near the same quality in terms of appearance. it looked amateurish and was certainly notworththe money i paid (₹2300 for a 990 gm cake). once i complained they did replace it with a better looking cake but it still cannot compare to the cakes they claim to be selling. having said this, the cake tasted good, but looked very unimpressive and it was quite embarrassing to serve it to our guests. will never order a cake from haagen dazs again. overpriced and poor quality.

this icecream.. isworthevery single cent, my taste buds were  mwaahhh.. i liked it...  it was late night and a good packing done... loved it

i went to hd with my family it was three of us so we ordered the eiffel tower and two chocolate macaroons it came to around ₹900 for 3 people that is pricey but the taste was just amazingworthevery penny

evenings have always been my fav n comfortable time of the day to go out in search of good cafes or ice cream outlets. n today was no exception. as soon as i got out of a sickeningly long (4 freaking hrs!) meeting, i rang up vaishnavi rao asking her to get out of her office right away without even a place in my mind. at the same time another friend called up for a coffee. but as the place he had in mind was on the other end of city from vaishu's place, we made a quick decision to treat ourselves with ice cream. the options that came to my mind were two n haagen dazs won the delightful battle :)
the less than 5mins drive from my office seemed to take forever due to heavy traffic but of course häagen dazs is definitelyworthit.
they have huge space for parking so no worries on that part.

we had the visual treat before we could satisfy our insatiable ice cream needs!
huge pictures of delicious ice creams n bradley cooper adorned the walls. the intricate designs on the glass partitons were beautiful. their ad was being played on the tvs. the place is quite big, tables n seatings pretty cozy.
the place was empty except for a table occupied by a couple.
as vaish n ram started browsing through their album like menu n placed their orders in a jiffy, i pestered our kind waitress with loads of questions. as i wasn't satisfied with the options, left the table to look at the display freezers. the desserts looked inviting. but i was disappointed with their very limited options of ice cream flavours.
almost same flavours filled the freezers on both sides n few trays were sealed :( after looking at the options many times as though new one would pop up magically :p i lost my patience as they kept suggesting me two flavours in particular, macadamia n vanilla even though i informed them that i dislike the latter n not a big fan of the former! i went to our table asking the waitress to suprise me.
vaish had ordered belgian choc n vanilla scoops with choc syrup- b.choc was awesome n vanilla was, well vanilla. the syrup truned out to be amazing so we used it as a topping for all our ice creams.
ram had cup (forgot the name) of strawberry n summer berry scoops with fresh cream n cookies. he loved the summer berries so much that he ordered one more scoop of that.

mine was a glass which had raspberry sorbet(lovely for me n too tangy for the others), mango(bland) and again fresh cream n cookies. it was a bit irritating cos both our glassware had huge amout of cookies which we struggled to finish. but the flavours were really rich n authentic :)

the guy who was behind the counter came to our table while we were about to leave enquiring about how i liked the flavours he had chosen for me n also informed again that he couldn't offer much as the flavours they had were too limited.
we got to know that they are expecting 2 or 3 more flavours by next week n were promised that we will enjoy them more :)
when it comes to pricing, they are a bit on the higher end which may be accepted considering the quality of flavours. but i am not sure about their biiling though. service charge had been entered with the list of items and vat n service tax were loaded on the total. so am confused a little with that norm :/

knk is one of my favourite roads in nungambakkam that i love to spend time with my frnz, my college was located around this area and my gym was in this street, so two years back wen i was walking on this road, i found hd to my surprise and i have been craving for hd since i tasted them in honk kong, so few weeks later i dragged my siblings and my husband to this and made them buying me their ice cream knowing it costs a bomb... i jus loved it... i love their presentation of every ice cream sply the effel tower ... soworthevery penny spent...

quantity is very less. notworthit at all. images are misleading and make it look like a large scoop.

the ice cream stole our hearts because it looked so good and tempting deep into raspberry flavour .it melted into the mouth and a completeworthpurchasing it waiting to try next flavour good experience

the ice cream i recently ordered was so good . it melted in mouth within seconds . so moist so rich in flavour. i tried this flavor for the first time and it'sworthordering again and again.they have beautiful flavour . it's summer n i'm going to try mango sorbet soon

went here for dessert after dinner. tryed out their chocolate explosion . though the concept was good it wasn't tasty. their belgian waffle was awesome and gold membership made itworththe money

1. chocolate bomb- a huge globe built of chocolate which melts down to present us with 8 amazing mini scoops of icecreams of different flavours accompanied by mini brownie bites glazed with chocolate fudge- man am i in heaven already?

2. cookie and cream crunch- a tall glass layered with cookie crumbs alternating with two different flavours of icecream of your choice alternating with whipped cream and i'm in sugar coma!

a must visit place for all dessert lovers despite the high pricing cos it'sworthit

being an icecream addict, i really wanted to check out haagen dazs, even though they are quite expensive.

we tried,
dark chocolate bomb
the eiffel tower

dark chocolate bomb - this was absolutely golden! it was served with 8 scoops and we let them to choose the flavours. the outer chocolate was so warm and rich in flavour. and oh, each and every scoop of ice cream felt like ecstasy! must try. please, have a look at the photos and start craving already!

the eiffel tower - this looks absolutely beautiful! but unlike the chocolate bomb, this was quite disappointing in terms of taste. or that's what i felt. this was served with cookies & cream and belgian chocolate ice cream. the brownie wasn't really satisfactory and the ice creams seemed to lack in taste. i personally wouldn't recommend this but your taste might vary from mine. so, it's upto you!

ambience - spacious and hella beautiful! the book shelf helped more with the aesthetics. probably, the most beautiful icecream center i have been to. :')

and of course, like previously mentioned, they are quite expensive. but hey, it is reallyworthsaving up to try their ice creams!

all the dishes were very good.. the presentation, the ambience, the service everything was perfect.. the price maybe a bit high butworthevery penny.. i'd recommend my friends for sure.. lovely attitude of the staffs as well.. way to go..

good place ,worththe price , quality and quantity satisfaction , car parking available , amazing service . its has not oly ice cream but also a restaurant .

tried the sweet lime sorbet and one more chocolate and caramel scoops.. ok i agree the scoops are expensive but once in a while when u decide to cheat on your diet i think you should make itworthyour while.. so visit here!

this place is definitely ice-cream heaven! i love their creations,must try strawberry cheese cake and belgian waffle! it’s very expensive,dude it’s haagen daazworthspending!
