haagen dazs

one of the besticecreams i ever had....before visiting the cafe i thought the menu they have displayed is just a dream...its too fancy to find in india, but to my surprise what i ordered looked exactly the same. the service was also good. theicecreams are at a higher end, but u will get what you are paying for. the only thing i did not like was they did not have the most of the chocolate and coffee flavor available during my visit.

overall this place is a must visit place for allicecream lovers!!!

to be honest, i have not tried any of their signature dishes for i always end up here late at night after a heavy meal.

but considering that they use the normalicecream listed in the menu as the base for their signature dishes, i don't think i have missed much.

theicecreams are alright and if you find yourself in nungambakkam cravingicecreams after a good meal, this might be the place. but for desserts, i would prefer a place with more options. the pricing seems to be way off the target.

as a self proclaimed connoisseur of all thingsicecream, a trip to haagen dazs in chennai was long overdue.

located in the central foodie district of chennai, aka khader nawaz khan road, the outlet very much lives up to the image of gourmeticecream dining. emboldened, we ordered the classic fondue for the two of us. we were rather disappointed that we couldn't choose the flavours of the scoops for the fondue, which is generally the case with similar menu items in other places. when it arrived, we faced an even bigger disappointment with the ridiculously small scoop sizes and the incredibly inconvenient vessel in which they were placed, which ensured moreicecream ended up in the space between the plates than in our bellies. the side accouterments to theicecream were good but nothing to write home about. perhaps this wasn't their strongest dish, but at this level you'd expect every dish make you go gaga over it. especially at the prices charged. sadly  that was not the case.

while there is little doubt that this brand is over-hyped, the taste and variety oficecream served here does not live up to the hype. i have had tastier and far more exotic flavours at cream & fudge.

if i also consider gealto places like freezilicious & gelato italiano, haagen dazs is not even in the same league. if you want good old fashionedicecreams, swensen's does it better. even packagedicecreams like london diary do a better job at makingicecreams, when compared to haagen dazs.

so, yeah, this place is way over-priced, especially considering their attitude and poorly trained staff. and, yeah, their coffee is pretty average too.

i wud say its the best place for all chocolate andicecream lover's.
they hav a pretty big place wid a parking lot and valet service.
the creativity and innovative ideas in their presentation and deserts is wat makes haagen dazs the best.
i've tried almost 50% of their menu and i'm happy they have a revised new menu.
the fondues are worth dying for.
the pastries andicecream flavors can insanely make you go hungry.
the eiffel tower cake and also the other deserts -ice creams and pastry are unique and awesome.
jus love the ambience, interiors and efficient staff and service.

the only drawback for me is the pricing which is on the expensive side making it difficult to order a lot of deserts and so need a big group which i'm so happy cuz i'm blessed wid enuf foodie frnds who also love to order different varieties and yes so it makes it not so difficult on d pocket;);)

this is my goto waffle place. theicecreams are good but the place is pricey for what it offers. sandwiched between two premiumicecream parlours, the competition is a quite high, but haagen dazs has its own crowd since the brand is quite established internationally. but definitely goodicecreams overall. the hazelnut biscotti , the chocolates, the brittles and the strawberries cheesecakes are a must try. it's tue perfect night out desert experience .

i don't have much of a sweet tooth but haagen dazs has definitely won me over!

their impeccably smooth and richicecream is to die for. even though it is a bit of a splurge i would highly recommend it to everyone. in fact i've been singing praises about this place since forever. 

if theiricecream fails to impress you ( which is highly unlikely) their signature creations will blow your mind away. i've only had their european fondue so far and have an entire menu to cover, which i will. nevertheless the fondue literally gave me a foodgasm and i am extremely critical when it comes to gastronomy. the ambience is also pleasantly cozy and inviting.

can't wait to head over there and checkout the rest of their signature creations.

haagen dazs does nt require a review!!! the food the ambience the service is just a class apart! the flavours the presentation the ideas you guys are wooooooooow! u burn a huge hole in my pocket but uricecream makes up for it!

u walk in and u feel like a kid again.. that smell of flour baking jus lifts you a couple of feet in the air..! the flavours are the usual ones.. but the word usual is dissociated there.. everythin else is exceptional.. i mean they have valet parking..!!! waiters..!! and the seating is amazingly comfy..!! al this sets the mood for the besticecream u'd have ever tasted to arrive..! my god..!! they haven't invented words to describe the way it melts in ur mouth..!!! a truly out of world experience..! n yea they charge u for al this.. a double scoop wit one topping will set u back 500bucks..! but u enjoy each spoonful..!!! a place to go if ur in the mood for a celebration..!

since häagen dazs was started at khader nawaz khan road, i wanted to indulge in the taste of their products, finally on 15th of april '15 entered the place. i liked everything from ambience to service and the great varieties!

there isn't anything to mentioned that isn't good enough. but the price which is too much, like häagen dazs high tea is rs.1800+ which is absolutely too much! anyway i went for belgian waffle dream, the taste and the way it was arranged & served were perfect and wondrous.
i would definitely recommend this perfect place to my know associates who'd like to try out perfecticecream in a proper place. in any near future i'd love to re visit to indulge in their great taste of wonderful food stuff.
according to my knowledge and experience häagen dazs is the "ambrosia" oficecreams!

this outlet reminds me of richness and sophistication ... if u r ready to enjoy an exquisite range of desserts that can take u to a whole new world .. haagen daz is ur destiny !! the service is amazing and the desserts look like what is shown ... highlights
1 the chocolate fudge is really chocolaty
2 they serve good coffee ...
3 they really serve eye catchy, mouth wateringicecream varieties
4 the way in which they blend real fruits with a wide range oficecreams is remarkable !! very berry was a divine example to prove this .. the taste of strawberries, scoops oficecream and syrup will leave u mesmerised.
however, remember that the outlet is pricy and will blindly make u spend at least 1000 bucks !!

one night when i was searching for someicecream joint in chennai i happen to find this place in zomato.
ater travelling for 1 hour from omr road and stopping at every check post by cops for drink and drive test i was able to fine the place. 
the place isn't so hard to find. you can and identify it with the light as its the only restaurant that happens to open till night.
coming to ambience its an international brand and they happen to maintain the look without taking any chances.
i slightly feel the place is little over hyped as theicecreams are very normal and they don't even have any special flavours in the store to be unique from other shops.
but the sundaes look  so beautiful. if you happen to visit this place on a date you are going to impress her with these things.
but nothing of soo tasty.

these areicecreams to die for thanks to mr sam paul for bringing this wonderful creations to chennai ... up there with one of the besticecreams in chennai ... only disappointment their waffle portions are tiny for the price

definitely the best place for ice-creams.
as soon as u enter this place, you would be noticing two things worth mentioning
1. warm welcome by the staff.
2. the pleasant aroma inside (i just love this part).

being a connoisseur (or at least claiming to be one :p), after having tried many ice-cream joints in chennai, this is the place i would suggest everyone to visit at least once, and yeah, i m sure u would visit it again n again.

coming to the menu , u can see lot of exotic varieties of ice-cream creations.
though everything here is pretty expensive, but totally worth it.
if u don`t want to order these over-pricedicecream creations, then u can go for individual ice-cream flavored scoops (210-240 rs/ scoop, including tax).
u can even order extra add-ons(toppings), which is chargeable(@25 bucks). but one option u may think of is ordering the add-ons separately, instead of them putting on theicecream itself. 
well yea, i agree, its too much for a scoop, and for all the kwality walls, amulicecream lovers who r judging me, i would say, give it a try and u ll know the difference.

the next good thing is the ambiance and so is the courteous staff.

finally concluding i would say, this is a must visit place for all the ice-cream lovers out there. just sit back, relax and relish the desert..!!

this is a place foricecream people. best one is belgium chocolate. it's to die for. theicecream with small peaces of belgium chocolate smoothly meals in your mouth and you feel heavenly.

now that's what i call a 5/5. ??

o i wana have one now.
