this place is my favorite because of its cozy ambience, good service and amazing desserts. we ordered darkchocolatebomb with the various mini scoops of ice cream inside. the way they present it is a treat to the eye. they pour hotchocolatesyrup on top of the bigchocolateball/bomb and like how a bird hatches from its shell, the choco ball opens up slowly making us a witness to the many mini scoop delicacies that were hidden inside. and then my friends, we are ready to indulge in the best dessert eating experience ever... each spoon you take, you wonder which flavor have you just taken! the mystery keeps us going and each flavor is a treat to our taste buds. must try!!!

we dropped in here as there was no desserts in cascade restaurant above.

this place had a very cosy atmosphere with sofas and book shelves. the staff were also polite and courteous to a fault.

nothing beats the raspberry sorbet that they serve. we also tried the new mango sorbet but it didn’t feel the haagen dazs quality, it wasn’t a natural taste at all. the other two serves, eiffel tower and thechocolatebrownie explosion were as exquisite as it gets. they have only 2 options in the entire menu which are purely vegetarian, without egg so to say. so veg people, think once before you go!

yes! it's fondue! if you want to celebrate a day with your loved ones.. i suggest you to schedule this place for a special occasion..fonduechocolatepot with full of dipping around with it... fruits, ice cream, macaroons😍😍..they failed to ignite the candles underneath the fondue pot.. i recommend you to check whether it's done or not.

its the quality that speaks. the darkchocolatebomb was the one that tops the entire menu. if you are a darkchocolatefan its a must try. eiffel tower was presented good but its a usual brownie with icecream.

hi guys❤️ today after a tiring day i went to haagen dazs in nugambakkam khader nawaz khan road. the thing i liked the most was they had the pic of the dessert nearby so that it would be easy fa us to choose ... i was so particular about taking a pic .. v got two

dessert i orderd:

1.chocolatetasting journey ... it had 2 finger sized triangle ice cream, cupcake made ofchocolateice cream n whipping cream carrying a name board haagen dazs,a small cup filled with hot chocolate, and a brownie... except tat hotchocolateothers was gud.

2. the eiffel tower... base with brownie denchocolateice cream and hated with vanilla. shaped as eiffel tower. was very gud one

suggestion:
cost is tooo high ... these both came around 1700

there are a variety of flavours here. the belgianchocolateice cream with waffles have a really great flavour and the macadamia nuts ice cream with pancakes taste amazing as well. they could improve on their service as sometimes it is quite slow as they took quite a while to make the waffles and pancakes. servers are quite friendly. overall a good experience.

haagen dazs is a known ice cream brand throughout the world and everyone were going "ooooh haagen dazs is in chennai" when they stepped here. i seriously don't know what the hype is all about and i seriously didn't want to pay so much for the humble ice cream.

after a heavy lunch in mamagoto just down the road, my friends decided to head here for desserts. we decided to choose one of their ice cream platters (read : designer label) and went ahead with thechocolatetasting journey.

though it might sound like some high profilechocolatetasting session, it was nothing of that sort. just a few slabs of ice cream along with an ice cream cupcake and brownie served alongside a small mug of hot chocolate.

though the dessert was tasty on the whole, it didn't appeal much to me. am i going back? i don't think so.

this place is my favorite on the khader nawaz khan road. the place gives such a good vibe and its very pleasant and nice. we ordered the new addition on their menu, thechocolatevanilla ice cream cake and it was delicious. it just melted in the mouth.
after this we got ourselves the eiffel tower, and trust me that is so appealing to the eye, you wouldn't feel like breaking it.
it was heavenly and i enjoyed every bite that i had.
this place never disappoints, though its slightly expensive.
if you've had a bad day and you crave desserts thatll make you happy, this definitely is your go to.

ambience

as you would expect with haagen dazs, it is class personified. the aroma that you get the moment

you enter, almost entices you do look at what others are having. the decor is a plus point for sure,

and is also well spaced out.

food

after gawking at the menu for about 20 mins, we had built up our appetite and decided to order the

european fondue. the fondue had an assorted mix of macroons, pancakes, waffles, brownies, 16

little balls of 4 different icecream flavours and some strawberries and peach. after the platter was at the

table, there was silence for around 20 mins as we all dug in to have our share. every element on the

platter was delightful, especially those little balls of ice-cream. to sum up in one word, the platter

sumptuous. the warm meltedchocolatewas very rich and heavy. to top it off, there was this golden caramel sauce which tasted absolutely divine along with the dense brownie.

service

it took around 15 mins for our order to arrive, which is standard at any restaurant. would like to

commend our waiter who allowed us to substitute more of the fruits in favour of more brownies.

pricing

price is probably on the higher side of the scale, but definitely worth it on occasion.

ice cream is one of the most important things in my life! after being away for 10 weeks, i took my mom hoping i could have some heavenly scoops!

ordered a 7 scoop sundae just so that i could taste their signature flavours! the quantities were just too small and i regretted it the minute i saw it!

belgiumchocolateand vanilla was definitely worth it!
dulce deleche and coffee was above average while mango rasberry and cookies was just about average.

the fruits were a disaster! thechocolatesauce that was promised in the menu was not provided!

also, what's this new liquid nitrogen obsession?! completely unnecessary.

mom had a classic mango and mango rasberry which she found too sweet but was happy with her choice looking at mine.

despite being a die hard ice cream lover, and despite the monthly ice cream ritual, i step into haagen dazs only on special occasions. it’s not got to do with how expensive the ice creams are but for the finest quality of ice creams, i’ve tasted. when you need to celebrate a special occasion and you crave for an ice cream, now you know where you should head to!

for me, there are two types of ice creams - thechocolateones and the non-chocolate ones. though i try to give the other flavors a chance, my ice cream ritual isn’t complete unless there is a minimum of one scoop ofchocolateice cream in my sundae. what more do you need than the best belgianchocolateice cream and waffles in the city, to celebrate something special!

last month, my husband and i went to haagen dazs on our anniversary. after a heavy meal, i settled for a belgianchocolatesundae (single scoop) with some chocolate, raspberry sauce, fudge cookies and whipped cream. my husband opted for the haagen dazs (cookies and cream) crunch with cookies,chocolatesauce, and whipped cream. both our desserts were amazing. the richness of thechocolateand the cookies ice cream was fantastic. we relished every spoon of the ice cream and wished it would never end.

i’ve been to haagen dazs a couple of times before and i’m already wondering which occasion i should be spending there next!

i ordered an icecream platter where it has mini ice cream balls, fruits, waffle, cakes, macaroons ect..where we can dip it in the hotchocolateand eat. it was delicious, very filling and gets you a sugar rush very quickly. also very very expensive but worth it.

an elegant and upscale place where enter knowing that the prices will not be less! it was my birthday and just felt like giving it a try. had a basicchocolatesundae. the taste was good and ambience was also nice.
