below average. thisplaceused to be awesome. not anymore. we got 6 half grinders. none were very good. the pastrami was dry. so was the cheeseburger grinder. they raised their prices now too. roast beef was very plain.

the italian was good tho.

we wont be getting food from there again. its a shame cuz i remember thisplacebeing very good.

wonderful. thisplacehas the best grinders in ct, loaded with quality meats,served on fresh bread everytime...my favorite is the roast beef,and of course you have to get all the toppings,roasted peppers,tomato,and lettuce...my family has been getting grinders from here since i can remember.....my dad introduced me when i was a kid....it's now a greatplacei share with my son..love it!

gargantuan.... i saved the best for last on my brief trip to connecticut. i could not leave the state without having my beloved veal parm grinder. thisplacewas recommended by the staff at my hotel, and boy were they right. the "whole" sandwich that i ordered was $14, but fergoodnessakes it was enough for a family of four. but i'm solo, so i have plenty for breakfast. they did such a nice job, i went back and got a "half" pastrami and swiss for my layovers on the way back west. yeeeeup. that good. i love/hate you connecticut. these mom and pop pizza/grinder joints are everywhere here...

quality. i've known mo for over 30 years now, and if i want a pizza, where do i go? i travel 30 minutes for his. my dad is 90 years old, and he doesn't want any other pizza, nor does he want a grinder from anywhere else.

and his cold cuts, omg so good and such a great price.. thisplaceis great, if not i wouldn't be a customer for 30 years or more.

can't find a better pizza, or a better grinder, i don't care where you go.. # 1 in my book..

it's ok. my wife and i have eaten their once. we were looking for a quick bite to eat and decided to order the food and wait for it to go. we waited inside and found theplacewas like a furnace. i can't imagine what the kitchen staff was going through being by the oven/grill. the food was ok, i would eat their again but it wouldn't be my first choice.

greatplaceif you've just moved into the neighborhood.. brand new to the town of windsor locks, i was looking for a goodplaceto get grinders. h&m was just theplacei was looking for. great portions, great taste, great price. i only wish that the decor was updated a little bit. but hey, when the food is this good, you can let something like that pass.
