gyro house

amazing!. my daughter and i drove into the parking lot several times waiting for thisplaceto open, and were on their doorstep within days of opening. we are in love with gyro house! the lamb is amazing, the owners are so incredibly sweet (and cute), theplaceis spotless and the baklava is to die for!! personally, i think it's way better than mad greek (and waaaaay cleaner). you will not be disappointed. and for the reviewer who talked about a server being a little "off", we had him serving us recently, and my daughter was asking about him, too. i wonder if he doesn't speak english very well??? not sure. thank you, dear owners, for giving us a much-needed new dining option in this area.

revisiting my review based in over a year of visits. the physical size has doubled as they knocked out a wall and combined theplacenext door. they needed to as theplaceis always packed for lunch. the reason is that the gyro meet is so moist and flavor able that everyone loves this place. i've not eaten through the menu as each time i come i just come back to the lamb gyro . after a year still a greatplacefor food.

gyro's. typical strip mall restaurant. small with the kitchen visible. really good food. these guy's know how to cook a gyro and the lamb was excellent.

fantastic!. new to oregon and missing our favorite gyroplaceback home so we visited the gyro house mediterranean grill for the first time. had the biggest and best gyro ever and their hummus was smooth and delicious. the staff were so helpful and friendly we can't help but put them on our "best of beaverton" list! took home some baklava and can't wait to try it.

i had the gyro house cater my son's graduation party yesterday and it was fantastic! all of my guests were so impressed with how good the food was. everyone was asking where it was from and for directions to the restaurant:)
the brothers were so nice to work with and very accommodating. the food was fresh and ready when they said it would be. all i had to do was back in, they loaded it up and i was off to the party.
i love thisplaceand the family that runs it. you can tell how important family is to them and they all work together to make thisplacegreat.

great gyros. i went here today for the first time. i have been looking for a good gyroplacesince i moved out here from the twin cities a couple of years ago. the gyros were great! the bread was soft, ingredients were fresh and tasty and the portion was large (for the $5.99 price). as stated in other reviews, this is in a strip mall, so not a date night place, but great for lunch or carry out. very friendly staff. i highly recommend the gyro house for your next meal!

this is a greatplaceto have a gyro. a note though, the gyros are huge!!!!!!! the food is fantastic my go to is the iskandar plate. thisplacehas great food and the waiters can be pretty fun if you get a good one. grestplaceto go and eat.

we've been going to the gyro house almost since the day they opened their doors years ago, and it is still one of our favorite (if not the favorite)placeto eat in hillsboro. everything is a-mazing. i'm always so impressed with the wait-staff: service is fast even when they are slamming busy, which happens on a regular basis. the gyros are crazy huge and seasoned perfectly. (if you love garlic, be sure and order yours with the spicy garlic sauce - so good.) the chicken shawarma, while not prepared as traditionally as i'd like, is nevertheless savory and absolutely one of the best in the portland area. i don't hand out 5's on zomato often, but this one is well-deserved: i'd give thisplacea 6 if i could.

as always, the staff was friendly and welcoming. thisplaceis the go to restaurant if you are even remotely near it!

great food, great people. as young newlyweds, we've been trying to stick to our monthly budget, eating at home as much as possible and finding good, inexpensive restaurants for specials occasions. with that in mind, thisplaceis so great that we went back twice in one week.

the gyro house has amazing gyros, overflowingly stuffed with delicious gyro meat and other tasty morsels... those gyros are a great meal by themselves. gluttons for delicious things, 4 people split the large fries (about $4, so only a dollar more per person) and we were soooo full after the gyros and fries. i recommend getting the fries with garlic sauce and feta (for a very small nominal fee).

the people there make theplaceeven better. my retired parents travel quite a bit and love to learn about new cultures and history so they asked the restaurant people a lot of questions. they were all very friendly and willing to share their backgrounds and answer questions about all the very cool photographs that decorate the place. definitely aplaceworth coming back for many times over!!!

best gryoplacearound. thisplaceis the best gryoplacearound, they just added a fire brick oven so now they make there pitta bread from scratch and they added pizza's (with a mediterranean twist) to there menu which are freaking awesome.

i got exactly what is pictured - everyone is very friendly and i felt welcomed and comfortable in this restaurant i want to come back and make gyro house a frequentplaceto visit when i'm in the area, but, the food is just too rich for me, my body cannot tolerate this food very often, too many calories. the restaurant is casual and clean.
i recommend gyro because the people are so friendly, the food is tasty and you get what is advertised - it is just not my type of food.

very clean & excellent food. get here early because it fills up around lunch time. the rice dessert is a must have if you are lucky to get some before they run out. it has just the right amount of sweetness topped with pistachio pieces. one bite into the pudding will have you trying toplacethe fragrant essence of roses that that permeate every delicious spoonful.
