gyro house

revisiting my review based in over a year of visits. the physical size has doubled as they knocked out a wall and combined the place next door. they needed to as the place is always packed for lunch. the reason is that the gyro meet is so moist and flavor able that everyone loves this place. i've not eaten through the menu as each time i come i just come back to the lamb gyro . after a year still agreatplace for food.

gyro's. typical strip mall restaurant. small with the kitchen visible. really good food. these guy's know how to cook a gyro and the lamb was excellent.

great gyros. i went here today for the first time. i have been looking for a good gyro place since i moved out here from the twin cities a couple of years ago. the gyros were great! the bread was soft, ingredients were fresh and tasty and the portion was large (for the $5.99 price). as stated in other reviews, this is in a strip mall, so not a date night place, butgreatfor lunch or carry out. very friendly staff. i highly recommend the gyro house for your next meal!

as good as it gets! greathomemade food, which you can watch being made. the humus plate is wonderful. talk with the owner, he's a character and has a deep passion for what he does.

this is agreatplace to have a gyro. a note though, the gyros are huge!!!!!!! the food is fantastic my go to is the iskandar plate. this place hasgreatfood and the waiters can be pretty fun if you get a good one. grest place to go and eat.

worth driving out of your way for. this is how much my family loves this place:

my parents were in vancouver, washington for a day trip. in the evening, instead of driving north towards home, they drove the opposite direction into oregon all the way to the gyro house for dinner. that's easily 30 minutes (one way) out of their way to go specifically to this restaurant!

as always, the staff was friendly and welcoming. this place is the go to restaurant if you are even remotely near it!

great food,greatpeople. as young newlyweds, we've been trying to stick to our monthly budget, eating at home as much as possible and finding good, inexpensive restaurants for specials occasions. with that in mind, this place is sogreatthat we went back twice in one week.

the gyro house has amazing gyros, overflowingly stuffed with delicious gyro meat and other tasty morsels... those gyros are agreatmeal by themselves. gluttons for delicious things, 4 people split the large fries (about $4, so only a dollar more per person) and we were soooo full after the gyros and fries. i recommend getting the fries with garlic sauce and feta (for a very small nominal fee).

the people there make the place even better. my retired parents travel quite a bit and love to learn about new cultures and history so they asked the restaurant people a lot of questions. they were all very friendly and willing to share their backgrounds and answer questions about all the very cool photographs that decorate the place. definitely a place worth coming back for many times over!!!

this is by far some of the best mediterranean food i've had. andgreatservice to boot. friendly attentive staff with a gyro that is second to none... the spicy garlic sauce is a go to on a gyro... love it

yum yum yum yum yum. i love the gyros here. they are three times the size of any other greek or mediterranean restaurant i have ever eaten at. big thick chunks / strips of gyro with spicy garlic sauce and feta cheese. (moans!) the babaganouj and the hummous aregreathere too. friendly staff and owners. they even showed me how they make their babaganouj while i was waiting for a to-go order.

not a bad value. but...meat was dry and flavorless. if you wantgreatgreek food: gyros, slovaki, spanikopita, baklava...etc. nothing beats mad greek!!

amazing lebanese food!. everything was delicious. the grape leaves were nice and lemony the kibbe was hearty and good, the lamb was well seasoned. the basmanti rice was perfectly cooked and spiced.greatfood. go there!
