best seafood pasta in town!!!. if i could marry one of the chef's at gusto's i would!!!! this place has a nice view of the river, fantastic food and beautiful staff fresh from italy. so i go here once a month and i have a french martini with the linguine allo scoglio and the pear and rocket salad. this meal is sogreatthat i almost have it everytime i go there and now the staff even know me and know what i have everytime. thats what you callgreatservice with a smile!! so if you want to try a real italian restaurant thats ran by real italian's then this is the place for you, their english might not be 100% but thats the charming part of trying food from all around the world. enjoy!!

feels like fine dining to me?.greatplace. tried the margherita pizza at a few places from goldcoast to sunshine coast and never had one as good as from here. the flavours really come through in gianni's pizza. a bit pricey but i guess it's worth it since the waiters and waitresses were spot on with service. and they didn't mind having a quick laugh with me after my 3rd glass of wine...

cold tortelinni. i have eaten here several times now, and this is the 1st time i have had anything negative to say. unfortunately as with other posts my tortellini was cold. my wife ordered the linguine allo scoglio two of the clams came out unopened. for a quality restaurant this shouold not happen. the service wasgreatbut for the price you pay you'd expectgreatfood.

gianni and his team were so good tonight. agreatatmosphere with very pleasant service.

we were part of a table of about 12 or 14.greatservice. food was quite good, although a bit pricey for the servings. on a nice day, there was a nice view over the river. would recommend outside dining provided the weather is okay.

came here with some family friends on their last night in australia and had agreatexperience. menu is a little on the expensive side but the portion sizes and food quality is well worth it. 👌🏼the staff were wonderful, friendly, and the service was prompt. some of the pasta dishes were a little rich but that’s so be expected. would definitely recommend the lychee-rose martini for anyone who likes rose scented/flavoured things as it was delicious! 🍸 the location is also really nice as it’s huddled among a bunch of other restaurants and looks out onto the brisbane river and the city. i forgot to take a photo of my food but at least i got one of the view enjoy!

we absolutley love the pizzas here. we had the 4 cheese pizza,the blue cheese and pear making this pizza burst with flavour.the base is the perfect thickness and crispyness. the service wasgreatand restaraunt outside seating area was perfect for this sunny day.

as a fan of big eats and large portions, as well as high quality foods i'd recommend gianni's 9 times out of 10. very high quality andgreatmenu items, not overly complicated. the only issue i had was i couldn't make my mind up. staff are fantastic, food is fantastic. definite top 5 best italian meals i've had. 100% recommend.

the antipasto wasgreatbut myself and a friend both ordered the seafood linguini and the clam shells were cracked leaving shards of shell in our food. not pleasant when you crunch down on it. just wasn't up to the standard i expect of one of my favourite italian restaurants. the staff aregreat

visited gusto da gianni for a first date this week, and it was lovely! the attentive, friendly, cheerful staff really made agreatimpression. my date had one of the pizzas, which i tried and it wasgreat- a crisp crust and really fresh toppings. i had massive plate-envy, because i had one of the pastas, and didn't love it. not the restaurant's fault though, there was nothing wrong with the pasta and i'm sure plenty would rave about it - but it was a poor choice on my part (much heavier and less flavoured than i was feeling like on the night). i would go again, if only to have a pizza all to myself!

the arancini ball entrée was very average at best then the 60 minute wait for our mains where testing my nerves but it was well worth the wait. my steak was cooked to perfection with delicious sides and my wife's duck and 3 cheese pasta was one of the nicest pastas i have ever had the pleasure of trying. their was plenty of staff around but seemed like not agreatdeal was getting done. overall i would prefer to go somewhere else but i'm sure my wife will be dragging me back so she can try another one of the pastas.

definitely my favourite. not sure what all the negative fuss is about this place. we are going there for years and have not been disappointed.
it is honest, rustic, classic italian cooking. we go there to have agreattime and surely we have never had a bad experience.
the beef cheeks today where perfectly cooked and i love the different wine they have now as specials, some really interesting back vintages.
they look after our kids needs,greatspecials and yes, it’s a bit pricier but the portions are large and at least you don’t have to spend $100.00 per person to get attentive table service which many places in brisbane fail to do.

busy tuesday night, yet service was spot on. anothergreatnight at gusto. not sure what all the complaints are from other diners, we have never been disappointed. happy to see that the rolled pork belly stayed on the menu. the staff works hard but have always time to give a little extra attention to our kids too. well done guys we love coming back to little italy.

fabulous. my partner and i like to treat oursleves to a nice restaurant when the occasion arises and this place is always our pick! the customer service at gusto's is one of a kind with very attentive, friendly, fun and polite staff. our food has been delicious with genorous servings, although paying for water is my only fault with this place.greatitalian, beautiful atmosphere and wonderful service! everyone has different experiences but give it more than one go you won't be disappointed :)

we really enjoyed a family lunch.
the only thing we didn't enjoyed was the pizza that was soggy.
had that in the past and always been spot on.

dined there last sunday night ...private function (wedding) meant the outside was busy.
no booking- no problem...we were welcomed, seated and settled with the minimum of fuss.
the menu is new since our last visit as well as the specials explained by our charming italian waiter.
service was quick and friendly. good delicious and portions very generous. my husbands tagliatelle marinara contained lots of lovely fresh seafood and my mum and i loved our fish (barramundi for me and swordfish for mum). an excellent wine selection and with dessert we had raspberrycello which was divine!
pan d'oro tiramisu an inspired festive addition! what a lovely meal!!

buon gusto- grazie gianni!!! an insanely busy night - wedding and all but we were greeted warmly- seated promptly and within minutes had a crisp wine and delicious bruschetta. friendly staff checked in us regularly and the charming gianni dropped by all through the evening. our meals were fresh and delicious- my risotto was perfection! gianni recommended the suckling pork and my husband practically licked the plate clean!! our friends loved their linguini..... such a wonderful evening withgreatatmosphere! grazie gianni! x

another visit and another delicious meal. greeted warmly by the charming blue eyed italian owner gianni- we settled into a leisurely lunch of the freshest qld seafood, grilled to perfection served simply on rocket with salsa. absolutely delightful. service was a little slow but didn't really worry us. portions very generous, beautifully served. can't wait to go back and have that barramundi again!! grazie gianni!!
