gourmet burger shop

we decided to try this place out since we were craving someburgersand like supporting local restaurants. we get there and they are kind of busy, no big deal, we order and pay for our food, leave a $5 tip even before we get our food. the server then delivered us the wrong burgers, and tried to blame it on us. when we brought them back saying our order was wrong the server blamed us for saying we claimed the wrongburgerswhen he actually just handed us the burgers, we then overheard the cooks calling us a "fucking dumbass" because the wrong order didnt have the correct side so we obviously shouldn't have accepted them. we then walked out, no refund even because we were done with the harassment at that point, no correct food given. extremely unprofessional, will not be coming back, we did nothing to deserve treatment like that.

excellent food! theburgershere are exceptional. this is one of our weekly stops for our family and we always bring out of town guests here to enjoy a great local establishment. the shakes are off the charts as well!

the bestburgersand shakes. they have great soups and salads. the ingredients are super fresh. better than anyburgersi had elsewhere. we were just passing through and found this place on zomato. will try to visit on next trip to seattle.

this isn’t your typical burger shop.  in a culture where advertising isn’t always what it seems and the pictures don’t always reflect what you get, in this case they really did get it right:  theseburgersare gourmet. the moment we took our first bite it was evident that theseburgersare made with quality ingredients.  the meat has a better texture and flavor and is accompanied by fresh ingredients like thick-cut crisp tomatoes and a variety of leafy greens.  other touches that stand out are the locally made hamburger buns baked fresh daily, aged tillamook cheddar, quality gorgonzola and the thickest-cut bacon you’ve ever seen on a burger.

little bit of good news. this is a burger that even taken to go is juicy, tasty, cooked perfectly and towers over all others in the area even bo"s. their french fries and onion rings travel home and stay crunchy until you get there. and there is flavor off the charts. i can not say enough about gig harbor finally having gourmetburgersand at reasonable pricing. burger and fries or rings 10 bucks! come on, take it to go and eat the fries as you drive home, betcha can not eat just one. they are finger licking good too, garlic, season salt and maybe that green stuff is flat leaf spicy italian parsley, i dunno how they do it, but tim and liz are serious burger addicts and finally have a way to get our fix right here in town. thank you travis and derek!!

i will go back!. i actually live in n seattle, but am over in kitsap almost every weekend, and i would make a point of visiting this establishment again on my way home (i heard they were moving too, so hopefully they'll be less off the beaten path). i was craving a burger and this is the place we stumbled upon that night. oddly enough, once i got there, the vegetarian burger sounded more amazing than anything else; and it was delicious (potato, pesto, goat cheese, how can you go wrong?)!! my bbq chips were also really good! my dining companions tried otherburgersand onion rings and fries and i got to sample all of it, everything was delicious! my tomato was actually red! my lettuce wasn't iceburg! since we were specifically looking for new places to eat that night we dined in, and it was a bit chilly(door doesn't shut itself and several people left it open), and i can see how we would have had a problem if it had been too crowded. the seating is limited inside, but i would stop an pick stuff up to take with me too!! must try!! and good luck to them in their new location, wherever it may be!

simply the bestburgersever!! and not only great burgers, but awesome oysters, crab cakes, incredible potato salad, and delish beet chips! i can't eat a burger at another place without longing for one from the gourmet burger shop.

don't let the humble appearance of the place fool you. inside you will find the most gloriousburgersyou've ever tasted. brioche buns are freshly made daily by the bakery across the street and the meat is juicy and never dry. flavors are bold and daring without being pretentious, and portions are generous. don't miss the bacon blue cheese potato salad!!! this restaurant is truly the gem of the key peninsula! you would definitely regret not stopping by...

this place has the bestburgersand fries around. price is reasonable and the staff is friendly. i never leave hungry. two thumbs up!

an excellent burger. the gourmet burger shop serves up excellent angusburgerson local bakery rolls and they are +++'s beyond any other local eatery. they have a gorgonzola and avocado burger, a mushroom swiss burger with truffled aioli sauce, an all american burger with cheddar cheese to name a few of the options. for vegetarians they have a grilled portotabella burger that my husband thinks is exquisite and he's not a vegetarian. i love the all american burger because the taste is superb and the quality of the beef excels, far surpassing any burger joint. you can have beet chips cole slaw or shoestring herb fries--all made on the premises with each order. each burger is under $9 and they have no freezer so it's all made fresh. 5 stars in my book!!
