gourmet burger shop

yum. picture your best day on the grill, with all the toppings you always forget, and your very own deep fat fryer. it seats about 10 inside, and 10 outside on the patio. but the meat is no presto patty and the buns are almost like kaiser rolls. even my two kids inhaled their bugers. we had the classic, a bacon cheddar and a gorgonzola avocado. shoestring fries are so thin, you could lace up with one. onion rings were mouth-melting o's of joy. we will be back. with friends. still need to try the beet chips!

we decided to try this place out since we were craving some burgers and like supporting local restaurants. we get there and they are kind of busy, no big deal, we order and pay for our food, leave a $5 tip even before we get our food. the server then delivered us the wrong burgers, and tried to blame it on us. when we brought them back saying our order was wrong the server blamed us for saying we claimed the wrong burgers when he actually just handed us the burgers, we then overheard the cooks calling us a "fucking dumbass" because the wrong order didnt have the correct side so we obviously shouldn't have accepted them. we then walked out, no refund even because we were done with the harassment at that point, no correct food given. extremely unprofessional, will not be coming back, we did nothing to deserve treatment like that.

excellent food! the burgers here are exceptional. this is one of our weekly stops for our family and we always bring out of town guests here to enjoy a great local establishment. the shakes are off the charts as well!

love this place! we moved to gig harbor from seattle where we had a myriad of amazing burger choices. we come here whenever we’re missing one of our fav seattle burger spots. ingredients are quality and i love the shoestring fries.

the best burgers and shakes. they have great soups and salads. the ingredients are super fresh. better than any burgers i had elsewhere. we were just passing through and found this place on zomato. will try to visit on next trip to seattle.

great shakes that are made on site fresh definitely recommend the caramel salted was great they have a good microbrew menu some decent ipas the french fries were unique it's a good burger joint well done

this isn’t your typical burger shop.  in a culture where advertising isn’t always what it seems and the pictures don’t always reflect what you get, in this case they really did get it right:  these burgers are gourmet. the moment we took our first bite it was evident that these burgers are made with quality ingredients.  the meat has a better texture and flavor and is accompanied by fresh ingredients like thick-cut crisp tomatoes and a variety of leafy greens.  other touches that stand out are the locally made hamburger buns baked fresh daily, aged tillamook cheddar, quality gorgonzola and the thickest-cut bacon you’ve ever seen on a burger.

good burgers. both my husband and i had the bacon cheddar burger, it was good, although it is my habit to request it to be cooked medium rare as there are way too many places that serve dried up charcoal burgers! while it was not actually cooked medium rare it was still moist and flavorful, very good. not a fan of the shoestring fries, onion rings or crab wontons we ordered so next time i will try the potato salad or soup.

dreadful. probably the worse experience i have had in 5 years at any restaurant. if i could rate it below a star i would. 100 minutes to serve a party of 5 and we only received half of our burnt over cooked food. we sent back most of it to be remade. i asked for a very rare pink burger and i got well done and burnt. the fried and onions rings came out 15 minutes after our food arrived and they were disgusting. the match sticks fries were over cooked and salty and inedible. the onions rings were greasy and inedible too. it took 85 minutes to receive milk shake too.

when you walk in you have to seat yourself. no big deal but we had to ask to get the table cleaned. we sat in an elevated table that was very uncomfortable. to order you have to walk up to the cashier counter. i had to remember 5 orders. i had to serve myself all the water and sodas for 5. you prepay for everything and there is a spot of a tip. are you kidding me!!!! after about 95 minutes and asking at least 3 times when the food was going to come out we contemplated leaving but they already had our money. the worse dining experience ever!!!!

there were 3 table ahead of us and were waiting for who knows how long. one table that had been there at least 20 minutes before us received there order about 60 minutes after we arrived and they only got half there order too.

how long does it take to make a burger..........3 minutes a side? i think the cook left the restaurant. there is no other explanation. i have talked with my fellow gig harbor residents and everyone i have talked with has had a similar experience. i think the positive reviews for this restaurant are lies!!!!

little bit of good news. this is a burger that even taken to go is juicy, tasty, cooked perfectly and towers over all others in the area even bo"s. their french fries and onion rings travel home and stay crunchy until you get there. and there is flavor off the charts. i can not say enough about gig harbor finally having gourmet burgers and at reasonable pricing. burger and fries or rings 10 bucks! come on, take it to go and eat the fries as you drive home, betcha can not eat just one. they are finger licking good too, garlic, season salt and maybe that green stuff is flat leaf spicy italian parsley, i dunno how they do it, but tim and liz are serious burger addicts and finally have a way to get our fix right here in town. thank you travis and derek!!

first time experience. we stopped in yesterday afternoon around 1:45. it was our first time and we thought we would give it a try. there were 3 people having their lunch so it wasn't a busy time. we ordered an american burger and and sat down and waited and waited. after 15 minutes we were offered some chips along with an apology for the wait. during this time we noticed a number of vehicles going through the drive thru getting coffee. another several minutes passed when our order finally arrived. it seemed as though the service priority was misplaced with prompt attention paid to those driving thru for drinks over those waiting inside for food orders. this seemed to change as more people came inside and didn't have to wait as nearly as long as we did. as for the burger, we can only say it was disappointing as it was mediocre in taste. maybe, we will try it again but the first time experience tends to stick around in thought.
