busy breakfast/brunch spot in the tourist area. we tried the pork belly benedict, a kalua pigbenedicton taro muffin and a guava juice and 100% maui coffee.  the hollandaise sauce was overly sweet, while the eggs and meats were good. also the okinawian purple potatoes were different but lack much flavoring. similarly the coffee was just ho-hum.  the nalo greens on side was the hit, nicely dressed, but who goes out for a breakfast salad, right? at full on tourist trap prices, there are better breakfasts to be had, even in waikiki.

love the food here. if i had stayed in honolulu longer, i would of tried to dine here more often. atmosphere casual, friendly staff. in walking distance from waikiki, easy transport there & easy to find as it sits on top of a abc shop (equivalent to a 7 evelen shop & situated everywhere in oahu) or just down the road from aqua palms hotel or hawaiian hilton. it pays to book in advance alot of the time or depending on busy periods as this restaurant is small. pricing is not too bad, as quality of food is great. ginger brulee is divine, eggsbenedictis yummy. we ate here 5 times!! would definitely recommend to try this restaurant if your in the area.

best kalua pork eggsbenedictand loco moco we've had! the kalua pork eggsbenedictcomes with a kale salad and slightly crispy pieces of taro which were the perfect accompaniment to the melt in your mouth kalua and their house made hollandaise. you also have the option of wheat or taro buns with your eggs benny, i chose the taro buns which were slightly sweet and crispy and went so well with the rest of the dish. the only let down was that my egg yolks were not as runny as i would've liked but overall the flavours and textures of the entire dish eaten together was just absolutely delicious!

my partner had the loco moco and boy were they generous with the gravy and rice. the patty and gravy were seasoned really well and it tasted very indulgent. if we had more time in oahu i would come back here time and time again!!

unique experience and tasty beautiful food. i got here at 315pm, no waiting. has the eggsbenedict(salmon and spinach on taro english muffin) with lillikoi (passion fruit) cream in lieu of hollindase with a sharp kale salad. unfortunately although the purple potatoes were beautiful, they were boiled alone so we're just big limps of tasteless purple starch (no seasoning, no crisp. if i lived in hawaii i'd take them home and fry them with chopped onions and some seasoning). a highlight of eating this trip!

one of the best meals we had in honolulu. we had eggsbenedictwith pulled pork and pork belly. you have a choice between a taro muffin or wheat. go for the taro. they serve thebenedictwith purple potatoes and kale. excellent creamy hollandaise and the meats both had a wonderful flavor. add some sriracha for a kick. also had the ginger a creme brûlée and coffee jello for dessert. jello was interesting but not very sweet. creme brûlée was the winner. about $54 including tip for breakfast for two, but a lovely experience and delicious food.

yummy!! everything at goofy's is fresh, affordable and delicious. i had the salmon spinach eggsbenedicton a taro muffin and the dish also came with local sweet potatoes and local, tender kale. my mom ordered the green spaghetti which was bursting with fresh basil flavour and garnished with macadamia nuts and garlic shrimp. the place is cute and cozy and i love how the food is not overly salty as it tends to be at other restaurants. goofy's uses only local and organic foods that are naturally delicious on their own!
