best breakfast i've ever had!!! hands down the best eggs benedict around. i don't think i've ever had one sub par meal. the popovers on the dinner menu with the pistachio butter are out of this world. favorite place to eat!!

perfect. stopped in for late breakfast. it's a limited breakfast menu but what we had was perfect, even the toast. great service, too, and prompt. i see some reviewers think it may be pricey, but i think it's worth it because food properly seasoned, didn't need salt or even pepper.

overrated and expensive. the prices are ridiculous ($13-$14 for an eggs benedict) and the food is totally overrated.

they don't even have a website where they display their menu because most people probably wouldn't go to this restaurant if they saw the prices.

i'm sick of reading reviews about restaurants by pay-per-reviwers where clearly you can see plenty of those are writing for yelp.com for this place.

food absolutely disgusting. the chicken fried chicken and broccoli tasted microwaved. my broccoli was cold. i will never come here again. on my scale of 1 to 10th i give this place a 4. the most enjoyable part of my meal was the orange juice.

great place.. great food. i had went to the good day cafe on a sunday morning with my 2 children around 8:30 am. suprisingly we were sat immedietly and were welcomed by our server brittany while she gave us waters and had them prepared in plastic cups for my two young ones. being my first time i asked what she recomended.. she had gone over the menu pointing out top selling things, what the difference between a souffle and french omelet were, and had helped us make great choices. she was very helpful. i had ordered the crab cake benedict and fell in love. my children had pigs in a blanket and silver dollar pancakes. our server made sure to bring crayons and paper for my kids to be entertained in the short time period we waited for food. as well as keeping my coffee hot. food was amazing and my kids enjoyed. i will most definetly return and request brittany again. she was simply wonderful and made our visit great.

great service!. this restaurant is a frequent breakfast haunt for my family of four. the food is always great, but today the service is what inspired my review. while i always seem to leave pleased with my service, my waitress was simply wonderful this morning even in less than ideal situation. picture the sunday morning rush... my dear waitress gracefully accepting that she had been "triple sat" with a smile and great service to boot. thank you dear, you made our day.

good day cafe comes through. there's not a lot i can add in terms of reviewing the food. it is very good. the coffee is yummy. the dining room bright and welcoming.

where they came through for us today was in service. as you might expect, late on a saturday morning, the place was jamming. a 45 minute wait is what the hostess told us. being first timers here we hoped it would be worth the wait. we were seated after about 30 minutes. you could tell the servers were really hopping. our server, stephanie, got us coffee quickly and then went off to get her other tables caught up. she came back shortly, refilled our coffe and took our orders. i had the bacon cheddar souffle omelet while my wife picked the apple souffle pancake. our food arrived after a reasonable amount of time (the pancakes take a little longer. if you have one you'll know why). they were delivered by a runner. our server came by a minute later, took one look at our food and said it looked over done. now i don't mind my eggs a bit passed done but the pancake souffle was definitely a bit charred. stephanie took my wife's pancake and said she was going to fix things. she came back an instant later with the owner / manager (?) who asked me if i wanted a new omelet. i'd rather eat something the way the chef intended it to served. sure i'll take a new one. while stephanie hurried away to take care of business the manager explained how things can go bad on a busy line. i've been in the business for years, no explanation required. what was exceptional was how they caught the problem and fixed it post haste. i'm sure the person manning the pass got an earful. the boss told us how stephanie came from another popular eatery and brought many customers with her due to her attentiveness as a server. (stephanie, over hearing the praise commented that he was just trying to get her to work a double shift :-))

bottom line, go to good day cafe for good food, bright atomosphere and interesting menu. stand in line for 30 minutes to be waited on by stephanie.

nothing special at all. the food is just ok- standard breakfast fare done better than you will get at a perkins or greasy spoon, but definitely nothing special. service is very mediocre, and the place is generally packed and noisy.

had a great, healthy breakfast on my first visit and soup on my next, for carry out. have been very satisfied with the food and flavor with everything i've tried... fantastic chix noodle soup! yes, it's pricey and bustling inside with fun people watching (older crowd from the surrounding burbs showing off their range rovers and yoga duds), but fun to partake the experience once in a while. fun time and great eats.... come with an empty belly and a thick wallet! :)

first timer. friend recommended for great b-fast place. i had good corn beef hash and eggs. noticed on menu that the apple pancake is "walker bros classic." so if you're familiar with walker bros original pancake house you know this place pretty good. gigantic omelettes and cakes/waffles.

low quality food and ok service.

i was pleasantly surprised by how good the food is. this place is right down the road from our house but we never stopped in. i saw it listed on urban spoon and thought we would give it a try for breakfast. wow! the food and service were excellent. this will become a regular breakfast stop.
