it doesn’t take too much searching around before you find some local chefs that really know their pastas. indeed, the quintessential italian dish to try before all else is spaghetti and meatballs. if you find an italian restaurant that makes a satisfactor

classic. this is one of the most classic italian restaurants baton rouge has to offer. the prices may be steep, but the food, service, and atmosphere make it worth while.
i would recommend the gino's bread!

gino's restaurant has been a staple of the baton rouge restaurant community since it's establishment in 1966.(still family owned & operated) they've got a warm & cozy low lit atmosphere that lends to the romantic. very beautiful and perfect for a romantic

in all fairness the food was decent. that having been said, the rest is crap. overpriced with very slow and poor service.

best italian food in town!! family owned and operated! love the lasagna, chicken parmasean, and lawrence bread is a must! if your looking for great food, atmosphere, and an amazing wine list...try gino's!

yummmm!!!!!. i live for ginos. they are so good. the first night i went my boyfriend prposed to me and we had a very wonderful dinne. we had a perfect table set right next to the wine cache where he pulled out my beautiful ring... order the bow tie pasta with the meat sauce. its amazing! or the veal parm delicious. the whole menu is delicious. go go go go! lol

ahhh, gino's. if you want atmosphere and great italian cuisine gino's is the restaurant of choice.

gino's is my favorite italian restaurant. forget the chain restaurants and give gino's a try!

i'm done. i really wanted to like this restaurant! i don't like chains... i love family-owned, mom-n-pop shops, dives, authentic. the first time i went was for my birthday lunch. they "forgot" to give my order for lambchops to the chef. promised a free dessert to make up for it. got charged anyway. second time i went, the tomatoes for the caprese salad (which they call capri) were refrigerated into tastelessness, the veal marsala was cold and really unextraordinary. i am done!

yum. i love gino's and have been going there for years. their lunch menu is very affordable. but, my all-time favorite is to order the laurence bread and get the crawfish arancine with angel hair pasta and pink sauce -- make your tongue slap your brains out!
