gino's italian ristorante

as always, we had a great meal at gino's.  we had a great little corner table and one of the best waitresses we have had in a long time.  we always have good service at gino's but jennifer was so personable and she just stood out.  this is such an awesome restaurant.  ilovethe way gino is almost always there and greets his customers at some point during their meal.

welovegino's! the food and service is always amazing. every course, from wine to dessert, never leaves us disappointed. we went here tonight to celebrate my husbands birthday with a party of 7 and a child and we were treated wonderfully. had wonderful food and they made for an unforgettable birthday.
i recommend you always make a reservation.
i also recommend the stuffed mushrooms, house salad, specials, veal parm and tiramisu!

super fantastic italian food! hands down the best gnocchi i have ever had (and ilovegnocchi)! service is amazing and the teamwork is obvious. had a visit from the owner and he's wonderful too!

one of my favorite restaurants ever. my wife and ilovegoing there on date night. the atmosphere is great and the food is to die for.

too close to my house!. i absolutelylovethis place! if i had one complaint it is that it is too close to my house and thus a temptation that i can never seem to get talked out of from my family! the food is fantastic, the staff is great and of course gino is awesome! two favorites are the filet and the ribeye - which is really saying something as i am very picky when it comes to my steak! i don't think i have ever had anything there that i would not order again.

like gino's. i really like gino"s! i like them downtown. and, now that they have moved... i find ilovethe location more... downtown is so over rated! food is great and great wine list.... owner's are wonderful....

menu. please update your online menu. you have fantastic seafood options and desserts! with a new born baby we don't always get the chance to get out for dinner...but we'dloveto order for pick up. it would be great to have the benefit of your entire menu to choose from.

you cannot deny great italian!. welovegino's! the staff, robert and rachel you pour a great drink and always manage to spend time to visit! gino, you always are a great host and come to say hello and weloveyour great robert graham shirts! seeing your mom is always a treat as well since she shines in her joy in your success! the calamari, gnocci, veal saltambocco is beyond anything we have ever eaten in the states! just like itallia! we have a stack of your business cards and hand them out always to anyone that has not shared in the great experience at your wonderful restaurant. hats off to you and your team for all that you do! we know your recipes are secret, but even if you came out with a cookbook, no one could do what you can do since you give all of your heart in sharing a part of italy with you clients! if anyone complains about having to drive to get to you, tell them to hop on the new ten mile exit and it is worth the15 minute drive from downtown! we live in bridgetower, so we do have a great advantage! cheers and two shots of grappa !

not overly impressed : (. although my parentslovethis place i have to say i was not impressed at all! i ordered the baked ziti and figured for a price tag of $12 it would be big enough to share with my 5 year old. boy was i wrong! this place must be making awesome profit with how little their servings are. also it by far was not the best ziti i've ever had. it was penne pasta mixed with some marinara and then topped with cheese which was over broiled (not burnt but tough). then to top it off i had to take my newborn baby out to my car to change his diaper because there was no infant changer in the bathroom! are babies not supposed to come to this restaurant???

its not gino's downtown. gino is a great guy and i use tolovehis place downtown, but as with many restaurants that expand, they lose something in quality and service. its not a huge change, but it is not the same! the same can be said of a few that have succeeded and moved on. i know gino is not involved as much as he was all those years ago. i don't blame him, its a tough job! i am sure he will do well as its a pleasant place to go and the food is decent still, but its not on top of my best places...sorry gino :(

met friends for dinner and we all fell inlovewith gino's. our waiter was outstanding and very attentive besides recommending perfect wines to compliment our meal. my girlfriend and i couldn't decide on an entree so we handpicked our ingredients and the chef made us a fantastic dish, even recommending a few ingredients that were perfect. you won't be disappointed!

absolutely astounding selection of food. and the quality of it tastes very fresh. but really the only thing better than the food is that atmosphere. the new places that gino's relocated to is very calm and relaxing. another point that must be made is that the waiters/waitresses are very nice and make sure you're well accomated. and the owner of the business, gino himself comes around personally to make you're enjoying your time. if you not friends with him when you first arrive, i promise you will be by the end of you meal. trust me, just try it out once and you'llloveif.
