ghajali had a very good biryani earlier and ordered thinking abt same . but regret
very poor quality of biryani this time and complete waste of money not
even worth 100 rs . think twice before ordering

the chicken ghee roast is fantastic the melange of spices
rustic taste perfectly cooked chicken is bliss
then comes ne’er dose the best i had

we tried bombay duck fry
this is a bit oily but tate’s great n is melt in mouth fare

chilly milly kebab in veg can be better

ghee rice is fabulous

methi chaman curry n rotis are perfect duo

got infected by food poison!
we were four friends who went to this restaurant on 17 th of this month. out of us one was vegetarian the rest of us ordered the same non veg dish. the 3 of us who ate non veg from this restaurant got food poison..

the place is beautiful and the ambience is amazing
but the food quality is pretty low especially for such a big establishment. the food standard is very low and the demanding price for each item is very high.

this place is famous for sea food , ambiance is good be it indoor or outdoor , but comparing to other seafood hotels little bit over priced for fish dishes.

tradition says it all... mumbai ho ya manglore swaad is always awesome. garden seating with a glass of poison and the famous surmai masala.....never ending experience.

sea food galore . amazing prawn dishes . spread over a sprawling green location gajalee has great interior and good service . some dishes seem overpriced , but the quality of the food and service is unquestionable . for all sea food lovers , this is your place .

been in the beautiful city of managalore for a month now and used to pass gajalee every day, but just somehow didn't get a chance to go in. now while it's pouring cats and dogs outside, i couldn't resist going in on my last day and let me tell you awesome is a small word to define food and ambience at gajalee. while enjoying squid butter garlic with a pint of beer, cursing myself why i wasn't here everyday. enjoying the lovely surmai curry and rice, while typing this message....:-)

we went today afternoon it was almost empty. in spite of their car parking was empty they had blocked it for general public like us and i guess were waiting for some vip guest to arrive. so we were asked to park in other side of road which i felt is rude considering current mangalore weather in which as a family we were asked to walk across the road . ordered for chicken sukka and neerdosa it was ok not that great. however what lacks is service from staff ; we had to call out to get their attention. overall average experience; management needs to work on customer experiences.

a very beautiful place that would keep pulling me to dine at. you have great biriyanis and sea food is something everyone has to try. tandoori prawns is something very pleasing. i was happy with the size, the number and the quality of prawn served but i am really not sure if the taste works fine for me, lacks flavors, doesn't have the right balance of spices. it's something that you wouldn't be happy at once it's inside your mouth. i felt it like a bbq 'd prawn marinated in mud. i am really saddened the way it tasted. something you need to worry at gajalee!

brilliant place to sit out in the open and enjoy some really good seafood. they've got an elaborate menu with lots of variety. you can also have a few drinks and soak in the lovely view you get from up here

good ambience. had ghee roast chicken, chicken biryani and chocolate mousse. food was good. chocolate mousse was too good. first time had chicken roasted in ghee.

fish was stale n that was the only thing wrong....
