menu gets better and better. have become something of a regular at 'the pond" and every time it's better and better!!
now offering a huge gluten free menu as well, but i have fallen in love with the chicken tikka masala and the scotch eggs (these are specials right now but going on new menu). for dessert, try the bread and butter pudding with custard...yummy. thisplaceis a gem, they are moving soon and will have beer and wine..can't wait :)

bloody brilliant all round - 5 stars. honestly, i have no idea whatsoever what these negative reviews are about - i strongly believe that these are
unscrupulous "rivals" trying to poison a rightly growing reputation of kindness and excellence. they are so far wide of the mark that is all i can think of.
the owners of this establishment, which was great when it was joes, excel at providing amazing care and attention to every single customer i have seen there in out 15-20 visits and, far from "skaterboy" wait staff, the restaurant is entirely family run by mom, dad, son, daughter in law, younger son and 'adopted" daughter - i have sent dozens of people to "cross the pond" and, to a man and woman, they have loved the food, service and kindness shown them - yes it can, at times, be a little slow, but that's because the food is cooked to order rather than heated up outta a bag.
now, onto the food, which the star telegram professional critic thought was outta this world, draw your own conclusions on these "foodies" motives, my family love the english specials and the pizza too, an old reminder, of their great ny pizza style days but i have celiac friends that claim it's the best gf menu in texas, to their knowledge. try it and see i guess.
these owners, i think it's lee and emma, are exactly what we need - hands-on, loving and considerate owners, more worried about your experience than turning a quick buck on you so ignore the one or two frauds here and go experience what they do first hand
thanks guys and see you wednesday night for real football season ;-)
