very fewmenuchoices, food quality is also not good. problem is only they accept cash, no card no gpay no phonope. just a over rated place.

the most overrated restaurant in ludhiana. theremenuis so short and most importantly all the items taste just sucks. it is running only because of some old time heritage but now as we have top class restaurant providing excellent food for same bucks, it is just not worth. so better spend your money on some new restaurants if you really want to enjoy the food.

a limitedmenueatery with an extremely fast and quick service. they serve only paranthas and about 3-4 veggies to go along. the seating is spread over two floors. wash basin is outside the eatery and inside as well. it is right on the main road.

food quality is terrific. especially the salads. they are fresh cut, including beetroots, cucumber and carrots. the salads are served with salt in a small pouch. they also give complimentary onion salad along with pickles. the portion sizes are huge. punjab style.

good place to have a hearty meal.

one of oldest and finest dhabas of the city. it is known for its taste. they have very limitedmenubut everything on it is tasty undoubtedly. try to visit on weekdays as it is overcrowded on weekends . service is kinda good. but cleanliness is an issue. but yeah no flaw of this dhaba can overcome its taste.

overhyped outlet of ludhiana. the dal and paneer (famous items) had nothing special but had creamy texture and had no flavour. u will have to request the staff formenuand food.. ludhiana has many other vegetarian outlets far better than friends...

worst place. serving half plate in terms of paneer item for them is just a a very small bowl with which i can be pretty sure that a one can have only one chapati/tandoori roti max. having said, i spoke to the owner and his son about the qty issue n price, they were like " humare yha toh itni milti hai, paneer is 300/kg andmenuis there. apko pehle dkhna tha before ordering".

amazing food they serve. despite shortmenuthey serve amazing food with good flavours. and the salad is amazing too. though there is space on groundfloor and first floor but still there is no space to sit as its a famous dhaba

the dal fry specialist ....!!!
i have never been ate the dal fry like they served. well perfect cooked. the staff are also very polite. the owner has an personal supervision over the things .. the food is super awsum ..
cons: themenushould be wide .. they have less choices.

food was okay. it did not have any specialmenuto be wowed off. staff was a bit rude to some customers not me. there is a salad vendor outside the dhaba, do try his salads, they are simple but healthy.

another dhaba which is very well known among the ludhianvis. they have a limitedmenubut everything is really well prepared. budget friendly and quick service. their specialty is dal makhni, malai kofte and shahi paneer.

very congested and tight place. loads of parking problems. food is over-hyped. many better options available in the market. best known for its dal and paneer. limitedmenubut that's okay as long as you like what you eat

wanna have a sumptuous black dal tadka? an accompanying lachha parantha that's drenched with butter? a perfect dhaba meal with family - friends dhaba is the place to be!

located in the heart of the city (where of course a complex roadmap of arteries and veins i.e. small and rushy roads), this place has been ruling the heart of ludhianvis since many years. many five stars, seven stars may come and go, but such traditional places always be a favourite, no matter what.

starting with my review...

parking could be a problem as the place is located in the old city, but if you're patient for 5-10 minutes, you may get a spot to park your car. it is a dhaba and do not expect a five star treatment, but yes basic values are top notch. the waiters are polite and thoroughly professional. usually the service is quick, but on rare occasions, it may be slow (no serious issues noted till now).menuis pure vegetarian with a limited number of items (maybe just 10-12 dishes). dal tadka and lachha parantha should be the basic order. my personal favourite along with it is cheese tomato (although sweet, something that may not suit the punjabi palette). the sweet dish is cold kheer which is good.

over all, a good place if you wanna take your family to a nice dhaba style lunch or dinner.... satisfaction for sure.

statutory warning - don't count the calories intake if you're dining there.

was led to this place on my first stay at ludhiana near the railway station by the zomato app, and the popularity could be well judged by the long line of customers outside for takeaways and awaiting their turn to be seated inside. eventhough themenuis very limited (i suppose themenushown here is not the right one) each of the items i tried were a treat to eat. the service was quick for both the takeaways and the customers in the line were also promptly being placed.having ordered the dal makhani, shahi paneer, mix veg, lacha paratha and ending it with some kheer, it was quite a pleasure and each of the items were a rich mix of taste overloaded with ghee/butter in typical punjabi style.the service was also quick in both getting a seating space and also in serving the order. for the price and taste it serves, i feel a definite try if in ludhiana.
