i had been craving chicken fried steak all week. i order the chicken fried steak. ask for a side salad and a side of onion rings. onion rings cannot beorderedas a side with chicken fried steak. strike one. get the chicken fried steak. i think it was the worst chicken fried steak i've ever had. tough as leather. tasted like it had been cooked hours ago and heated in the micro wave. i was asked at the cash register how everything was. so i explained to the girl how bad everything was. she didn't say a word after that. not i'm sorry not anything. will not come here again.

excellent hole in the wall that you'd drive right passed if you weren't looking! hamburgers are delicious! iorderedthe kerry and my hubsorderedthe freiheit kerry which is just a bigger version! delicious and waiters friendly. very laid back!

fried pickles, fried okra, fried mushrooms were really great. weorderedthe weinerschnitzel only to be surprised. we lived in germany for 10 yrs and freiheits has more of a tx chicken fried *twist* to it. not what we were expecting..staff was friendly.

are you kidding!. well went to freiheit country store today wanting what is reported as the best burger in nb due to the happy cow's grill not opening till 2:00pm that truly has the best burger in all the surrounding areas, so we went to freiheit to check it out since shorty has sold it, and did have the best burgers and enchiladas and food. well the whole place inside looked very nice and clean and finally remodeled the bathroom's. checked out the menu andorderedthe fried pickles and some beers, got the beer's and than the pickles came out and they were just ok,salty. thenorderedour burgers well if anybody think's those are are the best are frickin crazy, and way over priced. well the onion ring's were good and the fries. so if you really want a awsome burger go to the happy cow in hunter tx, just down the way from rileys tavern.
