picked up a few cheeseburgers and tater tots for dinner. i really liked the location and the old set up. ourburgerswere fresh and flavorful, so were the buns which is major points for me. the service was lovely! i would definitely return and dine in next time.

simply an old establishment cateringburgersand beer. theburgersare good as is the other items in the menu. don't expect gourmet or a twisted take in regular food. portions are large. music is offered weekly with options to buy advance tickets. occasionally a well know name will perform.

i live an hour away from freiheit and i would drive that hour to eat here! theirburgersare to die for and their sides are all amazing! also they have a great salad bar! the service isn't as attentive as they should be all the time and the seating can suck but otherwise it's always great food!

freiheit country store. hells yeah i like it. eat there all the time. favorite place. ate there for lunch today. had the salad bar. it has almost as much on it as jason's deli for < half the price. that was one trip to the bar price with a huge deep plate. everything fresh. my husband had the chili. he liked it and said he would eat it again, although it was mild. he can throw on some jalapenos next time. theirburgershave fresh ground daily meat. they are fresh, juicy and delicioso.
it's a family place. new braunfels family. all are welcome and mike and linda are making improvements all the time. if you want gourmet this ain't the place. if you want "old" new braunfels atmosphere relaxing in a joint with cold beer and good music without the crowds of "tourons" in the gruene and downtown arena this is about it.

are you kidding!. well went to freiheit country store today wanting what is reported as the best burger in nb due to the happy cow's grill not opening till 2:00pm that truly has the best burger in all the surrounding areas, so we went to freiheit to check it out since shorty has sold it, and did have the bestburgersand enchiladas and food. well the whole place inside looked very nice and clean and finally remodeled the bathroom's. checked out the menu and ordered the fried pickles and some beers, got the beer's and than the pickles came out and they were just ok,salty. then ordered ourburgerswell if anybody think's those are are the best are frickin crazy, and way over priced. well the onion ring's were good and the fries. so if you really want a awsome burger go to the happy cow in hunter tx, just down the way from rileys tavern.
