excellent food and service. we had chicken salad sandwich and fish tacos. some of the best we have had.

terrific. we ate there last night with our two sons & everyone loved the food & had a good time. the blt is terrific & my husband had the scallop special, also excellent. the staff was friendly & helpful. the owner even came & said hello. great place, kid friendly and something for everyone.

a really good find. my 18-year-old niece and i went here for dinner this past sunday evening before heading to the hippodrome. the service and food were excellent and there was none of the big crazy crowd that you see at alewife, directly across from the theater. this is a wonderful alternative and will now become my go-to place for pre-theater dinners or for when friends come from out of town to attend games at the stadiums. frank & nic's is a short walk to everything! our service was excellent. i had mentioned to our host/wait staff that we were en route to the theater and asked if he could keep our time constraints in mind, which he absolutely did. the fries are to die for! keep this place in mind next time you are out and about downtown!

all true!. read the reviews and chose to eat here. service was quick, pleasant and efficient. when i ordered the grilled cheese the server smiled, and i said "yeah, i read the reviews". i was not disappointed... it was amazing... so decadent and delicious! the fries are great too! my son had the turkey reuben and loved it. good sized portions... brought food home. will come back again!

great afternoon at frank & nic's. the red thai mussels were so very good. five of us in our party and all of were very pleased with our food. the creamed spinach was super. jim waited on us and everything he recommended was delicious. we will be back.

pretty good. ok crab cake sandwich, although it had a little too much old bay seasoning, which made it salty and spicier than i would've preferred. not worth the $15 menu price. i've had better. service took a little long after we ordered. place wasn't very busy. but it had a comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. nice place to grab a bite before game time, but i wouldn't recommend the crab cake sandwich.

an amazing restaurant. i can't say enough about my experience at this restaurant. the food is excellent. you wouldn't expect the quality of. food that comes out when having such relaxed atmosphere. the service will keep you coming back as we did ....twice in one day. it you're even close to this area you've got to stop in.

i was staying at the hilton downtown. right next to the hotel. absolutely within walking distance. i got there right as they opened. the service was great. the waitress was helpful in suggesting dishes and very attentive. the food was great. i got the philly cheesesteak.. yum. would definitely go there again.

in the neighborhood of stadium. this is a good place to eat if you find yourself in the neighborhood by the stadium and you're hungry and don't want to look for something else. grilled cheese with tomato and bacon is great, but service was slow on a sunday afternoon when the place was totally empty.

grilled omcheese. so, we had planned on going elsewhere, but ended up here, somewhat begrudgingly.
it was great. great service. great place to watch the ravens - panthers game (on an enormous screen, all by ourselves in the dining room away from the loud bar). and finally... great grilled cheese. the best i've ever had.

we both ordered the $8 grilled cheese, that came with fries (you can get onion rings instead for another dollar).

havarti. cheddar. bacon (i left mine off, but my husband left his on). tomatoes (i got extra). all on what must be the largest slices of sourdough in america. the sandwiches were the size of buses. i wish i had ordered 14 to take home with me.

our waitress was awesome.
