fete ducroissantbust. i was very disappointed! we hit up 5 places, and only got served at 2 of them! fous desserts told us to come back in 30 min and when we did they said they ran out again (even though there were bags of croissants) and we’d have to wait 30 min, did we want to reserve... thanks for asking the first time! what's the point of hyping this festival and not serving people who actually show up (twice). bestcroissantwas at le fromentier on laurier.

best chocolate almondcroissantin the whole world, and i really hate exaggerating. le plateau, is filled with french bakeries, but fou dessert is the place that tops them all. i ordered a cafe latte made with fresh almond milk, and had to go for the chocolate almond croissant. it's scrumptious, it's heavy, it's filled with chocolate and almond paste, it's what acroissantshould look and taste like. their products are also bio and always served fresh. you will enjoy your experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

i haven't tried the cakes but the croissants were spectacular.  as good as it gets in my opinion... the chocolatines were soo good, the chocolate was high quality (i think they use valhrona).  the almost paste they use in the almondcroissantis super addicting, not too sweet and great almond flavor. only complaint i had is that the person behind the counter had a bit of an unpleasant attitude (might have been an off day..?).  in any case, will be back for sure for thecroissantand will try out the desserts.

fous truck puts together some of the best croissants in montreal. to be honest, i haven't tried acroissantthat combines a crisp exterior and delicately moist interior. it was the perfect balance, absurd that acroissantcan be so intricate, but the fous truck's croissants really are a sensory experience. you've got a bunch of options for fillings, including the ocean, with salmon, or the mediterranean with ricotta cheese and roasted tomatoes. the options are endless, and overall you'll be pleased. did someone just put pomegranate and balsamic vinegar on my take-away salad? if you haven't been to fous truck, go and try it out! 86 % jean-phillipe chartier a writer, designer, artist, foodie and enthusiast living in montreal, canada. you may also like... 0 free beaver tail day in montreal 22 jul, 2014

specializing in delectable croissants, fous desserts had several options to choose from. after scanning the menu, we knew we couldn’t go wrong with the trio, which included a drink and dessert. we opted for the club “bft”, which featured bacon, swiss cheese, tomatoes and seasoned mayo in a soft and flakey croissant, along with jasmine tea, infused with fresh quality herbs. for dessert, we ordered the “orange zest” pastry, as well as the chocolate brownie. after the first bite, it was clear thecroissantlived up to the hype– with a soft and flaky texture, it was naturally flavourful and instantly melded with the freshness of the tomato and swiss cheese. the subtle sweetness from the jasmine tea complemented the delectable taste of the bft. in terms of desserts, the brownie had a fresh and homemade quality to it– dry on the outside, but on the inside, full of creamy chocolatey goodness. the orange zest cookie lived up to its name and was a tangy treat. with high quality taste and fres

almondcroissant&... despite the fact that the almond croissants at fous desserts aren't quite consistent in quality, they are still, by far, the best i've had in montreal~

(also love mamie clafoutis's pistachio+almondcroissantummm.)

also got some decent choice in cakes (i used to love ida), and during summer times the strawberry+basil ice cream, my oh my╮(╯▽╰)╭.
