cold food and management!. dinner with my wife started out ok, i have to say the drinks were good and my mussell app. was great. dinner arrived cold, my strip steak and the sides were cold as was my wife's scallops. (but the fries were hot)? my wife was not offered to have herdishtaken back while my entree was being corrected so we ate the cold scallops while i waited for my entree. when i sent mydishback due to being a $34 cold strip steak with cold cream kale and cold sauteed onions on top; the original steak came back still sliced where i had checked it, looked microwaved and was now overcooked of course. when i asked for the manager he did not offer to refire the steak as would be proper but asked what else would i like. i asked why i could not have a properly cooked steak. he became very noticeably irritated at that point and said the we were showing aggression. ( i really only wanted a warm , medium rare strip steak with warm sides!) he actually said that they come with the pre sauted cold onions on top! i just had to leave at that point. my wife asked the waitress if there was a way we could speak to the owner as we left due to the poor customer service from the manager but was told that he was the owner!
i always though it is proper service procedure in a restaurant of this price point to 1. always satisfy the customer - don't argue 2. when adishhas an issue, take both partiesdishback, re-fire and correct the issue. back to training for you!
