flipdaddy's burgers & beers

two thumbs up. the atmosphere at flipdaddy's is very inviting to everyone, whether you want to sit with your family or at the huge bar. the service was great, but the food is what you'll remember. their fries and burgers are amazing. the new bayou burger is definitely my favorite thus far, and the portions are more than enough..can't wait to go back!

great burgers awesome beers. 2nd trip to the flip and had another fun experience. tried the chuck norris burger with grilled mac and cheese and it was delish. drank some excellent beer and watched the game. service was good, great place to hangout.

love the new burger!!! for all of you out there saying the burgers fall flat you need to give flipdaddys another shot and ask for their burger of the month! last month it was a delicious jack daniels bacon burger but this month is even better. as my waitress described the burger i was a little hesitant but after trying it i was so happy i ordered it! the burger has a vanilla glaze on it, grilled pineapples on top, a piece of swiss cheese, and then sone kind of homemade avocado mayo. absolutely amazing!!!!

good all around. good burgers, good service, and excellent selection of beers. my trip to the new restaurant was suggested by a friend. so, i went there on a thursday night and was surprised to find the place bumping.
we could have waited, but we were lucky to find the last two seats at the bar and ordered there. the bartender was very attentive, and almost seemed excited about the selection of beers. he was a delight to talk to, and even though he was very busy, he dealt with the business and didn't seem frazzled.
my sandwich and fries were very good. (terry's better watch out).
the only suggestion i could give the place is with the decor. the place seems very "light and open." more like a place where i'd go for lunch, but never dinner. it just seems too much like a lunch atmosphere.
maybe paint the ceiling a dark color, and invest in a professional for suggestions on lighting and such.

great new burger joint!. just had lunch at flipdaddy's for the first time. great vibe, especially for mariemont.

i had the black and tan burger with fries, and was very pleased with the meal. the fries alone were awesome, and the burger was big, flavorful, and cooked well. easily comparable with some of my other favorite burgers in cincinnati.

best of all, they had a fantastic beer selection. i will definitely eat here again.

welll,,,,,,,,. stoped in on a very crowded thursday night. the nice staff handled the crowds very well and everyone was pleasant. at the table, the waitress was nice and we ordered a very good beer. then came the burger grilled in beer with grilled onions. i don't know how they managed to do all that and yet the burger had no taste. very sad. i really wanted this place to be great --the staff is so good. but a burger place should have good burgers--right??????

a beer drinker's perfect meal. stopped by monday evening and met the parents. the pretzels with beer cheese was pretty much the perfect starter to go along with a ice cold one. just had the normal cheesburger, ordered medium and came out perfect. no complaints from the parents either. too many fries, but the ones i managed to put down tasted great. if you are a craft beer drinker and can't find something you like on flipdaddy's beer menu, you aren't looking hard enough. to top it all off, the service and waitstaff was phe-nomenal. one of the owners stopped by our table and asked if we would like to check out the beer cave. silly question. the food, beer and service, not so silly, but just right.

beer selection is good, but nothing special about burgers. the owner seemed very nice and stopped by our table to chat which was a nice touch. our party tried three different burgers and all were just ok, nothing great. the burgers were overcooked. beer selection is very good which is why i would go back. service was good.

great burgers and great service!. i have been twice and loved it both times. i had the black and tan burger and the regular cheese burger. both were great. the service is attentive and the beer selection is extensive. they do a good job of pairing a beer with a burger. my friend had one of the salads and said that it too was good. check it out!

want to like it. i really do want to like flipdaddy's, but the burgers really kind-of fell flat. i had onions on my burger that were steamed to a clear, flavorless consistancy. we had about 6-7 people and every single burger was overcooked. overcooked, unseasoned, bland toppings. the mac&cheese at the next table was literally being passed around like a frisbee/hockey puck. good service, pretty darn good beer selection, and crazy huge onion rings! i'm guessing the biggest o-rings i've ever seen. you literally need a fork/knife. i'd go back, but doubt i'll be a regular (eater) there.

it's a burger!. i liked the concept and they do have great beers on tap. (i was thrilled to try to the hop juice ipa) ... i had a burger with tapenade, feta and sun dried tomato. although i wasn't crazy about, the burger really was good and i think that if i would have stuck to cheese and bacon, it would have rocked! the staff is pleasant and they still feel really 'new'... but over time they will get through that. overall, it's a nice addition to the 'hood' and i will definitely be back for the beer.

just what mariemont needs. beer selection was wonderful- lots of different craft beers to try. staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and the burgers were delicious. worth going to try the sweet potato fries (and sauce) and beer cheese appetizers alone!

burgers. had the el paso burger with sweet potato fries and it was delicious. great beers, cool looking place, just what we need in mariemont.

service was good, overall product was poor.

ordered grilled chicken what came to the table was dry meat between two rocks!
